30/03/2025: The “Gallo Nero”…a historic Monopoli restaurant after its renovation was a discovery for me. The stone location is beautiful, the pizza in my opinion is very good, excellent value for money. The outdoor atrium is ideal for summer evenings. I will return, without a doubt!

29/03/2025: A great place to eat. Reasonable prices. A place with a wonderful atmosphere, both the interior of the old Italian tenement house and the garden are amazing. The service is amazing, the lady is very nice, speaks English fluently, she explains and advises everything willingly. The food is so good that we ate here the two days we were in Monopoly. The pasta and fried beef are delicious.

04/01/2025: Se hai fretta, scappa! Questa pizzeria è perfetta se vuoi vivere un'esperienza gastronomica... al rallentatore. Le pizze? molto buone, ma preparati: potresti invecchiare nell'attesa. Ho avuto il tempo di imparare a giocare al solitario e a tetris e ripensare a tutte le mie scelte di vita prima che la pizza arrivasse. Ho iniziato a pensare che forse stessero coltivando il grano e mungendo la mozzarella direttamente in cucina. Morale della storia: se sei un monaco buddista o hai portato il letto pieghevole, vai pure. Perché la pizza é buona ma se hai fame, portati uno snack per l'attesa.

08/02/2025: Great pizzas and other items and very friendly staff. The owner speaks both Italian and English, lived in NYC (hence the name Big Apple), and it’s walking distance from the piazza. Definitely give this place a try!

09/03/2025: We ate on site, booking in advance and were immediately seated at the scheduled time without waiting. The place is rustic, the staff friendly. The waiting times following the order are short but above all the pizza is delicious, an excellent dough!

01/03/2025: Small and monotonous environment. Slow and annoyed service. It's not possible that 4 pizzas take 1 hour and a quarter.

27/12/2024: Review referring to the pizzeria. At times embarrassing location in perfect 70s style but that's the beauty of this place. The pizza dough is really tasty and fragrant. The proposed bruschettas are of the same height. Maybe it's thanks to the wood-fired oven or the skill of the pizza chef, the fact is that this is a place where you literally feel at home and spend the right amount for an evening with friends. Gourmet is fine but every now and then home-made food is fine!

17/03/2025: As usual, eating pizza, and more, is always an exciting experience here. Here every prototype of a commercial pizzeria is destroyed because there is nothing commercial here, every product is sought after from grains to oil to cured meats enjoying a pizza, and not only that, means not having that feeling of indigestibility or enjoying a pizza at 8pm and still not having digested it at 11pm. And then you should come just for the friendliness that you breathe here and to admire the PIZZA MAKER who is the true queen of this place, a woman behind all this flavour, the one who puts into practice the effort of researching the products that are consumed here. As you can see, this review of mine is all about quality because the tastes are up to each of us to freely choose, even if the new Cruschi peppers are really good for us. Well congratulations again....and see you next time

17/03/2025: Come al solito mangiare la pizza, e non solo, qui è sempre un' esperienza emozionante. Qui viene distrutto ogni prototipo di pizzeria commerciale perché qui di commerciale non c'è nulla ogni prodotto è ricercato dai grani all'olio ai salumi gustare un pizza ,e non solo, significa non avere quel senso di indigesto oppure gustare una pizza alle 20:00 e non averla digerita ancora alle 23:00. E poi bisognerebbe venire solo x la simpatia che si respira qui e per ammirare la PIZZAIOLA che è la vera regina di questo posto, si una donna dietro a tutto questo sapore colei che concretizza lo sforzo della ricerca dei prodotti che si consumano qui. Come vedete questa mia recensione è tutta improntata sulla qualità perché poi i gusti sono a libera scelta di ognuno di noi , anche sé i peperoni cruschi come novità ci stanno proprio bene. 22/03/2025: Sabato sera. Nonostante il nostro arrivo puntuali alle 20.30, siamo riusciti a ordinare solamente dopo tre quarti d’ora, dopo aver richiesto più volte le attenzioni dei camerieri. In sostanza, una volta seduti, siamo stati totalmente ignorati. Dopo un’ulteriore attesa di circa 1 ora e mezza, sono arrivate 5 pizze su 6 ordinate, quindi un commensale ha dovuto attendere ancora mentre gli altri mangiavano. Pizze a nostro parere di media qualità. La cosa incredibile è che, al momento della prenotazione, si sono fortemente raccomandati di essere puntuali. Pazienza, non è andata come speravamo e non mi sento di consigliarlo ad altri.

23/02/2025: Prima volta per noi. Abbiamo scelto il secondo turno , pizza senza glutine e normale davvero eccellente . Il proprietario, una persona simpaticissima che viene al tavolo ad accertarsi che tutto vada bene . Unico neo , la calca al cambio turno , troppa gente in attesa che i tavoli del primo turno vengano liberati. Ci siamo comunque seduti alle 21:45 , orario scelto 21:30 e devo dire che l ordine è stato preso velocemente e non abbiamo aspettato più di tanto. Merito dell' organizzazione, situazione non semplice da gestire e bravi i ragazzi , molto educati e veloci. Torneremo in settimana.

18/01/2025: Locale situato in una zona periferica di Rutigliano, la pizza è ottima in tutte le sue versione, impasto altamente digeribile e molto variegata la scelta dei condimenti, assolutamente da provare.

18/03/2025: I was there a few nights ago, for dinner. I ate fried panzerotti with various fillings, really excellent. Thin and fragrant pastry. Chips with cacio e pepe sauce, excellent. Super fantastic pizza. I also recommend it for the price

11/04/2025: Even though my friend and I had booked, we waited over an hour to order. I'll have a marinara. From the 3.50 on the menu on the bill they mark it down to 5 euros. Another 6 euros then for a disgusting cheesecake (really the worst of my life) and on top of that very poor service. The only positive note was the pizza. Good, not amazing. Overall a place not to return to
