27/11/2025: For me and my family, Piazza di Boccione has become a unit of measurement... ever since I was little, when we still had to go to the square to make phone calls from the SIP booths... no one in all these years has ever knocked it off the podium for the best pizza by the slice! Given that the red, white, and Margherita were mandatory for breakfast or to take to the beach... I have to mention my favorite of the non-classics... the gamberi!!!! Thanks for your tireless work from a true admirer!

16/09/2025: A day at the beach with the family in Lavinio to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. Before leaving and returning to Rome, the now grown-up couple expressed a desire to stop by Boccione to relive the taste of the pizza they used to buy before going to the beach as children.

17/03/2026: I'm sorry, but I won't be back. The wait was ridiculous: 1 hour and 30 minutes for a pizza (a 6). I expected more given the rating and the various reviews. The fried food, the supplì, was nothing special. The panelle were good, and the breaded mozzarella balls were delicious.

08/03/2026: Raw pizza, cold fries, and mozzarella, let's forget it. It takes +20 minutes for 3 people, €57, service €5. I'm sorry about the place, but we won't go there again.

17/05/2026: I put Pronto Chef to the test for an aperitif dinner catering event for 30 people. I already knew the food was good quality; I often buy from them when I don't feel like cooking! But what surprised me was Giorgio's skill! I trusted him with the menu, and it was a hit with both adults and children. I opted for home delivery, and this service was also impeccable: punctual, precise, clean, and courteous.

26/04/2026: We go to this bar asking for an aperitivo after lunch. The lady at the cash register, very rude and without even greeting us or looking us in the face, turns to an employee and says, "Look, this one wants something." The bartender tells us they only serve drinks with chips and peanuts. The lady says, "That's what we do, otherwise, 'take something and pay for it.'" So we realize we have to choose something to add ourselves. They have nothing at the bar, just supplì and battered anchovies. Not even a slice of pizza... and yet it says pizzeria!! When they bring our aperitivo to the table, they "forget" about the chips and peanuts... The indoor dining room is huge but completely empty, but... if you have an aperitivo, you have to sit at the dirty tables outside, in the sun, without even an umbrella... Strange that the activities to follow were packed and this was deserted... strange... The only positive aspect: the lake in front.

12/05/2026: Good pizza, punctual with orders, makes a very interesting thick pizza, it is a bit small, seating is difficult, definitely worth a stop, friendly staff.

09/05/2026: The staff is friendly, the pizza is good, there aren't many seats but you can fit in.

29/04/2026: If you're nearby and don't want to go downtown and spend €100 on a good meal, dessert, or wine, this is your number one choice. Everything was delicious, the service was super fast, and the place is spectacular. I'm a tourist, and I preferred this place a thousand times over eating at a restaurant downtown.

20/05/2026: I want to share my bad experience at this restaurant. I walked in around 10:45 PM. My friends were waiting for me, and as soon as I arrived, I asked if I could have a pizza, since they had already started eating. I was flatly refused, even though the kitchen was still open. Only later, after speaking to another waiter, who took my order, did the pizza arrive, but without cutlery or a napkin, just scissors. I ordered a water, which was brought without a glass, and I had to ask a friend for a tissue. (Photo attached) While I was eating, the cashier came to the table, a little annoyed, to bring us the bill. And as I was about to finish, I left a last bite on my plate to take a sip of water, and the waiter, without asking, took the plate right in front of me. So, annoyed, we decided to settle the accounts, go pay and leave. I went to pay first, having only ordered one pizza; the others would then add their share (calculated Roman style). As soon as I arrived, I told them what I was paying, and the cashier was abrupt and told me I had to pay 25 euros, because I would have to pay Roman style like the others or I would have to pay the entire bill. Having only ordered one pizza, I rightly didn't think it was fair to be forced to pay for what I hadn't consumed, like wine, beer, and appetizers my friends had eaten earlier, so I objected. An argument broke out, and one of my friends was attacked; the pizza chef snapped at him and started yelling. A friend of mine, exhausted by the situation, decided to pay the entire bill just to leave. But once we left the restaurant, as we were walking towards the parking lot, the owner chased us in his car, pulled over, asking if we'd had any problems, and met us in the parking lot to clarify. But at a certain point, the pizza chef appeared, along with other waiters and his cousin, surrounding us, and from there, we started another aggressive argument. I really thought it was going to end in physical altercations. It was an embarrassing situation, and it seems absurd to me that there is such staff. I've never seen such rude service, and I'll never return.

17/05/2026: Really good pizza, amazing fried food. If I could give you a tip, get the Iberian fried fish. The owner and his team are really kind and friendly.

17/04/2026: At 10:30, it's unacceptable to find only Margherita or white pizza. Two of the available filled pizzas (mortadella and vegetables) were tiny and clearly from the day before. The entire pizza was cold, including the cazzottini. The supplì? Those were also cold, displayed in a bowl with only one piece per serving: it's hard not to think they were leftovers. 😂 The most significant thing, however, is something else: no lines. A place that used to be always full is now empty, and the reason is obvious. Quality has plummeted. I won't be back!

27/03/2026: The quality has been in complete decline for a few months now. And I've ordered pizza with extras three times now, and they're always missing.

24/03/2026: One of the best pizzerias in Velletri and the surrounding area, everything is excellent, from the place to the staff, to the pizza itself. A welcoming, charming, and characteristic place, definitely worth a try!

07/05/2026: It is delicious and the pizza is big. I want to visit again next time. The staff are not friendly, but they are not rude either.

14/10/2025: We ordered pizzas and a crescione with Nutella, ricotta, and pine nuts, the latter for €7! The pizzas arrived 30 minutes late and were already cold! The crescione had no filling except for a small center! Never again!

20/05/2026: The place is beautiful!! It's divided into two parts. You can choose to dine in the modern part or the old part!!! You can visit the caves and step back in time!!! They organize parties and events. The food? Excellent!!! If you want to taste REAL NEAPOLITAN pizza, you have to go to ERNESTO e VALENTINA! They offer various menus, you'll be spoiled for choice. Great prices! I recommend it to everyone. Quality and courtesy guaranteed.
