09/12/2025: A basic pizzeria, very narrow and crowded. Large, thin pizzas with little toppings. I ordered a Margherita, but it looked like a red one, with almost no mozzarella. The waiters were friendly, unlike the owner.

12/10/2025: This is my second time here. The food is absolutely delicious, and the price is reasonable, considering you're just steps from Piazza del Popolo. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and they're always prompt in recommending dishes, even to foreigners (they wanted the carbonara with ravioli!!!!). I'm taking one star off only because of the long wait (about half an hour), which could be improved.

03/10/2025: We arrived late into Rome and were looking for some feel good food after a long day of travel. We normally try to use Google and search for restaurants 4.5 and above so La Taverna Del Costa would not make the cut based on it’s present rating. However to pasta Vongole and Mushroom/Sausage Penne were outstanding. With a half carafe if house red we had a great meal. We were met by the staff with smiles and great service. It was a humble yet warm environment, that just served the best everyday food. It deserves a much higher rating and is Excellent value.

24/10/2025: The property is located on the seafront, you step out onto the balcony and you find yourself right on the sea, the room is spacious and clean, we will definitely return.

24/09/2025: We stumbled upon it... Too '80s, thankfully clean. The packed lunch was really sad!!! Better nothing.

21/08/2025: After spending a day in Tivoli, we decided to have dinner in this little town called Marco Simone, and while searching online, we found this pizzeria that piqued our interest. Inspired by the reviews, we decided to give it a try. We bought two takeout pizzas: one with fries and the other with bresaola. What can I say? It was a real discovery: the pizzas were light and delicious, perfectly crispy, and made with quality ingredients. The prices were fair, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Well done, 5 well-deserved stars.

31/07/2025: I was passing through for work, excellent pizza, excellent quality and price, whoever happens to be there for Marco Simone, stop by, it's worth it.

17/11/2025: Takeout order I ordered a pizza with buffalo mozzarella and one with chickpeas and cod. The one with buffalo mozzarella had chunks of hard mozzarella, while the one with chickpeas and cod had no flavor at all, the nonexistent lemon, and the cod tasted like nothing. I also ordered a supplì, which arrived with a "touch" of mozzarella... Terrible experience.

16/11/2025: We had dinner with friends at this place on a Saturday night! Parking was impossible to find, so we parked on the street. The reservation was for 7:30 PM, the first shift, but we didn't expect the receipt to be brought to our table at 9 PM without asking and politely told to leave! Good pizza, with an open oven. We asked if they had lactose-free mozzarella for someone with a lactose intolerance and were told no, that they should have chosen a pizza without mozzarella. The desserts were awful; the pear and ricotta tart seemed remade. Friendly staff, fast service. I recommend putting a light in the men's room because it's a bit difficult to see where the water turns on with a small lamp. Moreover, a faucet pedal is broken and no water comes out.

26/11/2025: I stopped for lunch. I had pork shank with a side of zucchini in scapece. I also tried some delicious sautéed herbs. The small sandwiches that accompany the dish are the kind of thing you can't get enough of. The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and able to accommodate the requests of so many people almost simultaneously.

30/08/2025: Excellent place, nestled in the Pontine countryside. The rustic and pleasant atmosphere offers a very friendly welcome. The ingredients are good, including the delicious porchetta and excellent Roman-style pizzas. The service is very fast and friendly, and the location is excellent for returning from the beach. Excellent value. Recommended.
