18/07/2025: Been here in Sicily for the last 10 days, ate pizza at like 5 places all around Sicily but this place is SO FAR the BEST ive been at. Foods great, two guys here are awsome, tho they dont really speak english, asked us several times if everythings okay, could take the order was ready in least than 10 (did not count that). Recommend it🤩✨💯💯💯💯💯

01/08/2025: A fantastic family-run hotel that leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is just perfect at the Hotel Condor. Upon arrival, you receive a warm and friendly welcome. The rooms are all in immaculate condition and leave nothing to be desired in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Another highlight is the excellent breakfast and fantastic dinner. A great indoor pool and a well-maintained, cozy outdoor area complete the picture. Highly recommended!

30/06/2025: Typical bar of the area with excellent granitas, it is also possible to eat in their restaurant tasty dishes of both the Sicilian tradition but also excellent recipes based on fish (fresh fish). Kind and welcoming staff.

28/06/2025: Spartan atmosphere, great courtesy, excellent mussels and swordfish, good buffet. Recommended if you are looking for simplicity and goodness

30/06/2025: This is an Italian Trattoria in a small town and it delivers on that. Simple but well done dishes with fresh local ingredients and an attentive service make this a good place for a feel good dinner.

24/06/2025: Courteous and welcoming staff, clean place, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the menu.

14/07/2025: A delicious restaurant/pizzeria not far from Syracuse, with a large veranda and indoor parking, as well as a garden suitable for receptions. The menu we sampled on the three consecutive evenings we visited included a cone of mixed fried fish, a trio of citrus gratin pasta, almond parfait, pizzolo pasta with eggplant, swordfish caponata, mussels with pepper, and pistachio parfait, along with zibibbo grapes and sorbet.

11/07/2025: A great place with ample parking, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and a beautiful garden overlooking Mount Etna. A large playground for children. We went there twice during our stay – the service was friendly (Angelo was excellent). We enjoyed the meat dishes, as well as the fish and seafood, and the local pizza (the chefs loved them). And finally, the desserts… Everything was delicious. The prices were reasonable for the quality. I definitely recommend it.

19/07/2025: We were at this restaurant yesterday, the second shift, and I don't recommend the fixed fish menu. 1. The appetizer was poor and flavorless. 2. The first courses, mainly the seafood risotto, were watery and in some parts almost tasted plain. 3. The second courses, the fried fish and mussels were good. The calamari with its sauce was COLD and tasteless. I don't know what went on in the kitchen, but I'd heard good things about it. If so, I strongly advise against it.

12/07/2025: U Palangaru, renowned and now famous in Portopalo. One of the busiest restaurants, for sure. The strong points are definitely the atmosphere, which I've always found very relaxing, and the Chef's appetizer: Una Bomba. The only flaw? The overpriced first and second courses. In Portopalo, I still haven't found a restaurant that stands out from the crowd. The usual first courses with cherry tomatoes, pistachios, shrimp, etc. No one ever stands out. I recommend trying something new, the potential is there. The combination menu idea is also nice.

01/06/2025: If you go early and the Chef has some time to spare, he may offer to serve you a Sicilian specialty dish (not on the menu). Just do it, you will not be disappointed! The best pizza we had in Sicily and not to forget the very friendly service. Highly recommended!

22/07/2025: The first time I got a takeaway pizza and I really liked it, then I happened to get a delivery and in addition to the fact that they were very late, the pizzas arrived with little toppings, I would say almost non-existent, and I also found the dough to have deteriorated. Too bad.

27/07/2025: Good pizza, only flaw was that it arrived a little burnt, main problem, the lamps above the tables attract dozens of flies that inevitably end up on the plate and glasses... shame because the food is worth it

20/07/2025: It's our regular stop before heading to the beach: wonderful breaded pastries, the best in the province. The staff is always smiling and cheerful. I recently tried their breakfasts too: they're spectacular.
