02/10/2025: Unassuming from the outside, inside you receive a very friendly welcome and are shown to your seat. Very friendly staff. You are not immediately rushed to order, but have plenty of time to study the menu. We opted for pizza. Very large pizza, bigger than the plate, thin crispy base that isn't drowned in tomato sauce. Plenty of toppings. Overall, our first visit was excellent and it won't be the last. The menu is very extensive; you have to try everything. Excellent value for money. As for what they say, Italy (especially Lake Garda) is no longer something Germans can afford (I can't hear it anymore). In Germany we would have easily paid €15 more for what we ordered, including tip.

25/08/2025: We've eaten at this restaurant three times in the past years, and this year we opted for takeout, but it's always a guarantee! Thin-crust pizza made with quality ingredients, delicious casoncelli topped with fantastic butter! You can pay by debit card, and everyone is incredibly friendly!

15/08/2025: Tried it once because it was on the road, but never was the choice more perfect. In fact, we stop every year on August 15th and on other occasions as well. Everything was excellent, the first and second courses were superb, the meat was excellent. Highly recommended. Welcoming, courteous, and friendly staff who know how to advise. Honorable mention for the sliced porcini mushrooms. Thanks for everything, see you next time.

13/09/2025: The place looks very nice. I'm giving it 2 stars because I arrived on a Sunday, July 27th, lunchtime, 48 minutes before closing (with a small child), and was told the oven had been turned off. If I manage to find the oven on next time, I'll make sure to change my rating.

12/09/2025: ARIANNA, congratulations on your professionalism! First of all: I'm vegan. You can't create your own pizza on the website, and due to personal reasons, I can't go out to pick it up. So I called, hoping that by placing an order for the same price, I could change just 1/4 of the pizza I was ordering. No. No way. It's 2025; there are people with allergies, intolerances, religions, and different eating habits. It didn't seem like an impossible request, nor did I ask for any discounts or differences—quite the opposite, in fact. Luckily, another pizzeria was able to accommodate me. Keep up to date, because the pizza is delicious. It's a shame you don't know how to accommodate the customer's needs (even minimal ones).

07/10/2025: We're here on vacation for two weeks, exploring Northern Italy. We've eaten at various places, but here at the "Milano," the food is simply delicious and authentic Italian. We were also looking for a restaurant, but all the others were closed, and we were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is just right: an old, historic house with a restaurant to match. The restaurant features great photos and paintings on the walls by the Lake Idro painter Frederico Vaglia. Everything is just perfect, and the staff is even more so... Thank you for the friendly service and the excellent food!

03/10/2025: We only ate here. Therefore, no review of the hotel. Actually, a little out of desperation. And as sometimes happens, the surprise worked. Authentic Italian food in a wonderful dining room, with only locals besides us. Highly recommended. Delicious and reasonably priced.

15/09/2025: The problem was coordinating the kitchen and the pizzeria. Two people from the kitchen ate immediately, and the other two ate after the others had almost finished and after asking the waiters where the pizzas were... The food was average, nothing exceptional.

12/10/2025: I'm editing my review under new management. Good quality pizza, good service. I can see that the prices are getting out of hand. €3 per cover with pizza (it's the same everywhere now), €7 for dessert. Let's leave aside the money issue, which is a boring thing (if you want to save money, stay home). The atmosphere has lost some of its tradition, something only those who knew the old management and the ladies who served can understand. Today, the atmosphere is more youthful, and the attention to the tables could be improved. The cashier is lacking a few smiles, but they made up for it with a complimentary liqueur. That said, good work. The pizza is very good.

26/08/2025: The location is quite isolated, but the atmosphere is very welcoming. Good food and average service (there were only four tables occupied at lunchtime, so I didn't have a chance to give a better assessment). The pizzas are also quite good.

11/08/2025: The pizza from La Piola is always good. If you have the chance, go and I recommend booking in advance because it's always full and it's good.

10/08/2025: We were surprised by the delicious pizzas. They melt in your mouth and are very large. We give them a 10/10. Well-kept place ❤️ and good service.

23/08/2025: We had pan burgers, and they were excellent. A vintage place with a youthful touch, especially evident in the menu. The service wasn't great, but when you have seasonal workers, you know what happens; you have to give them time to grow.

27/09/2025: Very nice place, with a "grandma's house" atmosphere, with old photos, retro paintings, and copper tableware as decor. I don't think the owners are Italian; the food is very spicy and reminded me of Ukrainian cuisine more than Italian.

24/09/2025: Very good food, we came here to try horse meat and it was great, steak was good but pizza with smoked meat and Rucola was magnificent. Prices are great too

09/08/2025: The ingredients are top-quality, and you can taste them, like raw seafood, unseasoned and pure, leaving you free to choose how you want to enjoy them. The pizza dough is a bit bland, I think to better showcase the toppings, but I personally prefer other types. The only real flaw is the somewhat slow service.
