27/07/2026: Eating with your feet in the sand and the sound of the waves in the background is a wonderful experience. Super fresh fish, exceptional raw seafood, and expertly cooked pasta dishes. A huge added bonus is the children's play area, clearly visible from the tables: it allows you to enjoy your dinner in complete relaxation. Friendly, fast, and attentive service. The price is reasonable for the excellent quality and unique location. Highly recommended!

28/05/2026: I've been there quite a few times with my family over the past few years. It's one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Rome. Very fair prices, very friendly staff, and superb quality food. The portions are also a good size. There are plenty of vegetarian options as well. The seating is pleasant.

24/07/2026: Something embarrassing... This should be a FLOWER, SPECK, AND PROVOLA pizza. Flowers seen through a telescope, full of provola and two slices of speck... A pizza that looks like it was topped by a child.

04/07/2026: I bought a box on the Good to Go app. I arrived 20 minutes late (my fault, obviously) and the app doesn't specify that it's mandatory to collect it within that quarter of an hour and that there's no minimum tolerance. Well, that's not the point. I would have understood if the place had been closed or something else, but the box was there. The clerk confirmed it was mine but that she couldn't deliver it to me because I was late and therefore this box HAD TO BE THROWN AWAY (it's an app against waste, eh?). And I wouldn't have received any kind of refund. I suggested paying for it again, but not even that because the cameras would have recorded everything. What do you mean? Me paying for my pizza that I already paid for. HURRYING. Avoid it. You can meet each other in life. Never happened anywhere else.

We enjoyed it so much that we came back three nights in a row and couldn’t have been more pleased each time. A special thank you to Zio’ and his team for taking such great care of us. 13/08/2026: We were with a group of friends visiting Rome. After a nice stroll around the city center, we came across this restaurant, which I hadn't heard of but had been recommended. The atmosphere and the outdoor tables in Borgo Pio captivated us. What can I say? Excellent traditional Roman cuisine; it's certainly not your average tourist restaurant. You could tell by the presence of other Roman customers. A wonderful discovery, definitely worth trying again. The desserts are delicious and good value. 11/08/2026: I ordered a cheesecake - delivery service - and what arrived is only cream and sirup. 8.70 eur.

09/08/2026: The manager was the rudest person I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. The waiter wouldn’t speak to us. They ignored us on several occasions when we tried to speak to them to order things. The food would have been forgettable if the overall experience wasn’t so bad that it will haunt me. Only restaurant in Rome or Florence that charged us a a service fee and it was €8. Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Really.

21/07/2026: The restaurant is well-kept with beautiful details, and the terrace is pleasant. Unfortunately, the wait for a pizza at a table of six is ​​long. The staff and service could be improved. Kind but disorganized.

20/07/2026: Terrible is an understatement. I ordered takeout from Just Eat. I placed the order at 8:20 PM and it arrived almost two hours later. 40 minutes late compared to the scheduled delivery time. After a 20-minute delay, I called the restaurant several times with no answer, then was overheard by a clearly uninterested, haughty, and inconclusive girl, who said, "Yes, yes, the pizza is arriving" without a shred of apology or anything like that. The result was frozen pizza and cold, flaky supplì. We were so hungry we had to reheat them in the microwave, with obviously terrible results. Oh, by the way, my house is 5 minutes from the restaurant, and when I called, I was told the delivery driver was in Settebagni. Maybe they should hire more delivery drivers or revise the delivery routes. Never, never, never again.

08/12/2025: While looking for some Christmas gifts at the next-door store, "PotereNerd," we tried the pizzeria on the corner. It was a pleasant discovery! I'll start with the supplí, which I absolutely adore: they didn't have that overly salty flavor typical of pre-fried products, and in fact they're homemade. The pepper ones were also good, with the distinct flavor of the spice. The pizza, crunchy on the base and with just the right amount of toppings, didn't bother my palate. I'm not a particularly refined palate, but often when they use mixes, it burns. In this case, I didn't have any problems, so I'd say the dough was made with water, flour, and yeast, which isn't always a given. The red pizza was superb. What can I say? If you're in the area, it's worth a try.

15/10/2025: I ordered a 4-cheese pizza and a Margherita, both really delicious! They arrived hot and in perfect condition. The delivery service was prompt and very convenient. Recommended! 🍕

10/05/2026: The owner is incompetent and attached to money. An hour-long wait in a crowded restaurant for not even a single dish. Next time, it would be wise to carefully evaluate the restaurant's capacity before accepting so many people.

18/07/2026: To our pleasant surprise, we found food at this little spot, late at night, when restaurant kitchens no longer serve. We found simple, trattoria-style dishes, as well as crepes and warm filled croissants.
