01/07/2026: Beautiful experience!!! 😍 we had two pizzas, which even if they weren't wood-fired, were really good (gorgonzola and pear pizza was special and tasty! 😋). Peach dessert with ice cream, fabulous!!! 🫶🏻 The owner and all the staff were really kind and knowledgeable!! It was a beautiful and super romantic experience!!! 🥰 👏🏻 really well done!!!

16/06/2026: We had 2 meals from and at Charlie Ristorante. 1 - a takeaway pizza that was wonderful and delicious 2 - a sit down meal in the ristorante that was simply spectacular. We’ve been travelling through Italy for nearly a month and this place is one of the best places we’ve dined at. We highly recommended eating here.

10/06/2026: A very nice restaurant, found after looking at reviews of other restaurants in the area. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. The mixed antipasto was good; they also brought us a small sample of the meat timbale, which was very welcome. I wasn't particularly impressed with the cured meats. Otherwise, the food was good and reasonably priced. The coffee panna cotta was delicious.

10/06/2026: We were here during the week, so it wasn't overly crowded. We were greeted very warmly by the waiters, who explained the menu and the off-menu dishes to us. We chose a mixed antipasto to share, a sirloin marinated in chimichurri (we were told the chef is of South American origins) and Umbrichelli all'Amatriciana. Let's start with the appetizer: I enjoyed the pappa al pomodoro with anchovies, the other anchovies alone, and the bruschetta. The cheeses were also good, but as for the cured meats, they were meager. Let's be clear, they weren't awful, but they weren't anything special or up to par with the local tradition. The Umbrichelli were good, too, neither praise nor infamy, but a generous portion. I was a bit disappointed by the sirloin; you couldn't taste the marinade at all; it practically seemed sliced ​​and cooked as is. It was a good meat, but since I couldn't taste the marinade, I can't say it lived up to the expectations given the presentation. Desserts: coffee panna cotta and pistachio cheesecake. The former was absolutely amazing, the cheesecake was delicious. Overall, a good experience, but nothing too bad. I was expecting something more, though. Maybe it was just a bad night, I'll try again.

26/07/2026: I had dinner there with a friend of mine and we had a great meal. The pizzas were very easy to digest. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

16/05/2026: A pleasant surprise! We tried three different first courses, all plentiful and truly delicious! Congratulations! Small, well-kept, and very welcoming place. Close to the station, where parking is easy to find. The icing on the cake was the fresh, homemade desserts. Truly a wonderful surprise!!!

17/05/2026: Umbrian appetizer, white pappardella with wild boar ragù, and arrosticini. Everything was excellent. Even simple baked potatoes were very good. We had the tagliata, and it was tender and tasty. The restaurant was very clean, and despite the crowds, once we arrived, even without a reservation, we were greeted with kindness and courtesy. It was obvious they were a little overwhelmed by the number of guests present, but they covered everything precisely and without confusion. The price per person was reasonable, the quality/price ratio was excellent, and the restaurant, which is also a hotel, was located in a quiet area with plenty of free parking.

23/07/2026: Very poor cleanliness. We ordered pasta with truffles, penne with sauce (including the paint on the pan where the pasta was reheated), and pasta with porcini mushrooms and truffles. The pasta was tasteless and inedible, flies crawling on your plates, and the edges were covered in dust. Moral of the story: we paid almost €40 for nothing, and the owner even had the nerve to ask why.

Thanks for giving us such a wonderful experience and leaving us with beautiful memories of our trip in Italy🥳

09/07/2026: After hastily abandoning a "restaurant" near the Marmore Falls (which, after seating us in a tiny room in stifling heat, literally ignored us for a good half hour, without even bringing us a glass of water, before we got bored and left in disgust...), we wandered around dejectedly for a few minutes before dejectedly heading towards Spoleto (our next stop). And here came the mirage: in the San Carlo area, we saw this beautiful restaurant and decided to stop, even though it was quite late (around 2:00 PM). We easily found a spot in the large parking lot and were immediately seated on the enormous outdoor veranda (cooled by large water coolers) by a very kind waiter who, seeing how exhausted we were from the heat, immediately brought us drinks before taking our order. Our order was served in no time, even though it was almost closing time!! And what more can I say? Excellent food, well-cooked and beautifully presented!! A special mention goes to the appetizer, which was truly delicious, well-stocked, and above all, so plentiful we almost couldn't finish it. And the mixed fried calamari and shrimp was absolutely perfect, light, and plentiful!! Kudos also to the very kind owner with her disarming smile, who handed us the bill and greeted us with old-fashioned courtesy and warmth. In short: this restaurant has rightfully become one of those "good" restaurants to recommend to friends and acquaintances, and... one to return to at the first opportunity!

03/07/2026: Good food, efficient staff, but having lunch outside with the temperature of the last few days, around 38 degrees and only with fans, which were also far from our table, was a real inconvenience, there was also an internal room but it was unused.
