20/03/2026: Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit this place with a group of friends. We initially planned to sit in the garden, but due to the cooler weather, it was closed. On the plus side, we were offered a table upstairs, which was a nice touch. The place itself makes a very good impression – atmospheric and tastefully decorated, although it's definitely not an intimate space, but rather a place designed for larger crowds and large groups. As for the service, it's unfortunately a bit less so. The wait was quite long, and my dessert was forgotten, which somewhat spoiled the overall impression. The food is decent and tasty, but doesn't have the "wow" factor – there are better places to eat in the area. The very good wine list, however, deserves special mention, which may be a strong reason for many to visit. It's worth noting that payment is made upon exiting the premises. In summary – a place with atmosphere and potential, especially for larger gatherings, although with a few elements that could be more efficient.

13/04/2026: Highly recommended! When you try it, you'll be overwhelmed by the rich, authentic flavors, the fruit of a family with a strong passion and culinary tradition. I recommend not underestimating the pizzas: perfect dough and intense flavor, the result of meticulously sourcing ingredients sourced from the finest regions of our country. There's nothing on the menu that didn't satisfy me completely. It's all complemented by an enchanting atmosphere, the result of a carefully designed and meticulously maintained space (I especially recommend the outdoor area). It's impossible not to leave satisfied. Among the best in the province.

28/02/2026: Dinner was good value for money. I ordered a cured meat appetizer, the coppa was black, and the waitress rudely replied, "Is that so?" without changing it? I didn't tell her I worked in a delicatessen, I left the plate, and for two slices of cured meat, she lost a customer!

29/03/2026: Last night, my friends and I dined at Pizzeria Byron and we all left thrilled. As a celiac, I can say I've rarely felt so relaxed and pampered in a restaurant. The menu is vast: an incredible selection of pizzas, all customizable, and what struck me most is that practically every dish on the "regular" menu is also available in a gluten-free version—even the casoncelli! The waiter who looked after us was impeccable: attentive, just the right amount of friendly, and very knowledgeable. As soon as I told them I had celiac disease, they changed my cutlery, brought the bread packaged separately, and my pizza arrived on a dedicated plate. There were six of us, with very different requests, and yet everything arrived at the same time. The wait wasn't long, and in any case, the quality of the dishes more than made up for it. The gluten-free pizza dough was different from anything I'd tried before, but it was truly delicious—and I even devoured the crostone. Last but not least... the desserts. Seeing those masterpieces being passed around the tables around us convinced us to try them, and yes: they're also available in gluten-free versions. Next time I'm in Bergamo, I already know I'll be back!

15/03/2026: Just yesterday, late afternoon, my first time at this cozy place, chosen after a quick search of the area as a pre-cinema spot. It was fantastic, and luckily we found a table for two. Reservations are recommended, I know now. The decor is very atmospheric, with tables, sofas, and old-fashioned English-style armchairs, as well as various tableware. Homemade cakes and croissants, including vegan ones for the pickiest. For a quick aperitif, even a savory one. Fantastic! The girls are super efficient and cheerful.

11/03/2026: The perfect place for snacks and teatime with friends. The atmosphere is homey and casual, elegant, and retro. The brunch is varied and plentiful, and the homemade cakes are excellent.

15/04/2026: We dined on Easter Sunday with an à la carte menu. Despite the restaurant being busy, the dishes arrived promptly, including appetizers, first courses, and second courses, mostly fish-based, and were well-prepared. The staff were courteous and friendly. The bill was reasonable. I can't comment on the rooms because I didn't use them.

19/10/2025: I stopped at the pizzeria "La Fonte" in Oltre il Colle by chance, driven by the need to escape the usual onslaught of motorcyclists—like myself—who regularly crowd the restaurant at Passo Zambla at lunchtime. Having encountered the same crowd the previous time, I decided to head down the slope of the pass to find a quicker and less chaotic alternative. So, after filling up my trusty Yamaha, I stumbled upon this small but charming place: a pizza by the slice that, I was pleased to note, also serves good gelato. I opted for a slice with onions and a Margherita, since the portions aren't excessively large. I must say, the choice turned out to be excellent: the pizza was excellent, served hot and fresh from the oven, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Furthermore, the staff was kind and friendly. Another plus was the cozy warmth inside, thanks to the oven, a real blessing considering the cold day. Finally, the price is absolutely fair considering the excellent quality. I think this will be my regular stop after my motorcycle trips from now on!
