15/12/2024: Locale piccolo all'ingresso del Barberino del Mugello, pochi tavoli, menu tipicamente toscano.
Prendiamo un piatto di crostoni misti (6 euro), 3 ravioli al ragù, si sentiva che erano fatti n casa, con la ricotta e gli spinaci che strabordavano, impasto particolare con farina integrale.
2 cantucci accompagnati da Vinsanto e Vermouth del Mugello.
1 bottiglia di prosecco Corner.

Homemade and artisanal first courses, the fried ficattole are also excellent.
Small but very characteristic environment, it seems to be in the country houses of the past

The very good starter crostoni with lard and truffle and the two pasta dishes (pesto with black cabbage and sausage and porcini ragù), recommended by the waiter, far exceeded our expectations. The quality of the ingredients is clearly a strong point combined with the perfect preparation and cooking. The unbeatable value for money. Definitely worth returning.

01/09/2024: We went for dinner, my husband and I took a platter of cold cuts and cheeses (4 types of cold cuts of 2 slices each, 2 types of cheese and a mousse), a bottle of house wine... I don't know if it had 2 types of menus (one for residents and one for tourists) but the prices were unacceptable so much so that we spent €43.... But the bread was very fresh!
21/08/2024: Very nice and cozy atmosphere. Great food and very kind service. We had zucchini flowers, truffle pasta, pasta with tomato sauce and tiramisu and enjoyed every meal. Servers speak enough english to understand you. The only issue was the free bread with butter, that was lacking salt. Apart from that, amazing experience

03/08/2024: I’ve rated this a three because the service was great, the pizza itself… not so much. I really wanted to love this as I read many great reviews so maybe I went on a bad day. The sauce was thick and flavourless, the cheese was sparse and tasteless. Not the best decision and very rare that I can’t even consume it.

30/10/2024: Questo locale posizionato sulle colline tra Vicchio e Dicomano è molto invitante sia per l'estate con gli spazi all'aperto che d'inverno all'interno del fabbricato. L'attuale gestione non è all'altezza del locale: il servizio dignitoso ma alcuni piatti non sufficienti come i coccoli, la tartare e soprattutto i tagliolini con funghi porcini del mugello che non avevano sicuramente questa origine.
Il prezzo adeguato alla location ma non alle portate.
18/10/2024: Sono anni che vengo al Caldetino e posso dire che è davvero il mio posto preferito nel Mugello; per esser certa di fare bella figura ci ho portato un amico ieri sera e che dire, primi buonissimi e carne spettacolare.. in aggiunta a questo, il locale è davvero accogliente e mi sembra proprio di essere a casa. Grazie 🫶🏻
