12/09/2025: I don't know what reviewers usually eat, but the pizza I ate had very low-quality tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella that only reminded me of buffalo in a postcard from a visit to Caserta in the '80s, four pieces of sausage, and a Neapolitan dough that would get you banned if you even serve it in Campania because it was so thin and soggy. I sat down at 9:30 PM, and the pizzas arrived at 10:40 PM (they must have been made in Naples to take so long). I'll limit myself to this because it would be incredibly long, and I've already spent too much time on an inedible pizza. If you like bad food, this is the place to go.

07/09/2025: We had the pizza, which was very good. You can only choose whole wheat dough for the Bari pizza (thin crust). Otherwise, you can choose the Neapolitan pizza with a thick crust.

07/09/2025: An excellent location for a dinner with friends, an intimate dinner, or a business dinner. The welcome is warm and the service is prompt.

26/08/2025: Went for dinner in the evening. Nice atmosphere. Service was completely lacking; it took 20 minutes to get a menu. We had to chase the waiters. I ordered fillet, but the meat was thinly sliced, completely inedible and sour. An experience I definitely won't repeat. Prices were out of proportion to the service and quality of the food (e.g., low-quality frozen fries).

26/05/2025: The place saved me and my guests on a Saturday night when we couldn't find a place to eat pizza. The quality of the food is excellent and the selection of pizzas was also very interesting. The staff is very kind and friendly without being intrusive. The desserts are also good, especially the pastiera. I will definitely return.

25/06/2025: We went to this pizzeria attracted by the positive reviews and I must say that the pizza lived up to expectations: light dough, well leavened and quality ingredients. The wood-fired oven really makes the difference! The only downside: the appetizers are counted per person, even if it is a shared dish. It had not been specified to us in advance, and in the end the bill was a little higher than expected. Overall, an excellent experience for those looking for a well-made pizza, but I recommend asking for clarification on appetizers and covers to avoid surprises.

16/07/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance on a Saturday evening, and since it was dinner time, we wandered over to this pizzeria, set in a rustic and welcoming home. The staff was friendly and eager to find a table for two... in short, we ordered and had dinner within an hour... the pizza? Normal, good: Recommended.

06/08/2025: I loved it! With our vacation almost over and before returning to Sicily, I wanted to plan a surprise romantic dinner for my wife. Based on online research and recommendations from colleagues in Bari, I chose this restaurant/pizzeria. The main reason for this choice was the "SPAGHETTI ALL'ASSASSINA," which was truly SPECTACULAR!! After the spaghetti, in keeping with Apulian tradition, we ordered the classic "TIELLA BARESE," which was REALLY GOOD, made fresh and PRACTICALLY PERFECT! To finish, we tried a slice of bread with (very fresh) GRILLED OCTOPUS, which was REALLY DELICIOUS!! THE BILL (except for the octopus...) was not salty and proportionate to the dishes ordered. END RESULT: My wife asked to meet the chef to plan her third wedding... 😅😂😂

30/07/2025: I had dinner a few Saturdays ago with my family. The service was good, the pizza was good, and the spaghetti all'assasina was good, but as they say in Bari, "they didn't give much." Given the price, I'd recommend increasing the portion of spaghetti a bit. 🍝😋 Recommended. I'll be back.

08/07/2025: Unfortunately, I have to say that in Bitritto, at least at this pizzeria, they haven't quite figured out what it means to make a real pizza. Aside from the rudeness of the staff—which certainly doesn't make you want to return—I was truly disappointed by the quality of the dough. The pizza is made with a tool, not by the expert hands of the pizza chef, and it shows. The dough is heavy, hard to digest, and completely lacks proper leavening. I didn't even manage to finish it... and for someone like me who loves pizza, that says it all.

29/07/2025: Una pizza di maleducazione, farcita con spocchia e cotta nell’incompetenza Arriviamo, ordiniamo, aspettiamo. Fin qui tutto nella (lenta) norma. Ma quando, dopo mezz’ora, arrivano le pizze… ne manca una. Faccio subito presente alla cameriera che ce n’è una in meno. Mi dice che la fa arrivare. Bene. Torno al tavolo. Passano altri 10 minuti, e arriva un’altra cameriera – visibilmente infastidita come se le avessimo rovinato il turno – che ci scarica addosso un “potevate dirlo che mancava una pizza”. Gentilmente le faccio presente che lo avevamo già detto, ma all’altra cameriera. Risposta? “Dovevate dirlo a me”. Certo. D’ora in poi porterò con me un organigramma del locale, così so a chi rivolgermi in base alla gerarchia del disservizio. Parte un battibecco. Lei delirante: “Tutti i clienti mi amano”, seguita da un’accusa grottesca: “Lei si sta atteggiando”, e poi il gran finale: “Se non le sta bene vada in un’altra pizzeria”. Una risposta che grida “manuale dell’anti-ristorazione”, capitolo 1: come perdere clienti in 10 secondi. Le faccio notare (con fermezza, lo ammetto) che non sa lavorare e che il suo atteggiamento è maleducato, arrogante e fuori luogo. Alla cassa espongo la situazione alla titolare, che si scusa e promette provvedimenti. Bene, penso. Peccato che a fine serata, quando paghiamo, la stessa titolare ci liquida senza nemmeno un “buonasera” o un “arrivederci”. Riassunto dell’esperienza: – Servizio lento e disorganizzato – Staff spocchioso e maleducato – Nessun senso di responsabilità – Zero cultura dell’accoglienza – Titolare assente (di spirito, anche quando è presente di persona) Un consiglio? Se volete mangiare una pizza senza dovervi sorbire lezioni di narcisismo da camerieri convinti di essere in un reality show… cambiate strada. Io sicuramente non ci metterò mai più piede. E a chi “tutti i clienti la amano”: be’, ora ne ha perso almeno uno.
