29/04/2026: Do you know that feeling when you are so enthusiastic about a restaurant experience that you immediately want to tell everyone about it? That is how we felt at Rock 1978. We ordered several ‘small’ pizzas (4 slices) so that we could taste different flavors. What unique, innovative, and delicious flavor combinations they were; it is so special that local products are used! The staff was incredibly friendly and ensured an ultimate experience! It was also nice that our two dogs were welcome. We recommend this restaurant 100%! You won't regret it!

07/07/2026: We visited Kapperi with our family and had a lovely table in the tastefully decorated courtyard. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the tables were generously spaced, and we were able to enjoy the evening in peace and quiet. We were particularly drawn to the restaurant because of its excellent reputation for gluten-free cuisine. And we weren't disappointed. The gluten-free pizza really set the bar very high for us. Both my wife and I agree that it was the best gluten-free pizza we've had so far at Lake Garda. The other dishes were also consistently of a very high standard. The beef tartare was outstanding, as was the swordfish. The wine selection also impressed us, and the desserts were excellent as well. The homemade tiramisu was delicious, and the ice cream was a big hit with our children. My father-in-law was especially impressed by the foie gras with caramelized onions. He travels to France regularly and said that this was among the best foie gras he has ever eaten. As we recall, the dish, at around €39, wasn't exactly cheap, but in his opinion, it was worth every penny. The service was also very friendly and always tried its best to understand and fulfill all our requests, despite the language barrier. If I had to offer a small suggestion for improvement, it would be this: Our server didn't seem very experienced. Wine glasses weren't automatically refilled, and empty bottles or used dishes sometimes remained on the table for a while, so we occasionally had to ask for things to be cleared away. A less cluttered table is especially pleasant when traveling with children. However, this is really nitpicking and should be taken as constructive feedback. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The high quality of the food, the lovely ambiance, and the very friendly service, in our opinion, justify the slightly higher price. We would gladly return and give it a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars.

10/08/2026: Dinner with friends. Excellent pizza, super friendly and perfect service. It's a quiet place, perfect for kids too. The bill was a real surprise, regular pizzas are all the same price. We'll definitely be back.

06/08/2026: I recommend the restaurant Osteria Al Gallo. We accidentally stopped in for dinner and were delighted with the Italian atmosphere and delicious food. The staff was cheerful and smiling. The dinner was simply amazing!

It's especially great how dog-friendly it is – perfect if you're traveling with your four-legged friend. 🐾 A little tip for anyone planning to sit outside: depending on the time of day, the mosquitoes can be a bit bothersome, so it's best to pack some mosquito repellent. Otherwise, highly recommended and definitely worth a visit!

12/08/2026: Good pizza, also available for takeaway. The wait is short. It's quite noisy inside because the children's play area is quite large. If that's what you're looking for, both kids and parents will have fun. The price/performance ratio is still very good.

I keep coming whenever visiting Garda region as at Al Portec they know how to make great food at a normal price, they know how to please their customers. They have the speed , so you don’t need to wait long for your dish. I see there are some negative opinions , don’t even look at them. Nothing negative is true. It seems some people are just difficult and don’t know What good food is 😊

30/04/2026: Having not found what we were looking for in some of the local restaurants, we decided to try this one based on the reviews. What a pleasant surprise! Unbeatable value for money, gigantic and delicious pizzas (cooked in a wood-fired oven, of course), equally good pasta, and simple but very friendly service. We were also surprised to hear the owner speaking French. Highly recommended for a great family meal if you're not looking for a romantic dinner...
