We spent two nights in the adjoining guesthouse. The apartment had no windows, but the good lighting, size, and high ceilings made it very cozy and inviting. We felt completely at home. The location is excellent – ​​right in the city center and very central. Breakfast was served in the Italian style at the patisserie across the street. Unfortunately, it was closed on Monday, but we received a small picnic lunch instead. Thank you very much!

Lunch or dinner, Nicola (the owner) is always a guarantee. Preparations expertly combine tradition and innovation, taste and experimentation, bold flavors and delicious aromas, attentive yet unobtrusive service, and a wine cellar capable of satisfying even the most discerning local connoisseur.

We tried this pizzeria after reading several very positive reviews. The appetizers were really good and well-prepared, so the start was promising. Unfortunately, the pizza was a bit disappointing: it was quite greasy, and overall we expected better quality, especially considering the excellent reviews we'd read previously. Overall, a decent experience, but with a few areas for improvement.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner. The location is in the historic center of Acquaviva: it's an old renovated manger, and the stone decorations make it very unique. Reservations can be made by phone or WhatsApp and are very quick and easy. The staff is attentive and friendly, but sometimes they tend to rush you. I didn't appreciate the fact that my plate was taken away before I'd even finished my meal. The ingredients are high-quality, but as far as pizza dough goes, we think the classic one is the best. The Neapolitan pizza, which we usually prefer, is too heavy and doesn't have much leavening; the whole-grain pizza, on the other hand, is a bit too hard. The bill is slightly higher than average, but the Cecenero remains an excellent choice in Acquaviva. In fact, it's not our first time here, and we'll definitely be back.

I've been there a few times in the past, for pizza (which was delicious). The first and second courses were a real surprise; the quality of the ingredients and the final result were truly top-notch. Nicola and the entire staff know how to make you happy😅.

The pizza is delicious, but the appetizers and dinner dishes contain cream that binds the flavors and makes them a bit stringy (see, for example, the seafood cannelloni). There's room for improvement. Remember, simple things are the best.
