13/02/2026: Some of the dishes here are really well-cooked, like the rolls and burgers. Others, like the fries, are a little less so: they taste like over-fried oil. The pizzas are better with regular dough (the thick, Neapolitan one wasn't... Neapolitan!). Still, recommended.

20/05/2026: I want to share my bad experience at this restaurant. I walked in around 10:45 PM. My friends were waiting for me, and as soon as I arrived, I asked if I could have a pizza, since they had already started eating. I was flatly refused, even though the kitchen was still open. Only later, after speaking to another waiter, who took my order, did the pizza arrive, but without cutlery or a napkin, just scissors. I ordered a water, which was brought without a glass, and I had to ask a friend for a tissue. (Photo attached) While I was eating, the cashier came to the table, a little annoyed, to bring us the bill. And as I was about to finish, I left a last bite on my plate to take a sip of water, and the waiter, without asking, took the plate right in front of me. So, annoyed, we decided to settle the accounts, go pay and leave. I went to pay first, having only ordered one pizza; the others would then add their share (calculated Roman style). As soon as I arrived, I told them what I was paying, and the cashier was abrupt and told me I had to pay 25 euros, because I would have to pay Roman style like the others or I would have to pay the entire bill. Having only ordered one pizza, I rightly didn't think it was fair to be forced to pay for what I hadn't consumed, like wine, beer, and appetizers my friends had eaten earlier, so I objected. An argument broke out, and one of my friends was attacked; the pizza chef snapped at him and started yelling. A friend of mine, exhausted by the situation, decided to pay the entire bill just to leave. But once we left the restaurant, as we were walking towards the parking lot, the owner chased us in his car, pulled over, asking if we'd had any problems, and met us in the parking lot to clarify. But at a certain point, the pizza chef appeared, along with other waiters and his cousin, surrounding us, and from there, we started another aggressive argument. I really thought it was going to end in physical altercations. It was an embarrassing situation, and it seems absurd to me that there is such staff. I've never seen such rude service, and I'll never return.

17/05/2026: Really good pizza, amazing fried food. If I could give you a tip, get the Iberian fried fish. The owner and his team are really kind and friendly.

01/07/2026: Nice place on Lido beach. I was there several times and was very satisfied. The Staff was helpful and nice and it was ok priced

24/06/2026: Boungiorno. From June 21st to June 26th, 2026, we rented an apartment in Ostia with the intention of exploring Rome and relaxing on the beach. It was a perfect choice! The sea is clear, the sand is graphite gray. For 3 people on a weekday, 2 sun loungers and an umbrella cost 30 euros. The beach is open from 9am to 7pm. The town itself is beautiful. The architecture and palm trees complement everything. The water is shallow, perfect for small and medium-sized children. There's a volleyball court and a restaurant on site. Good luck!

20/05/2026: The place is beautiful!! It's divided into two parts. You can choose to dine in the modern part or the old part!!! You can visit the caves and step back in time!!! They organize parties and events. The food? Excellent!!! If you want to taste REAL NEAPOLITAN pizza, you have to go to ERNESTO e VALENTINA! They offer various menus, you'll be spoiled for choice. Great prices! I recommend it to everyone. Quality and courtesy guaranteed.

17/06/2026: The place was highly recommended by our aparthotel host. We was seated immediately, off to great start. The waitress gave us a few moments and came took our order starters and water. Starters ans water came, was blah . Waited a few for her to come and take the second order nothing. Let me say we was the only table seated outside. Within 10 minutes Two-four tops came in she seated took their starters brought and came and took the other tables second course. We was still waiting nothing. Went inside to try and place the order at the counter nothing. Finally went back to my table to get my cash to just pay for the two starters and water. Wallah they make eye contact to take my money. Service sucks all the other reviews that said that are telling the truth. Not sure if my ethnicity was not wanted there. 🤷🏾‍♀️

13/06/2026: Restaurant in a very quiet area, away from the tourist crowds and noise, with fast and efficient service. All the food is delicious. Very reasonably priced; we stayed for five days and ate there four times for lunch and dinner. An elegant restaurant, it looks expensive but it isn't. Everything is very clean. 100% recommended. Friendly staff. The drinks are the only expensive part; the cheapest beer costs €5, but that's the price in most restaurants.

03/05/2026: We went for Sunday lunch, 4 adults and 4 children. The service was friendly and courteous. The location was beautiful, right on the waterfront with large windows. The food was excellent: fried fish; sea bass; mussels soute; "veliero" (a dish for two with tuna steak, 2 king prawns, shrimp, fried fish and chips); gnocchi with clams and mussels; wine and tiramisu. Everything was delicious. The price was reasonable.

13/05/2026: The place is beautiful and the products are good. It's a shame, however, that one bartender was rude: May 3, 2026, Sunday morning, 9:45 a.m. I came in with a friend and we sat down to have breakfast, chatting. After a few minutes, they started playing loud music. I politely asked them to turn it down a bit and was told, "If you want to talk, go outside!"

29/04/2026: If you're nearby and don't want to go downtown and spend €100 on a good meal, dessert, or wine, this is your number one choice. Everything was delicious, the service was super fast, and the place is spectacular. I'm a tourist, and I preferred this place a thousand times over eating at a restaurant downtown.

21/02/2026: I'm not focusing on the product, which I don't know, but on the person. A few days ago, I went for an interview because they were looking for a pizza chef, and the owner offered me a contract—I'll leave it up to you to judge whether it's legal or not—for 46 hours a week, 6 days a week, complaining that only foreigners show up (why are you complaining, I wonder?). I accepted it and dared to ask if she could grant me the morning shift only on Tuesdays because I needed the afternoon off to take a course I'd previously paid for, and therefore I would have been willing to work all the other days of closure. I should point out that she previously canceled a test for me without reason, the afternoon before, when I'd canceled other interviews to do it, and oh well. Then the agency, which protects her interests, called me back, telling me that the woman would like to make a new appointment for a new test, and I foolishly accepted, given certain behaviors she'd already demonstrated. So, returning to what I wrote above, faced with my futile request for Tuesday afternoons off, while still guaranteeing her the lunch shift and accepting even more hours per week than the law allows, she once again dismissed me because she wasn't happy with Tuesday afternoons off, despite all the other conditions I had accepted. Obviously, it's better this way, because if this was the appetizer, imagine the rest. However, when you talk about "poor entrepreneurs" and "people who don't want to work," keep these stories in mind, because if Italy is a country slowly dying, it's also thanks to these individuals who feel they're in the right. I will boycott this pizzeria because, like me, there are many people who want and need to work and don't deserve to be treated this way. On Monday, I'll report everything to the agency and hope they can permanently end their collaboration with this business, because this kind of mentality is the bane of this country. Thank God, I have messages and phone calls that testify to what I'm describing, and I'm sorry to say it, but only people who come from worse and more desperate living conditions can accept this kind of bullying. You deserve the perpetually empty place. Never again.

09/06/2026: This was a delightful surprise. We were referred here by the hotel an I discovered it had been on my must experience list for five years. The best gnocchi I have ever experienced! Hands down! So very friendly

08/06/2026: Everything you want after a day of walking around and seeing the sights. Fresh made pasta! The team was amazingly kind and attentive! Prices reasonably. Quaint atmosphere!

15/05/2026: After leaving our cruise ship, wondering the streets of Napoli becoming very frustrated trying to find a certain tourist attraction, my wife and I stopped. My wife suggested that we look for a cafe, since she knew that I wanted Pizza. We happened to enter Fratelli La Bufala on Via Medina, we were so fortunate to be welcomed by Jessica and seated. A gentleman at the table next to us noticed we were clueless after looking at the menu. We let him know that we were from California, USA and had no idea what to order. He made some suggestions, explaining them and when Jessica came to take our order, we instructed her to let him order for us. She was very helpful in explaining further. When our food arrived, Jessica explained how to assemble one dish and what they were. For a frustrated older American man, my stress was gone and both I and my wife were able to enjoy our meal!! The food and service provided by Jessica was outstanding!! If we weren’t leaving the same day I would definitely becoming back for more. Both my wife and I highly recommend this Pizzeria!! Enjoy
