09/06/2026: Excellent restaurant located on Viale Magna Grecia, good customer service, excellent focaccia, pizza, and panzarotti, highly recommended. Table service outside the restaurant.

17/06/2026: A lovely outdoor beer garden with live music in the evenings, snacks, and a decent selection of draft and bottled beers. The fries, pizza, and mozzarella are delicious, along with excellent grilled vegetables.

29/05/2026: Truly excellent pizza by the slice and excellent service. Definitely recommended, especially convenient with the train station just steps away and several outdoor tables under the covered portico available for dining.

11/06/2026: A simple place with friendly and helpful staff. The prices are super fair and the ingredients are excellent. They also have a few good beers on tap. I recommend asking for the Bari-style dough if you like thin, crispy pizza.

19/04/2026: The trend for "canotto" pizzas with their puffed crust—you know it's only a 10-year-old fad, and you also know that the true Neapolitan pizza isn't that, but rather the "cartwheel" pizza, gigantic and crustless. You might think you can make Neapolitan pizza dough with life preservers. That's not the case.

22/08/2025: Well-stocked beach, fabulous sea view...a little further on, walking towards the rocks, the sea is Caribbean-like with very warm water, immersed in nature!! I recommend it both for the location and for the bar service, which has a rotisserie full of delicious things to eat and, for those who want, there's also kebab and piadina shop!!! Showers are available for a fee at the price of 3 euros!!!

25/01/2026: Biblical wait times, the runner (the pizzeria manager) remained outside our house for 10 minutes because he couldn't find the intercom!! Not a call, eh? The pizza was anemic, with very little tomato and miserable mozzarella. Obviously, it arrived frozen, having been "waiting" for the runner at the pizzeria for at least 40 minutes after our umpteenth call! Never again!

02/06/2026: Refined food, excellent recommendations from the owners. Wide variety of wines. Overall, everything is excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The interiors are refined and spacious.

01/05/2026: The pizza is very good, and we go there often. Last time, however, I was hit with a price shock, having paid 10 euros for bresaola, parmesan, and white arugula (so not an add-on, but a reduction)!!! That's practically the price of a gourmet pizza. Honestly, I was shocked, but I have no complaints about the pizza. In my opinion, you shouldn't charge for reductions, but rather for additions. 10 euros for a pizza in Francavilla is a lot, in my opinion. We're not in Milan, and besides, they're also local. Take this advice because otherwise, you risk people going elsewhere. Obviously, each place does what it wants.

09/12/2025: Five of us went to this restaurant for a family lunch and had a truly wonderful time. The experience was incredibly positive: quick and attentive service, and the waiter was extremely friendly and always available. We were also impressed by the food; everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The professionalism of the entire staff was evident. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

05/07/2026: Intrigued by the reviews, we tried this pizzeria. The pizza is good: very digestible dough and fresh ingredients, but the service could be improved (slow and disorganized: missing beer glasses, hasty table clearing, excessive waits for simple requests). The atmosphere is a bit noisy due to the clientele, which is predominantly families and children who tend to shout. The outdoor area needs improvement; in fact, those who already know the place will book inside! Turning off the glaring monitors, playing quiet background music, arranging tables with potted plants to provide more privacy, and installing synthetic grass on the ground that replaces the cracked asphalt would greatly improve the service. It doesn't take much. Takeout is highly recommended.

05/07/2026: Should I start again with three? Let's start again with two stars. On a summer evening, five people order two large beers and five pizzas, knowing that if necessary, they'll order a third, or a fourth, when the pizzas arrive. The so-called waiter is so thoughtful that he suggests bringing one immediately and the other with the pizzas to prevent it from getting warm. Did we ask him? No! But he, quicker than our indecision, slips away. After just 40 minutes, the pizzas arrive (not bad) but not the beer. The waiters? Vanished! Finally, after several attempts, I stop one of them to remind him, but the poor guy is already too busy, he doesn't know who we are, who he is, or what he's doing there, "I'm new," and in fact... he forgets. The pizza is almost finished when, uneasily, I decide to get up to stop the so-called waiter from offering precious advice to remind him about the beer. As we finish our pizza and our glasses are full of water, the beer finally arrives. But the glasses are still missing. They will arrive only when, in desperation, we've thrown the water on the sidewalk and shared this blessed beer, which will mark the end of our enthusiasm, with which we won't sit down again, at least for a while. A word of advice to the so-called waiter with precious advice: "Fà sta! Purt a birr e spicc't!" (Drinkable speaking)

11/07/2026: We were with my friends and in total we had to pay 81.50 instead of everyone paying for their pizza/drink we paid the Roman way and some instead of paying €11.50 paid €9 and others instead of €6 paid €9

03/08/2025: We stopped by chance, but it was a pleasant dinner... we waited a bit, but it was due to the lack of staff, which the owner immediately clarified, but it was pleasantly rewarded by the good pizza and the courtesy of the staff. We will definitely be back!

Italy) In Tricase, saying a pizza place isn’t the best is like saying your Ferrari isn’t the fastest, it’s still a Ferrari. Pizzeria Da Luigi serves up a solid, delicious, can’t-go-wrong kind of pizza. Maybe it's not the single best slice in town, but honestly? That’s like ranking Michelangelo’s sculptures, some preferences are just personal. The crust is crispy, the ingredients are fresh, and the vibe is proper local. You leave satisfied, full, and wondering if you’re just a little too spoiled by Italy. If this exact pizza landed anywhere else in the world, they’d crown Luigi emperor and name a national holiday after him. But in Tricase? It’s just Tuesday.
