11/04/2026: Since I live in the area, I occasionally insist on returning to this pizzeria, but it just keeps getting worse.
It's hard to understand why they don't commit to using at least average-quality products, yet they persist in making croquettes with potato starch, using extremely low-quality cured meats, and only using frozen or canned products on their pizzas. And above all, they find young, unwilling people serving at the counter.
A real shame.

23/04/2026: Unfortunately, even though the service was excellent—the staff were all extremely friendly—and the location was excellent, I have to give the property one star for value.
There was noise both inside and especially outside day and night, and finally, the bed had a very hard and uncomfortable mattress.

The pizzas arrived 30 minutes late and were already cold!
The crescione had no filling except for a small center!
Never again!

I was passing through for work, and I found this pizza to be very good and easy to digest. Their product marketing strategy is also spot on: smaller pizzas and a huge selection. You can choose from a variety of pizzas with different toppings, and the bill is very reasonable.
Excellent staff, quick and courteous.
20/03/2026: A great idea for an unexpected pizza dinner. You can spend little and try different flavors.
My favorite has always been the cold one with cherry tomatoes and porcini mushrooms ❤️

04/05/2026: This little place on Tuscolana Street, across from the "Giulio Agricola" metro line A stop, was a perfect spot, as our hotel is nearby. We stumbled upon this place by chance. Fabulous food, both in-house and takeout. It's impossible to choose just one flavor... excellent!!
The only downside: the staff. A bit arrogant, and quite tense with each other.

The owner is the sweetest man ever. Their quality is the best I’ve had in Rome and they always serve your pizza fresh. 10/10 recommend

17/02/2026: The reception staff are very friendly, but unfortunately, the restaurant staff are not as helpful and inflexible with changes. The rooms are spacious and the furniture is a bit dated, but comfortable. It's close to a train station.

29/03/2026: Welcoming, clean, and modern. The two of us had water and wine from Circe Cantina S'Andrea, 1 supplì, 2 croquettes, then 2 Neapolitan pizzas, 1 Diavola, and 1 Margherita, and finally 1 limoncello and 1 grappa.
I have to say everything was good, the quality is there.
A small aside, for me, the only flaw is the drinks, which are expensive. As for the food, I repeat, if the quality is there, it's within range.

17/12/2025: The food is simple, but worth the price. The atmosphere is great. The service makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. It's worth stopping by for breakfast or an evening snack and a drink. This is a place where you'll feel like you're part of Rome. The better part 😉

15/08/2025: Clean beach, clear water and superb view💖Mariella and her whole family were great to us. We rented a cabin and they were very helpful, smiling and welcoming. We thank them very much and hope to return soon.

It would be nice, however, when you look up at the counter and say hello to the bartender, to be greeted with a smile or a "good evening" or "ciao."
Not with a nod as if to say "what do you want?" 🤷🏻♂️

07/11/2025: I can only report the bar service, having not used anything else. The food was of good quality and carefully prepared. The location/view of the valley below was beautiful, with sun shining on the tables inside.
Outdoor parking is a bit limited, but there is also an area in front of the church entrance.

11/04/2026: So glad we stumbled upon this place at just the right time today! I can't speak to the dinner service, because we only grabbed a pizza and some wine earlier in the day. But we found Ponzi to be an unassuming and authentic pizzeria/trattoria with delicious pizza, quick service, and uninflated prices. Speaking to the authenticity and value, multiple groups of actual Italians were our fellow patrons. In fact, this is one of the only establishments in Rome so far where I've heard more Italian than other languages.
09/04/2026: Emilia was super friendly to me, the food is perfect (very authentic Italian), it's not expensive (4 cheese pizza + limoncello + tiramisu) €22
It's totally worth it! You can even make a quick stop at Santa Maria Maggiore to take a picture.
