14/09/2025: Conditionally. The pizzas were truly delicious and generously topped. The service was abysmal. We ordered takeout. They said it would take 20 minutes. In the end, it took 45 minutes (!!!). For me, pregnant and with a toddler (2), this was an absolute disgrace. I think they forgot our order. The endless wait and the fact that several guests who arrived after us were served before us unfortunately spoiled the experience for me.

07/09/2025: There were 11 of us, and unfortunately, the experience wasn't a positive one.
We wanted to order potato croquettes for our appetizer, but they were sold out, so we opted for fried pasta, which, however, was also sold out. We received our drinks after about an hour, and after a two-hour wait, we were informed that the dough for three pizzas was sold out. In the end, we were forced to leave without dinner.
I should point out that the waitress was very kind and helpful, but the kitchen and service management were truly disappointing.
21/08/2025: Super good pizza, excellent products, the waitress was young and inexperienced, she didn't smile at the customers and had an annoyed attitude, the garden outside would be very nice if kept better

15/08/2025: We've been coming to this place for many years. It's a historic pizza spot in Lucca. A family atmosphere welcomes customers and makes them feel at home. The pizza is excellent; I love Calogero's pita bread, which I think is the best. They also have a good selection of beers and desserts; the croccantino is a classic. The place also offers outdoor seating under a pergola overlooking a fully enclosed and well-kept garden, where children can play safely in a small playground.

26/09/2025: Interesting place. It seems frozen in time. The food was definitely good, even if it didn't wow me; for example, I would have avoided the little bit of cream in the mushroom starter. The price was fair.

Beautiful dining room, delicious, simple, and authentic food... The porcini mushrooms were out of this world!

26/08/2025: Posto con poco parcheggio, persone indisponenti sembrava che facessero un favore a servirti. Piatti e pizza nella norma. Credo che non ci torneremo più. Prezzi non all'altezza.
09/08/2025: Unfortunately, it was a takeaway pizza because there was no room inside for 5 people. The pizza tasted okay, not too big, and the prices were reasonable.

08/09/2025: I found the food below average, and the service was okay. The courtyard is very cute. It's a shame, it had potential.
01/09/2025: Unfortunately, our experience here was very disappointing. Service was slow and unprofessional – we waited 40 minutes for bread after they brought olive oil to the table. The servers spoke poor English and seemed disorganized throughout the evening.
The red wine was served cold, which in Italy is surprising and simply wrong. Italians should know better. The food itself was no better: the bresaola was tough, the Parmesan on the carpaccio was hard and tasteless, and overall the quality was far below expectations.
On top of that, the waiting times were extremely long, making the whole experience frustrating rather than enjoyable.
I cannot recommend this restaurant – both the service and food were of poor quality.

03/10/2025: Takeout was easy after a quick phone call. We had pizza and pasta, and we absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly, and communication in English wasn't a problem either. The atmosphere is lovely :)

The food is delicious, with attention to detail. The house wine is also delicious.
The prices are truly attractive.
The Polish waitress carries the entire service on her shoulders! Exceptionally friendly and professional. We'll gladly return for a good dinner 🙂

11/08/2025: I had never been there and I have to say, even if no one believes it, it's the first time I've eaten 2 pizzas and had no problems, and then I made various comparisons between pieces and quality, I would never have expected it, an informal place just as I like it, without too many fuss.
