We ate a really good pizza, a good cheesecake with both Nutella and pistachio... in a quiet environment, friendly staff. I recommend it to anyone who loves Neapolitan pizza.

what a great find! True Naples pizza right here in our neighborhood! The atmosphere was great, very nouveau and comfortable. volume level on the patio was perfect for conversation, even though the patio was quite busy. service was good and they catered to a special request (a side of cold tomato sauce for my fried pizza) without any issue whatsoever. For those not from here, am observation, this is TRUE Southern Italian dining: they bring your drinks and food and leave you to your dinner! If you need something, you have to wave someone over. This is not what you may be used to, but you will find a lot of local services run like this (give the guests their privacy) so it is not impolite for you to raise a hand. They are watching for it, even with 2 servers on the floor on a relatively busy night, if we raised a hand they were there. The only reason my rating is a 3 star for service is there was an obvious tourist 2 tables over who felt (by the look on his face and the constant glances at his watch) it was taking too long (AGAIN, IF YOU COME TO SOUTH ITALY generally food comes out as it's ready (including possibly only part of a table's order.... DON'T PANIC! This is normal here.... Stay Calm!) if it's not ready it doesn't come out, they don't have big corporate kitchens here. However I feel as members of the service industry, someone would have noticed him and addressed it to calm him and assure him he wasn't forgotten (different things cook at different times, maybe yours takes longer or, maybe you ordered something that's 9 minutes to cook back home, but here it's handcut/handmade and takes 2 or 3 times longer and it's made in a kitchen that is less than a quarter of the size so, if they're busy: Even longer. And a lot of people from certain areas believe they deserve everything they want). Again, this is my humble opinion (as a server) maybe I shouldn't have penalized a star - which is why I'm writing a long-winded explanation, so you can make your own decision). All in all, if you're looking for amazing AUTHENTIC pizza at reasonable prices do not miss this place!

We stopped at Don Ciro during our road trip in Puglia. A pleasant discovery! We had dinner with our friends and enjoyed an evening with excellent table service pizza. The atmosphere was comfortable, the waiters were friendly, and the pizzas were exceptional. The dough, the toppings, and the selection were vast. Excellent, we definitely recommend it!

We went to Don Ciro, and the pizza dough was absolutely delicious. The Nutella cheesecake was also very good, truly exquisite, and the tiramisu was good, although I personally didn't like the choice of liqueur. The place is cute, and the staff was decent, just the right amount of friendly. Unfortunately, the toppings on some of the pizzas were a downer. We had a "Malafemmina," but the basil pesto was decidedly too bitter/acidic; we had to scrape it off to eat it. Fortunately, we shared a "Don Ciro" pizza, which was much tastier and more balanced. Overall, the experience was decent thanks to the excellent pizza base and desserts, but the attention to detail in the toppings would make it even better.
