25/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on a Monday evening after landing at Orio al Serio and were pleasantly surprised by both the service and the quality of the food. Everything was truly excellent! We'll keep it in mind!

01/01/2026: A ruined day!! If you are a tourist, do not pay in cash if you don't want to be scammed. After a walk by the lake with the children, we went in for lunch on December 31st around midday. Everything was fine until the bill arrived — 98 euros, which was perfectly acceptable. We left 20 euros × 6 = 120 euros, planning to leave a tip. When the change came, I was shocked to receive only 2 euros. To be sure, I checked my wallet to confirm that I had indeed put in 120 euros. I counted again and confirmed it. The real shock came when the staff returned with four 20‑euro notes, claiming that we had not paid the full amount. I should add that when the waiter took the money, he dropped it on the floor and spent a long time under the table, even though the money was not scattered around. That's where the missing 40 euros disappeared — into his pocket. Disgraceful behavior and a ruined day! I spend at least a couple of months a year in this region. 17/01/2026: Excellent steakhouse. I went on Friday evening with my family. We ordered the Friday menu with an appetizer platter of cured meats and fried gnocco. Both the cured meats and the gnocco were excellent. We also had a Piedmontese Fassona beef tartare, which I must say was sublime. This was followed by various cuts of grilled meat with potatoes, delicious and perfectly cooked. Welcoming atmosphere and very kind and knowledgeable wait staff. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. Well done, keep up the good work!

06/01/2026: Monday 5th January for the first time I went to this restaurant as it was my son's birthday when I booked I asked if they made cakes I WANTED MIMOSA they said yes without telling me that they made it their own way for me MIMOSA IS MIMOSA so I also booked the cake there were 5 of us good meat PRICES LIKE A KIDNEY when it came time for the cake something that you couldn't look at it was incredibly sad. STAFF THAT DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. For the price paid I won't go back there are many better restaurants with staff that know what they're doing not that they take away your glass still half full and that food arrives first to two diners and then after a quarter of an hour to the other three diners. 25/01/2026: We decided to return to Pizzeria La Ruota after a long time because we've always been happy with the quality and menu options. We were seated in a cold dining room; we mentioned the inconvenience and were informed that they'd turned up the heating (something we hadn't noticed during the two-hour dinner). We asked for a cheese board to share for three people and, after a full 30 minutes, we were served three cheese boards for the modest sum of €9 each, when we only wanted one to share. We also had two plates of gnocchi and a pizza, but only saw it 15 minutes after the gnocchi arrived. The service was truly poor, and we spent the entire dinner wearing jackets. We were very disappointed by the decline of this place, which doesn't invite us back.

16/02/2026: We had a Valentine's Day dinner with a divine menu that evening. It's disappointing that they didn't fulfill the beautifully described menu they offered. The food was tasteless, the staff was confused. According to the menu, the amuse-bouche was served not first, but after the apertizer and the first course without even announcing it. Only when asked, the frightened waitress (although maybe she wasn't even a waitress there, but some friend who came to help) said, oh yes, it will be later. 110 euros for a couple, such an offer without drinks, and the fulfillment is pathetic 😳

14/02/2026: A romantic, quiet, and elegant restaurant with truly friendly and knowledgeable staff. You'll be spoiled for choice because the dishes are delicious, even the desserts are wow (they make panettone all year round, you have to try it). A beautiful evening, with excellent food and excellent service!

22/02/2026: Very good and digestible pizza, very punctual service

02/02/2026: The pizza was really excellent and the delivery was super fast, but ordering was SO HARD. My partner and I spent an hour calling the number and no one answered, either voicemail or missed rings. We've had this pizza twice before, once from Deliveroo (which apparently closed now, and if that were the case, they should take it down) and once from our phone. The first time we tried to order from our phone, we waited about half an hour and finally managed to get it, but it wasn't a pleasant experience either. Unfortunately, we don't have a car, otherwise we would have picked it up directly at the restaurant. That said, I recommend clarifying your ordering process and reorganizing your social media and delivery pages because, given the current situation, customers are likely to get discouraged and go eat elsewhere.

11/01/2026: The pizza is really good. The atmosphere is clean and tidy. The staff are AMAZING!!! KIND, HAPPY, AND ENERGY-FUL! It's truly a pleasure to go there...WELL DONE!

01/03/2026: A welcoming place, a pleasant atmosphere, and a wide selection of food, especially pizzas and those seeking the coveted "gluten-free" and "lactose-free" options. There's also a wide selection of desserts, from vegan to lactose-free and gluten-free. Excellent service, and it was a pleasure to meet "Luca," the ironic and super-friendly waiter, at our table. Highly recommended!

14/01/2026: A magical place in all seasons, snowy, sunny, or on cool summer evenings. The pizza is always excellent, but you're also welcome to pop in for breakfast, a platter of cold cuts, or a hot chocolate in the afternoon. Clean and welcoming.

01/02/2026: I've been to Pizzeria Ristorante Centauri, and I can only compliment the food: it was truly excellent. The pizzas were well-cooked, with quality ingredients, and the restaurant's dishes were also very tasty and carefully prepared. From this perspective, the experience was decidedly positive. The service was good: the staff were friendly and helpful, although there was a bit of a wait before being served, which could be improved. Unfortunately, the only real weakness was the ambiance. The lights were too dim and gave off a sad, unwelcoming feeling. Furthermore, the place felt more like a room thrown together without any particular care or personality, rather than a true restaurant with attention to detail. In conclusion, if you're going for good food, Centauri is an excellent choice; if you're also looking for a pleasant, warm atmosphere, there's definitely room for improvement.

We recently tried it for takeout and were equally pleased; delivery was very fast. We will definitely recommend it to guests staying at our vacation home in Chiuduno.
