11/08/2026: We went to Carlo's for lunch. The place is very simple but well-kept, and Carlo was friendly and welcoming. He told us that all the cheeses are his own, and that every dish is prepared by his wife, who runs the kitchen. In addition to what we ordered, he offered us additional cheeses to taste and some desserts. The prices aren't cheap, but considering the portions, they're more than justified! The portions were perhaps too generous, so much so that we couldn't finish everything we ordered (an appetizer to share and a main course each). The only downside is that Carlo is alone in the dining room, and we sat for almost two hours. Not recommended for a quick lunch, but definitely recommended if you want to enjoy good food and a friendly and attentive host!

11/08/2026: A very informal yet welcoming place. Carlo, the owner, and his wife are truly friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, all home-made. The cold cuts and cheese platter is excellent. The homemade bread is good. Prima is good quality.

01/07/2026: Beautiful experience!!! 😍 we had two pizzas, which even if they weren't wood-fired, were really good (gorgonzola and pear pizza was special and tasty! 😋). Peach dessert with ice cream, fabulous!!! 🫶🏻 The owner and all the staff were really kind and knowledgeable!! It was a beautiful and super romantic experience!!! 🥰 👏🏻 really well done!!!

16/06/2026: We had 2 meals from and at Charlie Ristorante. 1 - a takeaway pizza that was wonderful and delicious 2 - a sit down meal in the ristorante that was simply spectacular. We’ve been travelling through Italy for nearly a month and this place is one of the best places we’ve dined at. We highly recommended eating here.

19/08/2026: We stopped at Mennula in Fabro for lunch, and it was an excellent choice. ​The menu offers delicious options for all tastes: ​First courses: a Carbonara to die for, with a rich and enveloping cream, flavorful guanciale, and just the right amount of pepper. ​Sandwiches: the burger is spectacular, with perfectly cooked juicy meat and soft, fragrant puccia-style bread. ​The atmosphere is informal, refined, and truly welcoming. This adds to the excellent service, handled with great courtesy and speed by owners Ciro and Sabrina.

20/08/2026: Very tasty food, self made pasta. Delicious ragu. Nice service and view outside. I can recommend this place for tasty meal.

17/08/2026: This was our first time at this restaurant. We'd made reservations earlier in the day, and they sat us at a table where the paper placemats had been recycled. Then I saw my name on a nearby table that was taken later. The agnolotti and pan-fried rabbit were very good, but the crème caramel was a little less so.

16/08/2026: While chaos reigned everywhere, I spent a fantastic Ferragosto holiday in the company of good friends. Thanks to Mr. Claudio, his son, and the entire staff, who were incredibly kind and attentive, welcomed and hosted us all, including our big dog, Arya, in the best possible way. Exquisite food, a super relaxed atmosphere, and lots and lots of smiles. It couldn't have been better. A special mention for the tiramisu and limoncello: delicious! It was my first time at this restaurant, but I'll definitely be returning. See you soon for the "Follow the Dream" aperitif and to enjoy the pizza in the evening breeze. Thank you so much, Francesca

25/07/2026: We ordered a hot starter and a cold one, it seems to me like lovers' ones, and a fried prawn and calamari dish. We would need to review everything. One piece of advice: when you propose the food, it must be explained where you start.

17/06/2026: A wonderful discovery just outside Ferentillo along the Valnerina. Quality seafood and mouth-watering dishes, right down to the dessert. A welcoming and spacious location surrounded by nature.

17/05/2026: Umbrian appetizer, white pappardella with wild boar ragù, and arrosticini. Everything was excellent. Even simple baked potatoes were very good. We had the tagliata, and it was tender and tasty. The restaurant was very clean, and despite the crowds, once we arrived, even without a reservation, we were greeted with kindness and courtesy. It was obvious they were a little overwhelmed by the number of guests present, but they covered everything precisely and without confusion. The price per person was reasonable, the quality/price ratio was excellent, and the restaurant, which is also a hotel, was located in a quiet area with plenty of free parking.

23/08/2026: The food was excellent; the restaurant is hidden away, and the entrance isn't very obvious! The service was also efficient, but a little more smile and empathy would have been appreciated!

22/08/2026: A homely restaurant, what they do is what you eat... but what a treat. It feels like eating at home, right there with your relatives. Loved by truck drivers and travelers, the daily fixed menu at a rock-bottom price, Sunday lunch quality, and the staff are incredibly polite. We need more restaurants like this, and less Michelin-starred crap. Highly recommended.

13/08/2026: We've eaten there several times, and every time we've recommended it to our friends and family, we've been very positive. Last Sunday, returning from a weekend, we stopped in with my wife and son. It was crowded...my son ordered meat and a side dish. My wife and I ordered pizza, with the recommendation that they be well-done. The staff was friendly and kind, so much so that they recommended a small appetizer because we would have waited at least half an hour for the pizzas. My son was served immediately after the appetizer. After endless requests and after about 80 long minutes, only one pizza arrived—mine—and it was half raw. I called the waitress and politely asked her to cook it. I waited another 30 minutes and was served the same pizza, which by then was similar to a piadina. In all, my wife's pizza arrived after I had finished mine out of hunger. I hope next time will be better. I have faith in the owner, whom I've known since he was a boy. Fingers crossed.

20/07/2026: Hungry after hours of traveling to Terni, the guy at the counter fed us all in no time. Everything was really good, compliments also to the guys in the kitchen, you can tell they know what they're doing!!!
