The Sweet Life Cafe - Ludovisi - Rome

17/05/2026: I do not recommend this place. Beyond the reception area, it felt more like a hospital than a hotel.
My friend and I stayed here for two nights, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The bedding was uncomfortable, there were no proper duvets, just random blankets stuffed into sheets that weren’t even fitted properly. The floors were dirty, and the bathroom door didn’t have a lock.
Thin walls, just horrible basically.
Stay elsewhere, literally anywhere else lol
23/04/2026: Unfortunately, even though the service was excellent—the staff were all extremely friendly—and the location was excellent, I have to give the property one star for value.
There was noise both inside and especially outside day and night, and finally, the bed had a very hard and uncomfortable mattress.

06/06/2026: Lunch or dinner... it makes no difference... pizza, pinsa, first courses, salads, and coffee... table service... everything very good, and the staff is top-notch.
I recommend stopping by.

19/05/2026: It was always my favorite pizzeria in the neighborhood until a few years ago, but recently I've found the service has deteriorated, especially for takeout. Most of the times I've arranged a pick-up time, the wait has always been 10 minutes or more. Three times I've called for a pizza and been given a different one. Fortunately, the quality has remained the same; the pizza and supplì are very good.

30/04/2026: I decided to write this review to add photos of the menu, considering that the most recent ones were six years old.
The restaurant is nice, very casual, and the food was good, but nothing special. My only complaint was that we ordered the house wine and they brought us a bottle. The strange thing was that the waiter came to the table three times, uncorked the bottle, and then, looking confused, returned behind the counter to get a new bottle. Who knows. The wine didn't seem very good, in fact.
In conclusion: €68 for two wasn't worth it, not because it was a lot for what we ate, but because of its quality.

08/05/2026: Terrible atmosphere, as soon as we entered no one welcomed us and when we asked if there was a place we received a rude response with an aggressive tone, a very bad experience, I hope the owners take action against that rude waiter.
08/05/2026: A pleasant experience, a comfortable and familiar atmosphere, numerous types of dough and sophisticated flavors. The waiters, especially Marco, are exemplary in their kindness and professionalism.

08/02/2026: A family-friendly place, you can feel right at home; method and heart go into everything you eat, fragrant and balanced pizza.
I recommend the red gorgonzola pizza, truly delicious!! The fries are amazing, but the real highlight is the arancino!!!! Sublime, I'd say it's on par with Sicily. Signora Gina and her arancino won me over ❤️ top!

17/05/2026: I put Pronto Chef to the test for an aperitif dinner catering event for 30 people. I already knew the food was good quality; I often buy from them when I don't feel like cooking! But what surprised me was Giorgio's skill! I trusted him with the menu, and it was a hit with both adults and children.
I opted for home delivery, and this service was also impeccable: punctual, precise, clean, and courteous.

26/05/2026: After walking around the Ostia Antico in the heat, it was nice to sit in the shade surrounded by fragment plants and enjoy a reasonably priced 2 course lunch. I had the Caprese salad and Eggplant parmesan. It was just what I needed!
20/05/2026: Quirky restaurant with extensive menu, we had pizza and they were lovely. Service patchy but host was good.
