Lately, I've always found pizza with very dry, thin dough, and very little sauce and even less mozzarella. I hope this review helps us improve, because Verlaine pizza used to be a guarantee of excellence.

26/09/2025: A place with great potential, located right at the entrance to Vieste's city center, with a beautiful layout that immediately attracts the attention of non-locals looking for a good place to eat pizza. The food is good, nothing exceptional, but still enjoyable. What's disappointing is the lackluster attitude of the lady at the counter: she's unsympathetic to those who, coming there for the first time, aren't immediately familiar with the ordering and table service process. She seems annoyed that there are people on vacation enjoying Vieste and contributing to tourism in the town.

14/09/2025: All good, but the service was what ruined the evening, because I didn't like it; more precisely, the service itself was actually okay. So? So I felt that unwelcoming atmosphere, geared toward "finish early and leave," meaning it gave you the time strictly necessary for a business-style meal. You wait for your dish, you eat it, you finish, and then you run off to work... not the desire to spend a pleasant evening... with friends, a chat... then maybe while talking, you get something else... it was experienced as a token-operated restaurant, like a carousel: ring the bell, get another token, or get off. What happened was, we put down our fork because our plate was finished, and the waiter came forward, saying, "All right, get something else." This meant, at least for us at the table, "Your time's up." Obviously, there was no line at the entrance, and there were other empty tables in the dining room. They obviously weren't waiting for us to close. More specifically, on the customer side, all those precautions meant to indicate that if we need to eat, maybe we'll have something afterwards, a coffee, a liqueur, or, well, we'll see... before leaving, we must avoid lingering in the dining room and being the last ones, we must avoid... In short, we were treated well enough to leave the restaurant. When it was still 22:45, we arrived at 21:00. The time left is understood to mean waiting for your plate and eating, then... 04/09/2025: Disarming Review – Il Melograno (Accadia) Before going to lunch with my wife, I'd read some reviews... thank goodness I didn't take them into account! Nothing I'd seen around matched what I found. This isn't about "inventing poetry" with dishes: at Il Melograno, the poetry comes naturally, and it happens beautifully. I don't remember ever eating so many dishes from times gone by, brought together and done so well, in a single meal. The appetizers? Amazing: quantity, quality, freshness, and typical flavors that are now rare. The fresh, handmade orecchiette: pure tradition that speaks for itself. The minestra maritata: a delicious treat, worthy of applause. Beyond the poetry of the food, I don't want to add anything else: those seeking authenticity here just need to sit down and be surprised. For those who think they know their way around traditional cuisine... well, they should first brush up on Il Melograno! One last note: the prices are extremely affordable, to say the least. A disarming place for its deliciousness, authenticity, authenticity, and the incredible number of dishes it offers. Would I recommend it? Absolutely: a bold and winning choice.

31/08/2025: When I return to Accadia I like to eat at this restaurant because it preserves the tradition and quality of local food, much better than the gourmet restaurants in the nearby villages where they eat you and you still leave hungry😂😂😂 among other things the prices are reasonable and you can afford to dine with the family, don't go very late because the kitchen struggles a bit if you choose different dishes from each other only for this I don't give 5 stars for the rest nothing to say.👍

05/10/2025: I was there last night... Reservation at 10:00 PM, but we were seated at 10:35 PM... That aside, the fried food was excellent (pettole, meatballs, croquettes). The pizza was very easy to digest, crispy, but the toppings were a bit salty (which can happen), but considering it's a very small place, we had to wait quite a while. Prices were normal.

15/09/2025: A truly pleasant experience! The food was excellent, prepared with fresh ingredients and served with care. The service was fast and punctual, never making us wait too long. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always smiling, making guests feel at ease. Definitely a place to return to and one I highly recommend!
