16/04/2026: La Baitella. Upstairs, a quaint restaurant run by a kind and very professional lady... As for the ground floor, I unfortunately have to give a negative review. They seem like two different restaurants... The staff is certainly tired in the evening, but hearing a waitress say, without much concern for the other customers sitting nearby, "I was waiting for the men at that table to go crazy," is definitely not professional or nice. Another sore point: the three of us ordered two appetizers, two first courses, and a second course. It seems obvious to me that the appetizers should be delivered first, without having to point it out, and the rest later... Another waitress. Annoyed, she pointed out that we hadn't warned them that we had to share the appetizers... Which in my opinion is unprofessional in any case, and above all, she didn't even stop to listen to what I was saying to her in a more than calm manner... I'm sorry because, as I said initially, the place is nice and the impression was positive, but perhaps they need to invest more in staff training....

03/04/2026: As for pizza, I think it's the best in Seriate. One of the best takeout pizzas I've ever had. Even for home delivery, they're very punctual. Cons? Don't book and say you'll pick up at a specific time. They take your order. Then you arrive at the agreed-upon time and only after paying do they put you in line to order your pizzas. Today I asked for the pizzas to be ready at 7:40 PM. I paid in advance. I picked up the pizzas after 8:00 PM. In this regard, they have a lot of room for improvement as a business.

15/01/2026: The service is quick, and the food and pizza are excellent. The atmosphere is always very quiet, even during business lunches, with fewer crowds than other places where it's really too crowded. Parking is very limited.

19/04/2026: I've eaten at this trattoria several times, always for the pizza. The quality is excellent and very reminiscent of the pizza I ate in Naples. The desserts are also good, but in my opinion the highlight is the delicacy. The staff is cheerful, and they celebrate birthdays and sing Neapolitan songs. I recommend it for a great pizza and a fun evening.

13/03/2026: Discovered by chance on the way back from Sarnico to Bergamo, we stopped for dinner. We ordered a porcini mushroom pizza and a Parmidodoro scrocchiarella... Delicious pizzas, and the scrocchiarella was superb! Excellent, quality ingredients. Very friendly and professional service. For two, we spent €49 (for a Parmidodoro scrocchiarella, a porcini mushroom pizza, a bottle of water, a small draft beer, a coffee, and a liqueur). The bill was reasonable for the quality of the food and the professionalism of the service. The place is very nice, with well-spaced tables and a quiet atmosphere (we went for dinner on a Thursday). Highly recommended!

27/03/2026: I've been to the restaurant and I'm only judging what I tried. Cod bites: surprisingly, the bites were fried in batter (which wasn't indicated on the menu). Three bites in total, one with only batter, the other two with very little cod and a lot of batter. Disgraceful. Fresh salad: good. Tiramisu: or rather, soggy panettone (renamed Tiramisu). It's a shame, because they're very friendly and the place is clean and spacious. Maybe they were having a bad day, it happens.

20/03/2026: I went for dinner in the evening. It's an elegant, unique place, with good food and fast service. It has a distinctive glass window and fairy lights.

23/03/2026: Outside of the "wealthier" locals, you don't really get an Italian vibe. The food itself is tasty, but nothing more – I've had better elsewhere. The staff, apart from one of the waitresses, barely speaks English (which is strange, considering the place is located in the city's main tourist area), and I'd rate it as poor, as would their attitude. The staff rushes between you with plates and orders, creating a tense atmosphere. Afterward, you receive a bill that's difficult for a tourist to understand (there are two amounts, so you don't know how much you're supposed to pay). You pay on the way out, which the staff can't explain either (because they don't speak English, ironically enough…). After paying, you feel like you're already unwanted, with a general "OK, you've eaten and paid, get out" attitude. I don't recommend this place; overall, it really ruined my enjoyment of Bergamo. (Two stars only for not-bad food)

22/03/2026: A lovely little place in the center of Bergamo Alta. Despite the crowds, service was really fast, and the waiters were kind and accommodating. The food was good; we chose the €25 menu per person, which includes a first course, a second course, and coffee. Highly recommended; reservations are recommended given the large crowd.

01/04/2026: Very nice place. Very helpful staff. As soon as we arrived, they offered us a small aperitif; we had pizza, which was really good. At the end of the meal, they even offered us limoncello with small pastries. Highly recommended, I'll be back.

12/03/2026: I went there almost two years ago and I would like to go back since I'm returning to Bergamo in May but the phone tells me that the number doesn't exist. Does anyone know if it's open or has changed its number?
