14/09/2025: For me the best Tiramisu I had in Catania. Also the lemon cake was amazing & warm!! I loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the family who runs the restaurant. A really special and homely place (among so many touristic non-personal restaurants). I will definitely come back. If you’re looking for a warm, homely, authentic place with kind people, this is it. :)

26/07/2025: Sono stata con la mia famiglia, da tre mesi hanno ristrutturato e cambiato gestione, ci siamo trovati molto bene ed il cibo e la pizza ottima! Gli ambienti puliti ed il personale genitile ! Grazie ritorneremo presto

28/06/2025: Intrigued by the presence of a vegetarian and vegan pizza section, I decided to try this pizzeria's section during their Thursday promotion, where classic pizzas cost €5 and specialty pizzas €7. Once they arrived, I sadly noticed that these pizzas, the vegetarian and vegan ones, weren't included in the promotion (because they don't fall under the "specialty" category, I assume). But why categorize pizzas that, aside from the addition of plant-based cheeses (available only on some, or upon request), are simply vegetable pizzas? What's the difference between these and a green calzone (which is among the classic pizzas) and among the many others on the menu in the classic and specialty sections? The "vegetarian" pizza itself isn't included in this separate list, but it is among the classic pizzas (and is included in the promotion). It's clear that the "vegetarian/vegan" section was created for marketing reasons (and indeed, it worked: I was the first to order!), but that's precisely the problem. If you choose to promote yourself as a place that caters to plant-based diets (with a dedicated page for green options), excluding these pizzas from the weekly specials makes them "other," "different," and not an integral part of the menu. This penalizes those who make a different ethical or dietary choice, and betrays the spirit of inclusivity that a vegetarian section should represent. My criticism, therefore, isn't so much about the lack of transparency—indeed, if you look at the section title alone, it's right that vegetarian pizzas aren't promoted—but rather the very choice behind it. A truly vegetarian-friendly menu shouldn't be limited to a label, but should be fully integrated into the rest of the offerings, including promotions, without categorizing them separately as "other." Again, these same pizzas could easily have been included in the traditional menu sections (with a possible surcharge for plant-based cheeses, if requested). I write all this with regret, because the pizza was good, and I would definitely have ordered it again in the future, had I not felt excluded rather than included. The goal of a plant-friendly menu should be to encourage the consumption of plant-based products even among non-vegetarians/vegans, but this isn't the case and, in fact, it discourages it.

23/06/2025: I ordered two pizzas on Just Eat. One called for fried zucchini, but it came with roasted zucchini. The other called for buffalo mozzarella, but the cheese was grainy and didn't taste like buffalo. To top it all off, a hair stuck in the mozzarella. The only positives were the speed of delivery and the friendliness of the delivery man.

01/08/2025: Die Pizzeria befindet sich in einer Nebenstraße der "Luxus Shopping Meile" von Catania. Wir sind zufällig darauf gestoßen und haben sofort einen Platz bekommen. Die Verständigung mit den Bedingungen hat sich als schwierig gestattet, da nur wenig und sehr gebrochen Englisch gesprochen wurde. Die Pizzeria scheint jedoch unter den Einheimischen sehr beliebt zu sein, da ständig Essen abgeholt wurde. Unsere Pizzen waren sehr lecker und für Catania äußerst Preiswert.

26/07/2025: Sono stato in questa pizzeria per cenare con la mia famiglia. Abbiamo ordinato come antipasto delle montanarine, molto buone, e delle pizze con impasto napoletano ottime. Penso sia una delle migliori pizzerie di Catania. Prezzo- qualita in linea con il mercato.

30/06/2025: Personale cordiale, ma importante fregatura nella proposta del gestore di un antipasto misto che abbiamo pagato come singole portate ( 70 €) . Totale conto € 150 per 2 persone più una pizza.

29/06/2025: Partiamo dai piccoli accorgimenti arrivando alle poche ma grandi lacune che portano il mio voto da 4, se avessi mangiato bene, a 1 stella. Partiamo dal non aver chiesto di fare lo spelling del semplice cognome durante la prenotazione telefonica l, perché durante la serata chi è venuto dopo, pur dando il cognome corretto, e ripetuto più volte lentamente, la risposta è sempre stata “no mi spiace non lo trovo”. Era scritto male e con una grafia illeggibile. L’ho trovato io nel suo foglio… Ma andiamo avanti… Abbiamo ordinato quasi subito con la sala piena e chi ha preso le ordinazioni ha accolto delle modifiche anche dopo aver inviato la comanda senza battere ciglio. TOP! Il vino è arrivato subito e anche piuttosto freddo ma ho iniziato a mangiare dopo ben 40 min. Almeno mi portavano due patatine e mi passava per aperitivo. Acqua e bibite a temperatura ambiente, in sala esterna ci saranno stati 30/31 gradi quindi sicuramente da rivedere tempi e modalità di refilling del frigo bevande. Una Coca-Cola è arrivata direttamente dal centro distribuzione bevande dalla zona industriale… 25 min per una Coca-Cola anch’essa calda… Andiamo alle grandi lacune: 1. Eravamo un tavolo non troppo grande ma servire gli antipasti e le pizze a mezzo tavolo e l’altro mezzo riceve dopo 30 min antipasti e secondi insieme… beh i tempi delle cucine, per quanto separate, devono e ripeto devono essere sincronizzate o comunque non di 30 min. Non si possono guardare commensali che mangiano, terminano, e digeriscono e io ancora devo attendere l’antipasto, che per dovere di cronaca non prevedeva cottura. 2. Non sono un esperto in merito alla freschezza del pesce ma dato il posto sicuramente lo era ma il sapore del risotto alla pescatore era coperto dal burro o comunque da un grasso vegetale ed era davvero sgradevole. 3.Pressing al tavolo un po’ troppo eccessivo. Nemmeno avevo finito e una signora mi chiede “posso?”… be direi di no. Le posate sono posizionate in modo tale da far capire al cameriere che non avevo terminato… non si può più mangiare con calma che pur di fare cassa ti spingono nel completare il piatto davanti e far sedere il prossimo turno! E questo locale non è un fast food… 4. andiamo ai prezzi: alcune pietanze direi allineate al mercato e all’altezza del locale, ma 10 euro per una pizza Biancaneve e 2 euro l’aggiunta, forse anche no! Non ricordo bene ma 10 o 12 euro una fettina di pollo panata al forno dura e secca che mia figlia mi ha detto: “no papi è dura…”. Ok i 10 euro ma mannaggia a voi almeno che sia cotta bene… 5. Forse un po’ di mancanza di trasparenza per quanto è fuori menù… chiedere sempre al cliente se vuole sapere il costo del piatto fuori menù prima di confermarlo, sarà poi lui a dirvi se vuole saperlo o fa Gates di cognome e non bada a spese 6. Un po’ border Line ma in un locale di questo livello secondo me è una grande pecca. Non c’è un fasciatoio!!!! Cioè ok in bagno avete il mobilio scuro e figo ma andare all’ikea ne comprate uno in noce, di quelli che si aprono e chiudono a filo parete, molto elegante, e lo fate dipingere nero. Semplice ma forse per voi NO.

13/05/2025: I was there for a wedding, the staff were kind, the exterior of the villa was well-kept, I give two stars less only because we had lunch inside a veranda with the air conditioning obviously turned off, it was very hot, plus the ice machine was broken and drinks were at room temperature

08/07/2025: Det var på min morgenløbetur jeg fandt denne lille oase af dejlig autentisk og meget lækker spisested gemt bag citron marker. Vi spiste her to aftener og maden var lækker og hjemmelavet , priserne gode og steder var så roligt og personalet nærværende . Dette sted giver følelsen af at have oplevet af være blandt Siciliens lokale , hvor familie mødes og hygger . Mine teenagerbørn var lige så vilde med stedet. Næste gang må vi også overnatte her.

29/06/2025: Egoístamente no quiero correr la voz sobre este restaurante demasiado ampliamente porque tiene que ser una de las joyas culinarias de Catania. Las repetidas visitas han confirmado que Luciano y su hijo Piero saben exactamente lo que están haciendo para proporcionar mariscos frescos, pasta excelente y cualquier tipo de entradas a una clientela en gran medida local. La relación calidad-precio es excepcional, desde la comida hasta la bebida, y hay una carta de vinos decente. Es evidente que se trata de un restaurante de barrio, y aunque ese barrio –cerca de la estación de tren– podría no parecer demasiado salubre, sería negligente no comer aquí. Catania tiene tantos buenos lugares para comer, pero aun así esto es un punto destacado.

18/05/2025: La comida es realmente genial, el antipasto de marisco para compartir es muy fresco y abundante, el espagueti vongole es muy sabroso y las almejas son grandes. La casa se levantó del barril complementó muy bien los platos locales. También ofrecieron un licor complementario y galletas para bañarse para terminar el banquete. Totalmente feliz experiencia.

25/04/2025: Pessimi alimenti. Sugo della pizza crudo, il prosciutto puzzava e i ravioli con il guanciale puzzavano anche di avariato. Sconsigliatissimo. La pizza è meglio quella fatta in casa. Pessima esperienza

05/04/2025: Una pizza davvero ottima! Ingredienti di prima qualità, digeribilissima e con vera mozzarella! Se a questo aggiungiamo la gentilezza del personale allora è sicuramente un posto senza fronzoli ma di sostanza dove ritornare. Complimenti ancora e grazie mille!

15/10/2025: This is my second time there, and it didn't disappoint. The desserts were delicious and fragrant! I enjoyed a cruffin, a mix between a muffin and a croissant, with cream and salted caramel. It was pure poetry!
