Delicious pizza, very friendly owners. High-end sliced pizzeria, in an "Old Milan" style, highly recommended!

Great crusty milanese pizza in a traditional setting. And do not miss that creamy walnut penne!

Last night, two friends and I chose Forno Antico on Viale Corsica, and we were more than satisfied. It's one of those historic Milanese spots where time seems to have stood still in the best sense of the word: no frills, no pretensions, just excellent pizza. The slice is as it should be: well-crafted dough, crispy on the bottom and soft on the inside, cooked to perfection. We opted for the generous portion, and the name doesn't lie: it's truly generous. The prices are fair, definitely below average for similar quality in Milan. The place is simple and informal, yet well-kept and very clean. Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. Highly recommended for those who love authentic Milanese pizza by the slice.

The space was nice, as well as the personal. However, the same can not be tell about the pizzas: it was not tasteful, the topping of the pizza was short, and one of the pizzas that we asked for had mushrooms, with those being from a can and terrific.

Definitely one of the best pizzas by the slice in Milan. This historic pizzeria has been around since the 1970s, while the current management has been in place since the late 1980s. The excellent taste and quality of their pizza has remained unchanged over time.
Highly recommended!

PIZZA NOT BAD BUT... "GENTLEMEN, WE'RE CLOSED"... NOT AT ALL...
A pleasant moment... ruined by a final episode.
That evening of February 3, 2026, I was with a friend, who had suggested we grab something to eat. When we reached her, and after laboriously finding parking on Viale Corsica, she suggested this pizzeria by the slice, where we'd already been. Having had a good time the previous time, I gladly accepted.
She ordered a simple Margherita pizza, and I ordered a generous "Forno Antico" with spicy salami and, if I remember correctly, scamorza cheese.
The pizzas arrived quickly and were, I'd say, good and quite light (and for a pizza by the slice, which is usually not so easy to digest, that's remarkable).
Around 9:45 PM, we saw them starting to pack up the chairs and tables. It seemed early to me, and we figured they were "getting ahead" with the closing work.
Instead, a few minutes later, the owner arrives and, with a rather unkind tone, clapping his hands, thunders (or almost): "Gentlemen, let's go, it's closing time!" It wasn't even 10 PM.
It might have been right, and perhaps that was closing time... However, if we think about Oriental restaurants, we see that they never turn people away. Even at the cost of closing late. Here, we saw an example of rude and, in my opinion, coercive behavior.
Maybe people think they're invincible... But remember, there's competition, and in this case, even in the area. And if you're treated questionably, at least in this respect, you can choose another place.
The pizza is certainly good: however, remember, if you come, to come early enough, at least during the week. Otherwise, you know what can happen.

I had a portion of the Margherita pizza and a tuna and onion one. What can I say... it's been a while since I've had such a good pizza. I'll definitely be back.
