03/05/2026: My partner and I happened upon this place by chance a few weeks ago. The entrance to the restaurant is certainly unique, yet very authentic. The owner's welcome immediately gives you a sense of warmth and authenticity, and the rest of the staff is also incredibly kind. The quality and flavor of the food are beyond words; it simply has to be experienced! Thanks to Carlo (if I'm not mistaken, that's the owner's name) for this sensational experience!

02/05/2026: The food was good, average; I wasn't impressed, but I wasn't disappointed either. The prices were definitely high (the first course was around €17-18). The staff was very kind and helpful, which is probably its strength. Unfortunately, the rest was nothing special: the atmosphere was dark and neglected, the glasses were all sorts of different (I dined with a cocktail glass, also used for wine), and the house wine was definitely not to be ordered. I definitely won't be returning.

26/04/2026: Four of us dined at this restaurant on the evening of April 25, 2026, and it was a wonderful experience of flavors, aromas, courtesy, and familiarity. A 10 out of 10 goes to the entire dinner, from the platters to the first courses, the meat, and the side dishes, all enhanced by the friendliness of Claudio and his entire family. We didn't try the desserts just because we were full, but we promise to return with more friends and enjoy the dessert experience as well. The price was fair and honest.

It's a wonderful place made up of exceptional and special people. Incredible elements and synergies of flavor are the best you could wish for. All these elements are brought to life by the heart and soul of the incredible and incredibly talented Patron Chef Katia Trippanera. She possesses an absolute, top-notch technique that allows her to work the ingredients like very few others, resulting in dishes that are beyond unique and incredibly flavorful, but above all...simple. Her management is a tribute to patience and quality: here, service is entirely express, meaning every dish is created the moment you order it. The expertly crafted ingredients, beyond perfection, blend seamlessly with the highest-quality raw materials, used with incredible skill. 05/05/2026: Yesterday we had the pleasure of lunch at Ristorante Montenero, a true gem in the Amelia countryside, which this year celebrates an extraordinary milestone: 100 years in business, since 1926. A family-run trattoria that has successfully reinvented itself in its hospitality without ever betraying its soul: that of authentic Umbrian tradition. Dishes that tell a story of authentic flavors and passion, such as the hearty and authentic handmade fettuccine with ragù, game, pan-fried chicken, stewed mutton, and coratella (a kind of lamb cutlet). All prepared with local produce and the highest-quality ingredients. But beyond the cuisine, what truly strikes you is the atmosphere: a warm, family-friendly environment where you immediately feel at home. One of those rare places that still retains the profound sense of time-honored hospitality. My sincere congratulations to the entire staff for preserving and passing on such an important tradition. 29/03/2026: The food was absolutely delicious. It was probably the best food I have had in months and I try a lot of different foods. The service was absolutely fantastic the waiters gave us water immediately and bread immediately, and they brought us our food within minutes. And finally the atmosphere. I can’t even describe how amazing it was, it was so delicious and scrumptious. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area.

05/01/2026: We originally came to Charlie’s looking for pizza but accidentally arrived too early to get pizza. Regardless it was amazing, the vegetable soup was perfect for a cold day. My sister who has celiac, often making it difficult to find an enjoyable dining experience, was met with many options on the menu. She was even given gluten free crackers as an alternative for the bread the rest of us were given. We had many restrictions in our party aside from the celiac, including nut allergies and a vegetarian diet, all of which were accommodated to. The wine and espresso were both amazing and had great flavor. The service was excellent and our server was patient with us, providing us insight on the menu in English. This is most definitely somewhere I would recommend.

04/05/2026: A must-see location, a truly exceptional welcome. We took the 45 euro menu, 1 kg of Chianina beef for two with roast potatoes, a glass of wine and dessert... we were a little disappointed with the meat... too stringy... it didn't melt in your mouth, the rest was good.

28/04/2026: It was really delicious! I went without high expectations, but there wasn't a single dish that wasn't tasty, from the truffle pasta to the steak. The atmosphere was great, and I appreciate the lively, friendly, and well-mannered staff. Also, the restroom was incredibly clean and spacious. It's hard to find a nice restroom in Italy, but I liked that this one felt very well-maintained.

06/05/2026: It presents itself as a Ceneria, with an outdoor area that isn't particularly beautiful, but inside the location is welcoming and well-kept, reminiscent of a pub-pizzeria-grill restaurant. But the service and ingredients are on par with a high-end restaurant! Let's start with the service: there were 12 of us, and Leandro served us with great care, friendliness, empathy, and speed. Even the extra virgin olive oil brought to the table had an intense fruitiness from a local mill, which isn't easy to find even in gourmet restaurants. And every dish ordered, from the ancient grain or regular pizzas to the sliced ​​meats and desserts, was excellent and served promptly and with attention to detail. The bill was also itemized, ensuring complete transparency. Kudos also to the owner for his vision and organization.

16/05/2026: A pleasant surprise! We tried three different first courses, all plentiful and truly delicious! Congratulations! Small, well-kept, and very welcoming place. Close to the station, where parking is easy to find. The icing on the cake was the fresh, homemade desserts. Truly a wonderful surprise!!!

07/04/2026: Traveling with my girlfriend, we discovered this magic... We wanted to try the Lovers' Tower, but unfortunately it was closed, so we opted to have lunch at the fantastic restaurant, which offers not only a fabulous view but also fabulous, indescribably wonderful traditional cuisine. There are no words to describe the breadth of emotions that embrace and captivate me... even just thinking about the magical experience; whether it's the food, the location, the kindness, friendliness, cordiality, and professionalism I encountered!! Thank you, my only regret is not having been able to find time to stay overnight... So I can't give a full review... but from what I saw, it was certainly a unique experience too!

16/03/2026: We've had lunch at Tenuta several times. It's a beautiful place for any occasion, from family lunches or dinners to celebrations of any kind. The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and eager to please. Thanks to Michela for serving us so professionally and always ready to assist. We'll be back soon.

26/02/2026: Exceptional pizza, delicious, thin crust and well-cooked in a wood-fired oven. Superb menu. The service was excellent; I was well-attended and assisted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'm giving it only three stars for atmosphere because I found it too noisy. It's a huge room with lots of tables, reminiscent of an 80s pizzeria.

19/05/2026: This place is fantastic. We were visiting Orvieto for the day and got to the train station about an hour and a half early to head back to Rome. We just were looking for a place to eat that was near the station and wandered over to this restaurant. It was fantastic. Affordable, great tasting, and not too busy. We got the lasagna, a margherita pizza, and a kind of pasta (which I can't quite remember the name of) ... it was so good. Overall a great expereince and would highly recommend. Also, probably cheaper than eating in Orvieto at the top of the hill.

17/05/2026: The most beautiful friendly, smiley customer service ever. My suitcase has been lost by an airline and the delightful owner offered me extra clothes. This is a memory I will treasure forever. The pizzas were simply delicious and exactly as they should be - thin crust and fresh, good quality ingredients. Very fair prices too. I’m sorry we are leaving Orvieto tomorrow - because I would eat here again if I could.
