06/04/2026: Last night, returning from two days in Umbria over the Easter weekend, the four of us found ourselves enjoying one of those experiences that came about completely by chance... but are hard to forget. After a beautiful bike ride along the Spoleto-Norcia stretch, during our sandwich stop, we realized something rather obvious: finding a restaurant open for Easter dinner without a reservation would be a feat. In fact, after calling at least 15 restaurants—all open only for lunch—we had one last option: La Primula. We didn't look at reviews, we had no expectations. I called. On the other end, a shrill voice said, "Sure, I have room for four, I'll see you this evening!" And so, almost on a bet, we decided to go. We arrived in front of the restaurant and, I have to be honest, our impressions were mixed: from the outside, it didn't even look like a restaurant. But as soon as we stepped inside, we found ourselves in a timeless, authentic, almost suspended environment. Carlo welcomed us. He leads us to the table, and we look around: few people, a quiet atmosphere. Then the menu arrives, written in pen on a sheet of straw paper... and then something changes. Because then Carlo arrives, and magic happens. An incredible character, one of those who seem to have stepped out of a novel. One of those you have to choose to believe in to be transported by his stories: the life of a shepherd, the life in the inns, experiences, stories, pieces of life that intertwine with what arrives on the plate. And in the dishes, there's all this. Behind the stove is his partner, a woman you wouldn't expect at first glance, but who actually has expert hands, like those of true old-fashioned cooking. A mastery reminiscent of that of grandmothers, made of confident gestures, experience, and a love for what she prepares. Authentic cuisine, without frills, direct. Portions like you don't see anymore. Real flavors, which Carlo describes with such passion that they become even more delicious. A place frozen in a different time, far from the frenzy of everyday life. We'll definitely be back. Because more than a dinner, it was an experience. And because a little bit of Carlo... stays with you.

06/04/2026: The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Carlo takes you inside and explains everything about every product he serves (all of his own production). A family-run business that makes you feel at home. We were offered a homemade amaro (also homemade) and a complimentary bottle of water. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat well and feel at home.

18/01/2026: Very nice trattoria, located along the road. Good food and excellent prices. Reservations are recommended as it gets very busy. Generous portions, friendly waiters, and a warm atmosphere (in winter) are always welcome! We'll be back!

29/03/2026: The food was absolutely delicious. It was probably the best food I have had in months and I try a lot of different foods. The service was absolutely fantastic the waiters gave us water immediately and bread immediately, and they brought us our food within minutes. And finally the atmosphere. I can’t even describe how amazing it was, it was so delicious and scrumptious. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area.

05/01/2026: We originally came to Charlie’s looking for pizza but accidentally arrived too early to get pizza. Regardless it was amazing, the vegetable soup was perfect for a cold day. My sister who has celiac, often making it difficult to find an enjoyable dining experience, was met with many options on the menu. She was even given gluten free crackers as an alternative for the bread the rest of us were given. We had many restrictions in our party aside from the celiac, including nut allergies and a vegetarian diet, all of which were accommodated to. The wine and espresso were both amazing and had great flavor. The service was excellent and our server was patient with us, providing us insight on the menu in English. This is most definitely somewhere I would recommend.

07/04/2026: We went there for Easter Monday with my wife and daughter. From the moment we arrived until we left, they treated us professionally. The food was delicious. We had a mixed antipasto and a tasting of the truly delicious olive oil. We had the fettuccine with wild boar, which was delicious, and the ravioli with Cintasenese beef were also excellent. The owner was very kind and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend it. The restaurant is beautiful because you eat inside a cave, immersed in history. If I ever return to Orvieto, I'll definitely stop by to eat again.

16/03/2026: We've had lunch at Tenuta several times. It's a beautiful place for any occasion, from family lunches or dinners to celebrations of any kind. The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and eager to please. Thanks to Michela for serving us so professionally and always ready to assist. We'll be back soon.

18/03/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and it was a very pleasant surprise. The best burger I've ever had! Everything was really good: pasta, fries, nuggets... Highly recommended, also for the kindness of the waitresses.

08/03/2026: Quality food, not at all heavy fried foods, the pizza dough (Neapolitan-style) is truly light and easily digestible, and the toppings are high-quality, healthy, and light, even the more demanding ones like full-fat dairy products: ricotta, mozzarella, and burrata. You can tell they've chosen high-quality ingredients, starting with the flour. Table service is slightly lacking due to the small wait staff. However, politeness, courtesy, and helpfulness are not lacking. The atmosphere is average, neither praiseworthy nor infamous. I found the bathroom very clean at 11:00 PM on a Saturday, so top notch. I recommend it and will definitely return.

26/02/2026: Exceptional pizza, delicious, thin crust and well-cooked in a wood-fired oven. Superb menu. The service was excellent; I was well-attended and assisted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'm giving it only three stars for atmosphere because I found it too noisy. It's a huge room with lots of tables, reminiscent of an 80s pizzeria.

03/04/2026: While traveling from Orvieto to Perugia, I stopped to admire a beautiful lake called Lago di Corbara. During the drive, I spotted a village at the top that looked like it would offer a great view, so I decided to head up without any prior planning. As a result, I stumbled upon this lovely shop, and the view from the terrace was truly artistic. The service was friendly, and the price was very reasonable at 1.50 euros for a cappuccino. Card payments were hassle-free, and I really appreciated that it was located in a quiet residential area. It is a place I definitely want to visit again on my next trip to Italy.

05/02/2026: A delicious trattoria! We stopped for dinner and tried several dishes, all truly delicious and plentiful (the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms is highly recommended, truly excellent). The service was super friendly, there was no wait, and the prices were very reasonable. A wonderful experience, we'll definitely be back!

It offers both a restaurant option with vegetarian and vegan cuisine and all the typical dishes, as well as a pizzeria. Excellent and very friendly service. We tried the vegetarian menu, which was delicious. Highly recommended.

30/11/2025: A wonderful evening with friends over pinsa, the best in Terni because they specialize exclusively in it. Lots of different flavors with unusual pairings. Delicious homemade supplì and mouth-watering desserts. Friendly and helpful service, understandably higher prices than regular pizzerias.

15/03/2026: A top-quality restaurant. We had the pasta carbonara and cacio e pepe. The pasta dishes were delicious, and the grilled meat was exceptional. The homemade desserts were delicious. Highly recommended, and the location is excellent near the Attigliano toll booth.

08/03/2026: A historic local restaurant, its success based on traditional Umbrian cuisine. Grilled meats and Grandma Adia's bowls reign supreme. Attentive and courteous staff.
