23/04/2025: Neapolitan pizzeria with excellent pizzas and decent cuisine, but in my opinion the service is really too slow (45 minutes of waiting is really too long to have pizza, after the appetizers)

19/05/2025: The food was good and the atmosphere was nice, but the experience was soured by the attitude we received when asking about a charge on our bill — the “coperto.” When I politely asked about it, the man at the register responded with a condescending tone, asking if I had ever been to Italy before and telling me it’s normal. I wasn’t disputing the charge, I just wanted to understand what it was. I had just come from another restaurant about 10 feet away where I had a few drinks and wasn’t charged anything like that. It’s not about the 4 Euros — it’s about the principle. Restaurants shouldn’t expect tourists to blindly pay fees without explanation, and certainly not treat them poorly when they ask questions. Extremely poor way of handling a simple inquiry. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area with just as good food and much better customer service. I’ve attached a photo for context. I’d recommend trying other spots nearby instead.

23/04/2025: Non siamo mai usciti in settimana per cena ma, ieri io e mio marito, abbiamo scelto questo ristorante. Aperto di sera fin tardi, propongono piatti sia di pesce che di carne. Locale semplice ma pulito con un blu sulle pareti bellissimo. Io ho preso il riso con taleggio e funghi porcini ed era buonissimo ( lo avrei solo impiattato un po meglio), mentre mio marito i scialatielli con astice, anche loro da fare la scarpetta! Per secondo io prendo il fritto misto, mentre mio marito una pizza ai frutti di mare, entrambi molto buoni e abbondanti. Ho messo 4 pallini e non 5 solo per alcuni dettagli che con un po di occhio si sistemano ( copertina di menù un po sporca e stecchini finiti in tavola ). Conto giusto. Personale non italiano ma gentile. Parcheggio appena fuori dall'ingresso. Torneremo.

16/05/2025: We found ourselves in this area of ​​Milan, and walking hungry we found ourselves in front of this restaurant. The initial impact was good, very kind staff, bright and clean environment. We ordered two fish first courses, I with fresh pasta made by them, swordfish, bottarga and clams, and my companion linguine with sardines and cherry tomatoes. We didn't wait long, but just enough for an express dish and not pre-cooked. We were both very happy with the choice and execution of the dishes, good. I must also admit that the amount of people inside the restaurant gave me hope right away, as it is very busy. Prices for a Milan and fish dishes I would say good. Recommended!

The menu is extensive, good raw materials and nice combinations. The portions are generous. Right value for money. Strategic location, between Loreto and the Central Station. We will definitely be back. I would only recommend investing in some sound-absorbing material, because when the tables were almost all full, the noise started to get a little annoying.

20/05/2025: The service is good everyone is very nice and the restaurant is very pretty. However, the Milanesa was the worst milanesa I have ever had. It had no flavor at all. The orange risotto on the other hand was pretty good.

21/04/2025: We often have lunch or dinner at Al Volo which we have been frequenting for years. We have always had a great time offering excellent fish dishes such as the first courses, the tuna steak, the fried dishes, the appetizers including polenta with octopus and the au gratin tray. The pizza is also excellent. There is no shortage of good wine
