14/11/2024: We only used the sunbeds and an umbrella (20 euros for 2 sunbeds + umbrella) and drinks. Overall, I recommend a clean beach, good drinks, the only minus is the pushy sellers walking on the beach, literally every 5 minutes someone came up and suggested buying glasses, JBL, towels, jewelry or massage... it really disturbs your relaxation, especially since you have to pay dearly for entry... in my opinion, the owners should sort it out, the next day we went to the public beach and it was 80% lower there fewer sellers...

05/01/2025: Di ritorno verso casa ci siamo fermati, a pranzo, in questo locale. Non c'era nessuno e, inizialmente, abbiamo temuto di trovarci male ma non è stato così. Abbiamo preso solo delle panelle e due primi ma sono stati ottimi, sia i caserecci con le triglie e il finocchietto che i paccheri alla norma. Pasta fresca con ingredienti preparati sul momento e dall'ottimo sapore. Credo che la gestione sia di due ragazzi giovani (chi ci ha servito sicuramente) e sono contento che sia così. Bravi

06/01/2025: We ate at Pizza Planet on our first day in Sicily, and they set the bar pretty high for pizza and caprese salad! Beautiful crust on the pizza with a great balance of ingredients, and the presentation of the salad was stunning. A lovely family owned restaurant, we were served by the owner who is continuing a family tradition brilliantly. Highly recommend.

All the staff were really nice and very kind, very attentive and courteous.. We ate an excellent mussel pepper And the octopus salad with Tropea onions, then a first course with a mouth-watering sauce! The coffee was super! Nowadays even drinking a good coffee is rare... 05/01/2025: Wonderful restaurant, and in the summer, as I did, I booked on the beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view of the entire gulf.. I took a long time to write this review, but it deserves so much that I didn't write it.. Anyway, in addition to the beautiful location, what can I say about the exquisite and attentive staff .. For example, being celiac, I need extra attention and without a doubt there was... Very attentive to Gluten free, they have pasta and bread and even desserts.. All really excellent

01/02/2025: We found ourselves in Castroreale by chance, and after a short tour to admire the beauty of the place, and feeling a bit peckish, also given the time, we entered the Al Duomo restaurant, where we were welcomed by the restaurateur like old friends, and had a wonderful lunch. , with 0 km products. Even our dog was welcomed kindly, so what can I say? We will be back and soon too.

01/02/2025: A SPECIAL DAY ... you go out for an aimless walk and you find yourself in one of those Sicilian villages that the whole world envies us. I had never been to Castroreale, a village just a handful of kilometers from Messina overlooking the Gulf of Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands. Among Norman towers and the inevitable castle built under the rule of Frederick II, we stop to eat at the Duomo restaurant, formerly home to the nobles' club. Between cheeses, jams, Nebrodi cured meats and a spaghetti with pistachio pesto we start talking to the owner, a returning Italian-Argentinian: born and raised in Argentina he decided to bet and invest here in Sicily. What can I say other than to go and try. Good food and good wine.

23/02/2025: We have frequented La Forchetta del Castello several times over the years, always on weekdays, and we have always appreciated the generous portions, the excellent quality of the food and the attentive and helpful service. Unfortunately, today's experience, a Sunday, was not up to the previous ones. While on the one hand a little more chaos on public holidays is understandable, on the other hand we did not expect such a clear drop in service. The portions were smaller than usual (although still within the norm) and the quality of the food remained excellent, but the real problem was the very poor service. There were only inexperienced kids in the room, visibly confused among the tables, making the experience less pleasant than usual. In summary, La Forchetta del Castello remains a quality restaurant, but the management of service on the busiest days should be improved to maintain the standard that has always convinced us. We hope it was just an episode and that we will rediscover the excellence we knew in future visits.

27/01/2025: I returned after many years to eat in this place, I admit that they never disappoint, excellent cuisine handed down by Mr. Mario to the new staff, excellent service, and what can I say. After a good Sunday lunch, ending with a pleasant walk to the castle of Santa Lucia del Mela with a view of the Gulf of Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands... I will return to taste their cuisine and spend another beautiful day in company. Thanks see you next time!!! I recommend it to everyone
