23/08/2025: I was only passing through and the gentlemen, I don't know what family they belong to, think that the beach is all theirs without knowing the laws and not knowing that I can stay and if I also want to put my towel, my bag and take a bath, I'm on holiday I want to enjoy my holiday and the gentlemen came to harass me to send me away 😡 from that beach where I didn't want to buy the sunbed because we were only supposed to stay 10 minutes but the gentlemen, thinking that they also own the PUBLIC PROPERTY, wanted to send me away, something truly absurd, 😡

15/08/2025: Le terrazze del Santa Lucía fa parte del ristorante omonimo, ma sotto forma di bar. Anch’esso costoso, ma vale la pena sorseggiare un buon caffè affacciati totalmente sul mare, vedendo le onde infrangersi sugli scogli. I momenti migliori per andarci a parer mio sono la mattina per la colazione e al tramonto per un buon aperitivo. Varietà di prodotti, granite, cioccolate, frullati artigianali, tantissimi gusti di gelato. È anche consigliata la parte della pasticceria, che offre grande varietà di pasticcini, in particolare i cannoli al cioccolato o ancora di più al pistacchio.

26/08/2025: A beautiful place, without a doubt; with a large area where you can eat outside and enjoy the atmosphere, and why not, a gentle breeze that occasionally blows through. Moving on to the food, the fish starters are good, and I'm sure the meat ones are, too (perhaps the speck in one of the two dishes was just a little too brown). The prices don't dampen your appetite, which is instead satisfied by the generous portions! Courtesy and attentiveness complement the attentive service. Overall, a high rating and the idea of ​​returning, or even a recommendation, to stop at "La Vecchia Posta" conclude this review.

24/08/2025: We'd read great reviews, and instead... The view of the cathedral was beautiful, yes. The granitas were passable, but they only had two flavors, which is unbelievable for a bar like that in August in the province of Messina. The service was terrible. We were "served" by a listless and uninformed Neapolitan waiter. Then another waiter, also Neapolitan, who was kinder, tried to make up for the previous waiter's mistakes. Suddenly, instead of feeling like we were on the Peloritani, we felt like we'd been catapulted to Ischia. We probably won't be back.

18/08/2025: We dined at this restaurant overlooking the cathedral square in Castroreale. The food was tasty, authentic, and delicious, in the best Sicilian tradition. Diego, the owner, was truly attentive and friendly, as were his staff. The location was romantic and evocative, a natural film set. A journey back in time that I highly recommend to everyone!

06/09/2025: This was the best pizza I ever had in my entire life (Mongibello)! Also, the linguine with seafood were so fresh and good, I was shocked. Everything was cooked to perfection! We will be coming again.

25/08/2025: Flamingo both the lido and the restaurant are terrific. We've had lunch and dinner several times over the years and it has been perfect. The beach is great, water clean, changing areas and bathrooms very maintained. I would recommend to anyone. Also, the bar staff is amazing! You can get pizza right at your chair! We hope to continue coming for years.

06/09/2025: A touristy place, the quality is adequate for a passing clientele, definitely worth a visit for the panoramic view, which is worth the visit. The service was a bit distracted, and unfortunately, we were served chipped and poorly cleaned plates before the dishes were served.

09/07/2025: Gorgeous location! We dined on the terrace, poolside, with a breathtaking sunset view. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and available to accommodate all our needs and requests. Excellent focaccia, fabulous seafood. Normal wait times. But above all, the owner was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly kind! We'll definitely be back!

03/07/2025: Sono stato in questo Ristorante, dopo anni che non venivo in Sicilia e conoscendo il posto perché ci venivo regolarmente e sono sempre stato soddisfatto, ci ha fatto anche il ricevimento di nozze mia nipote. Purtroppo devo dire, a parte che c’era una festa di compleanno con molti invitati, siamo rimasti male sia per il servizio, completamente assente, eravamo in 3 in un piccolo tavolino proprio a ridosso del festeggiato. Detto questo ordiniamo una bottiglia di vino rosso e un the freddo per mio figlio. Passiamo alla cucina una cosa che nelle peggior trattorie non si mangia così, Mio figlio ha preso una pizza tonno e cipolle di scarsa qualità, io e mia moglie due tris di affumicati, a parte l’inpiantamento, su un piattino e con salmone tonno e spada uno sopra l’altro, neanche separati per gusto e di qualità molto scadente e salatissimi. Passiamo ai secondi io ho preso pesce spada all’eoliana niente di eccezionale, metà lasciato e mia moglie una tagliata di tonno con quattro foglie di rucola e del parmigiano sbriciolato, ma il tonno era talmente salato che era immangiabile che praticamente e rimasto nel piatto. Nessuno che si preoccupava di passare e chiedere almeno se andava bene. Dopo una mezz’oretta che avevamo finito e lasciato sul piatto la maggior parte del mangiare e nessuno si è degnato di sparecchiare la tavola e con mio figlio che voleva ancora un the, ma nessuno si avvicinava al tavolo, sembravamo dei fantasmi, al che ho trovato la prima cameriera e gli ho chiesto il conto con ancora tutto sul tavolo. Poi al momento di pagare ho fatto le mie rimostranze al proprietario che per sua discolpa a detto, “poteva chiamare il cameriere” ma erano così presi che ci passavano davanti anche chiamando e gesticolando che non ci sentivano. In conclusione bruttissima esperienza.

23/06/2025: Lovely place all lit up very helpful and kind staff. The complete menu and perhaps too abundant given the 7 appetizers, 2 pastas, mixed grill and dessert. I recommend it if you are in the Capo d'Orlando area.

Excellent courses, an endless array of appetizers of products from typical Nebrodi recipes, encores of tasty and well-seasoned first courses, grilled mixed meat that is very tender as well as of excellent quality. To finish, sorbet, small cannoli and limoncello... what can I say?! I definitely recommend trying it

03/06/2025: Really a great experience. The waitress was very good and efficient, the food was good and the prices were fair. The only flaw was that it was scorching hot and even though we asked for the air conditioning to be turned on, there were no improvements. But it's a small flaw, we had a great time.
