30/10/2025: Sandwiches served cold, it looked like they had been put in the fridge the day before, frozen mozzarella, bacon smelled bad, inside the place there was a strong smell of cigarettes and cigars, it was like being in the neighborhood arcade, poorly maintained environment, poor quality food, a piece of advice, don't smoke in there and don't let the sandwiches smoke, do it at the moment,

19/08/2025: We had a calzone and a pizza. I have to say, it was really good. It was light and the toppings were excellent, but we waited over an hour, even though there weren't many people. We were tempted to leave. I don't know if there was a temporary problem or if it was just poor organization, but I have to say it was worth it.

09/11/2025: First time in Catania. First time eating horse meat. First time at Polpetteria. It was recommended to me. It's located on a very charming pedestrian street with plenty of restaurants. The meat was excellent. The appetizer was exceptional. The wine selection was extensive. Must try!

11/10/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ A total disaster. Order rejected, evening ruined. Order scheduled for 9:45 PM. After more than an hour's delay, at 11:00 PM, they finally showed up—without a call, without an apology, without the slightest respect. But by then it was too late: order rejected and sent back. Simply unacceptable service. We tried contacting them several times: no concrete response, just vague statements or silences. A sloppy management style that has nothing to do with professionalism. In an industry where punctuality and communication are essential, everything is lacking here. If you want to eat at a decent hour or simply not be ridiculed, do yourself a favor: avoid this pizzeria. Never again.

02/09/2025: I called the pizzeria and ordered two pizzas for 9pm, but when I arrived at the place at that time, the pizzeria was closed. I can't understand why they responded by saying yes.

18/08/2025: One of the best takeout pizzerias (they also have tables for dining in). Excellent, easy-to-digest dough... plus, they use top-quality, always fresh ingredients. Tiziana and Fabio, the owners, are super friendly, helpful, and capable! A 10!

28/09/2025: Zucchini and tuna pizza: Four slices of zucchini and perhaps the equivalent of half a can of canned tuna, a new jaw to chew on a crust that resembles a car tire, and the next morning still to digest with accompanying heartburn. I thought it had gone badly the last time I was there, but this time, it's exactly like that. What a shame, the Mamadina of old is gone, a real shame.

08/11/2025: I ordered two burgers to go, and unfortunately, both were a bit undercooked. My partner didn't mind, but I'd prefer them to be cooked more thoroughly. A little clarification when ordering would have been helpful. In the end, I had to cook the burger at home, and the fries got cold. An experience that, hopefully, will improve in the future.

19/10/2025: I've often gotten takeout pizzas, and overall, they're good. I recommend not ordering on Saturdays because: delivery time missed, about 45 minutes late, the pizza arrived with burnt edges and about 8-10 cm of the edge missing toppings, and insufficient ingredients, e.g. (Pizza with non-existent raw ham, only two small flaps that didn't even cover 30/100 of the pizza itself). I paid €20 for the pizza, family, but it wasn't even worth €10. My advice to managers: when orders exceed delivery, it's better to say "No" than to lose customers. I'm sorry about SANTO, but I hope this criticism is constructive.

18/07/2025: We stayed in San Nicolo for 2 month and we we came to this bakery almost every day for fresh bread, pizza or arancino. Everything is very fresh and the stuff is friendly.

08/11/2025: I ordered two pizzas at 7:00 PM for 9:00 PM, and was told "there might be a delay." That's understandable, so I replied, "That's fine." At 9:35 PM, I called back to check on the pizzas and was told they didn't know when they'd arrive, but it would at least take 20 minutes. I won't comment on the pizzeria's reliability, as it speaks for itself. A delay of 15 minutes might be a delay, but 55 minutes, which could be more, isn't a delay, it's a lack of reliability. I'm grateful, of course, because finding a pizzeria at 9:35 PM on a Saturday is complicated. It would have been enough to immediately tell them that delivery wouldn't be possible before 10:00 PM, and I would have chosen something else.
