16/11/2025: The welcome was warm and the food was tasty, far from ordinary, especially for me, who have a discerning palate (we tried the Florentine steak). The location was excellent! Of course, the price also reflects the quality of the food and the location!

25/09/2025: The most delicious pizza I've ever had is here. The guy who handles it is incredibly positive and friendly. You should definitely try it, even if it's just for a quick bite.

19/10/2025: Beautifully decorated shop, with friendly service from the owner. We enjoyed the appetizer and pasta very much. Unfortunately, the heavy porcelain plates weren't preheated, and the food arrived relatively cold at the table. The same goes for the espresso cups, but the espresso itself isn't recommended either. Unusual for Italy, it's simply watery and lacks crema. This also unfortunately spoils the tiramisu, which presumably used the same espresso.

16/10/2025: Do not hesitate. Book the reservation. We are at two Michelin restaurants on our trip and B.O.r.G.O. Was better than everything else we had. Gabriele was a fantastic host and chef. I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know going to Florence.

20/10/2025: Highly recommended, the pizza and octopus are super good, a highly recommended place in the area.

20/10/2025: I hadn't had good experiences with service in Italy, but this place was a huge relief, especially in that regard: the waiters were super friendly, willing to help, and even though they didn't speak fluent Spanish, they made an effort to understand us. That's where my experience started off well. We were greeted with tostones (fried plantains) and a glass of champagne 🥂 We had better service anywhere 🥰 The food: delicious! We tried octopus on a bed of potatoes as a starter: delicious! The octopus was super soft and delicious. We also had a pizza with prosciutto 🤤 This place is more than just a restaurant, it's a balm in the middle of a trip.

27/11/2025: This place is inconspicuous from the outside, but very lovely inside. The pizza and pasta we had was full of flavour. The pizza was cooked perfectly in their woodfire oven, and the pasta sauce was divine. The prices were very reasonable. We'd recommend this place!

24/11/2025: This family run restaurant it doesn't serve fine dining plates or fancy decorations, but for sure they serve food cooked with love and from their hearts.

17/11/2025: We’ve spent much time in Florence and adore the restaurants. This particular establishment rates as our absolute best! The building itself is gorgeous, especially the interior which is simple, tasteful and beautifully done. The food. . . ah, the food! Hubby had the Meat Lasagne. . . the flavor was incredible! No tomato, just meat, cheese and pasta. . . it burst with flavor! Magnificent! My lamb chops with potatoes were perfectly cooked and exquisite! The grilled vegetables were also amazing, fresh, lightly herbed and wonderful. We’ve discovered our new favorite place to enjoy the flavors of Florence! We’ve already booked another meal there.

01/11/2025: La Botteghe di Donatello is an amazing restaurant, the atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, the food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. We went there several times during our stay in Florence, and every visit was wonderful. I’d like to give special thanks to Norbert, who welcomed us warmly and was very attentive and friendly. Without a doubt, an exceptional professional.

10/11/2025: We had lunch at this trattoria on Sunday, without a reservation, and they told us they'd found a table. It's a family-run restaurant where both the dining room and kitchen are staffed by young, talented people. The dishes are traditional Tuscan, delicious, and plentiful. The fresh pasta is clearly homemade. The cantuccini are fabulous! In a deserted Scarperia, and without understanding why it was listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy, eating at Il Torrione alone is worth the trip. Well done, keep up the good work!

10/11/2025: Everything was simply delicious! This restaurant was a fantastic discovery! Every dish was carefully crafted, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. From appetizers to desserts, everything was truly delicious. The staff is friendly, smiling, and always available, and the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. You can tell there's passion in the kitchen and a desire to make their customers feel good. The prices are fair for the quality offered. 31/10/2025: The service staff and pizza chef were friendly and helpful. The pizza was delicious: I found the dough to be better than the last time I had it in March (which was already good): light and easy to digest.
