23/11/2025: It was a truly positive experience. I had the opportunity to try several dishes and found them all excellent. The owner was very helpful, and the meatballs in tomato sauce and the pizzas deserve a special mention.

23/11/2025: Well, I have to say it right away: La Ruota in Copertino is the TOP. We're not talking about "eating well," we eat WELL here, with a capital W! We've been coming back for lunch and dinner for three days now, and every time is a confirmation. The service is impeccable, guys. Fast, attentive, kind... kudos to the entire staff. They leave you wanting for nothing. Then, the food: The shrimp risotto? Amazing, creamy, and flavorful. I swear, it's a spectacle. The fried fish? Dry, crispy, and incredibly light. If you're in the area and want to eat fresh fish cooked to perfection, this is the place. Well done, well done, well done. See you soon!

12/11/2025: A place that can only be described as "family-friendly," from the appetizer, through everyone's kindness, to the bill. Delicious dishes, cooked with a passion for tradition that shines through, but above all, without the pretension of having to prove anything. The restaurant's 34 years of business speak volumes. The panna cotta and donuts are world-class. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a detour.

14/09/2025: We arrived in Puglia yesterday and were hungry. Restaurants here naturally open later than in Germany. Calogero opens as early as 7:00 PM, and the reviews were very good. Absolutely right. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation. If you're looking for a sea view, you've obviously come to the wrong place. But the food is excellent. We had Scottish beef tagliata, grilled and fried vegetables, a pizza, wine, water, a sorbet, and espressos. All of the finest quality. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. The place is welcoming, the pizzas and dishes are prepared with quality ingredients, and you can taste the care put into the kitchen... but what really made the difference was the service. Special thanks go to Maria, a kind, smiling, and extremely efficient waitress. Even though the place was packed, she managed to look after us attentively, offering the best advice and making us feel truly pampered. Her professionalism and her approach elevated the entire experience. 23/09/2025: A casual spot near the Castro Marina beach. Excellent food, well-served. I had the puccia with fried octopus, which was spectacular! The puccia is made fresh by them and stays crispy throughout the meal...truly sublime!
