23/08/2025: A historic and charming place, the tables are set on a beautiful, wide staircase, and the service is very attentive and professional. The food is simple but superb 😋😋😋😋

14/08/2025: An experience to forget... the appetizer consisted of Ragusa scaccie, not fresh but reheated and therefore dry and inedible, and the stale bread was a real pain to break. The first courses were presented on a single plate, consisting of three ravioli and a handful of cavatelli, covered with a couple of spoonfuls of sauce. The second course consisted of 3 cm of sausage and 30 g of meat in an unsalted sauce, sweet and sour rabbit without the sweetness, with two pieces of bone, but plenty of carrots and celery. My wife ordered the sweet and sour chicken, with the same result, but with only one chicken wing. Naturally, the bill would have been huge at Cracco's restaurant. Never again... and I hope they realize what they're offering and reconsider their offer. I forgot... there were four of us.

28/06/2025: The food was also good, too bad for the employees of the place who were as nice as a finger in the ass, especially if they see that you come from outside.

08/06/2025: I consumed the classic brioche with toasted almond granita which I found excellent. But the ice creams also looked super inviting. The staff was courteous and professional. The external extension of the place was good but it had a not very pleasant view: the petrol station! A separation with green hedge plants would be better. I did not consume rotisserie or other foods so I cannot raise the level of the evaluation. It is certainly a recommendable bar-pastry shop because, overall, it is of an excellent standard.

Thanks to Francesco, a very nice waiter the evening flew by. Highly recommended..we will definitely return even if we are not from the area..SUPERRRR

31/07/2025: Except for one night, we always dined at Pedalino, in restaurant La Borgatella, it was close by from our B&B and away from the busy city centers. Don't be scared of its remoteness, you'll find everything you need here at a reasonable price. The food is delicious. It's local, but they're super friendly and speak English. You can scan the menu on the spot with your phone, which takes away some of the charm, but it makes it easier to order in your own language. You can dine indoors or outdoors, but we preferred inside so you wouldn't have to worry about people smoking. Parking is easily accessible very close to the restaurant. So, highly recommended if you're staying in the area or just passing through, it's definitely worth dining here.

16/08/2025: I ordered two pizzas through Deliveroo on the evening of August 15th, a peculiar date with few pizzerias open. The order was scheduled for 9:00 PM, but the delivery kept slipping every half hour. At 10:00 PM, I called to find out the situation: there were no riders available. So far, the service is to blame, although I would have expected at least a call to be notified; without my initiative, would I have been left without dinner? When I contacted the pizzeria directly, they asked me if I wanted to pick up the order in person. I agreed and was told the pizzas would be prepared immediately. Once I arrived at the restaurant, however, I had to wait 27 minutes: in the end, I ate dinner at 11:00 PM. I would have expected them to be ready or in the oven, considering they were only two pizzas, a delivery service that never arrived and a delay of over an hour; 27 minutes seems a bit excessive given the cooking time and the situation. The pizza was good, but the service and customer care for takeaway definitely needs improvement.

23/08/2025: Excellent experience, everything was good, the staff were kind and very professional, not to mention Salvo, who was courteous, smiling, and very helpful. Nothing to complain about, I highly recommend him. We'll be back soon....

05/09/2025: Every time I return to Modica, I can't resist: dinner at La Sirenetta is a must! 🐟🍕 Fresh fish that smells of the sea, super tasty and light pizza, all accompanied by consistently friendly and warm service. 💙 A mix of quality, tradition, and hospitality that makes you feel right at home... but with a special touch. 🌊✨ The pizza with fresh tuna is highly recommended, as are all the fish dishes; the raw fish is amazing!
