06/07/2026: Unfortunately, things in Marotta aren't what they used to be. The classics of the past have gotten too big for their reputations, and, imitating the great chefs, they offer "creative" menus that have nothing creative about them except the tiny portions for the high prices. Fortunately, Il Gabbiano is still here. Here, you can still feel the atmosphere of a classic fish trattoria. The staff is very quick and helpful. The portions are truly generous, and the quality is more than in line with the restaurant's style: mussels Taranto-style or all'arrabbiata, amazing first courses, fried and roasted dishes, all strictly without the frills that are in fashion these days, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity. One consolation is walking back after dinner and noticing that Il Gabbiano was packed to the rafters, while many other "starred" restaurants on the seafront weren't even at half capacity... think about it, restaurateurs, think about it!!!!

03/07/2026: I've only been to the restaurant. This place is marked as a favorite, and I've decided to return again and again. Unpretentious, but down-to-earth. Lots of delicious fish, with old-fashioned prices to suit everyone's budget. A sincere and special place in its simplicity.

24/08/2026: We had dinner, eating a parmigiana pizza with fried eggplant that was excellent...very good and with a light crust. We also ordered fried fish with grilled octopus, which wasn't on the evening's menu. The place is cozy, with a sea view, and the staff are friendly. The food, both pizza and pasta, was very good. We'll definitely be back.

22/08/2026: I had a good time and the waiters were immediately available to welcome us and let us know during dinner if everything was okay. The fried pizza was excellent and recommended.

17/08/2026: We weren't entirely sold on the fish and mussels; they were tasteless. The fish carbonara chitarrine and the morette pasta were very good, however. The place is beautiful and the service attentive.

15/08/2026: Truly an excellent experience! Super fresh fish, generous portions, and carefully prepared. Flavorful mussels and clams, a rich sauce, and crispy croutons perfect for mopping up the sauce. Friendly and attentive service, a pleasant atmosphere, and prices absolutely in line with the quality offered. If you love seafood, this place is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back! 🐟🦐🦪

23/08/2026: A well-kept restaurant with extremely friendly staff. We stopped by on a Saturday evening, late in August, and they welcomed us right away! The wait was minimal; we were served within 10 minutes! I highly recommend the "butter and anchovies" as a must-try dish. Perhaps the best I've ever had. The pizza was also excellent, as were the first courses.

12/08/2026: The food is exquisite. The giardiniera is something extraordinary for the palate, and the meatballs in tomato sauce reminded me so much of my grandmother's. So, if you're passing through Tavullia, I highly recommend stopping at the Vale Rossi store if you're not sure where to eat. The staff is always kind and always ready with a joke. Finally, the bill was very fair for everything we ate.

11/07/2026: We spontaneously decided to try Pizzeria Da Berto during the week because our usual campsite pizzeria had already closed. Even though it was quite busy, we got a table right away. At first glance, the owner seemed a bit reserved – probably because he was very busy. It was all the more wonderful, then, to see how warmly he interacted with our four children. He joked around with them and gave them plenty of attention. For us as a family, that's truly special and not something we take for granted. The food was excellent, as was the service. Everything was fresh, delicious, and served promptly despite the restaurant being full. The value for money is unbeatable. We felt completely at ease and can wholeheartedly recommend Pizzeria Da Berto. If you appreciate good food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back! 🍕😊

08/07/2026: If you’re in Gradara, don’t miss this place. It’s one of those classic, historic spots that you just have to visit. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and the service was really quick. The pizza was absolutely delicious – one of the best we had during our trip. We also tried a couple of desserts, and they were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. A wonderful experience from start to finish. We’d happily come back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Gradara 🇮🇹

04/08/2026: Simply excellent, with menus for all tastes, from pizzas to fish dishes, all very good. The staff is knowledgeable, competent, and even friendly. Add to that the stunning view... shhhh, absolute silence, and... feast your eyes!

24/06/2026: Excellent quality Moretta from an original recipe. The restaurant is now renowned above all for this good service and it is also possible to eat something. Fabulous aperitif. Good service.

23/06/2026: We have organized amazing weddings here for our high demanding clients for over 8 years here and since we kicked off the great succes of destination wedding on this winery estate. The previously unknown estate for weddings is now serving us with the great assistance when we choose the tenuta for Italy destination and luxury wedding. High demands were possible and easy here 🇮🇹💞💍

17/06/2026: We used the spa, which was very nice. This was followed by a wine tour with Mattia, a young man who was truly knowledgeable, kind, and ready to accommodate our every wish. Definitely worth repeating.

16/07/2026: A short vacation in the beautiful Marche region led us to discover this truly excellent restaurant and pizzeria. The staff, I believe the owners, were friendly and welcoming, and immediately put us at ease. We had two excellent pizzas: a Napoli, which for me is the true litmus test of a pizzeria's worth—well-leavened dough, precise cooking, and quality ingredients—and a Tricolore, a fresher, summerier option, light and well-balanced. I recommend this place to anyone who's in the area and wants good food without too many frills.
