07/10/2025: Walking around Rome is impressive, but arriving at this restaurant and having the privilege and luck of being served by Jordan as if you were a brother or a father is the best thing I take from Rome. 500 photos of essential places to visit, but the truly important and essential ones are these 2 and others with him in the restaurant where I have been treated like at home. A little piece of Spain in Rome. You are il cappo Jordan.

07/10/2025: We have been in Rome for three days and two of them we had dinner here, the pizzas were delicious and the service was excellent. If I returned to Rome I would come back here, very friendly service with the customer and Jordan who served us was very friendly and familiar, thank you for everything and see you soon.

15/09/2025: I planned a weekend in Soriano with a group of friends and chose Taverna dei Frati. It's a beautiful place, and you immediately feel at ease. The staff is knowledgeable, and the owner is kind and friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Soriano.

12/10/2025: It's possible. Even though it's Sunday lunchtime... the codfish "alla contadina" was excellent... and a stroke of luck... I found porcini mushrooms and chanterelles... I recommend the porcini salad if you like their aroma... always remember to ask if they're sautéed or whole for the roasted ones... you'll have to decide... otherwise, everything else was fine... The owners were super kind, and their staff even more so... I forgot about the view of Rome... perfect.

27/08/2025: I dined at this restaurant a few nights ago to try the Pinsa. The Hard-boiled Pinsa and the Capricciosa were terrible. All the ingredients were of the lowest quality, and overall, both Pinsas were disgusting! The ham was off-color, the salami slice was fatty and too thin, the tomato tasted like nothing, as did the artichoke, egg, and pancetta. Furthermore, they write on the menu that the water is microfiltered, but instead they served us slightly chilled water that tasted like tap water. Truly a terrible experience; I wonder how they can keep up with such disgusting food. I understand a tourist from the other side of the world who might not realize what they're eating (either because they're tired or hungry after a long day), but I hope a Roman will immediately realize that this is a place to avoid! Instead, I recommend the Pinsa at Gran Caffè Roma, which I tried a couple of weeks ago. The new management makes an exceptional Pinsa Amatriciana with quality ingredients and delicious tomatoes. Not like these makeshift ones. Photos and receipt attached.

18/09/2025: The Funghi e Provola was the tastiest pizza in Rome. The service was very friendly, but apparently not used to English-speaking tourists (which wasn't a problem).

02/10/2025: It's a pizzeria by the slice. The pizza, first courses, and second courses are excellent, with a different menu every day. For me, the pizza is the best in Rome.

21/09/2025: Great experience. Relaxing Saturday evening. Exquisite Neapolitan pizza. I had the "Papillon," which was a constant surprise. Three different flavors: parmigiana, sausage, and broccoli rabe, with a ricotta filling in the center, arugula, parmesan shavings, and prosciutto on top. Delicious! The place is welcoming and comfortable. The owner is friendly, the pizza chef is excellent, and thanks to the waiter Marco.

19/09/2025: Tried pasta Carbonara. The dish was extremely over-salted, so much in fact that I was not able to finish it. This is even without mentioning the fact that the spaghetti were undercooked. And to top it, when I complained to the waiter, their reaction resembled something along the lines of “Ah, too bad, we apologise”. Didn’t offer to bring me another dish.

28/09/2025: I had dinner on the 27th...we only had 2 pizzas. The place was a complete waste of time, I counted 7 waiters, all of them blinding me, I felt like I was suffocating. Finally, I asked for a drowned white truffle, they brought it to me with chocolate. P, s I called to book, they can't find my reservation..., boo

28/09/2025: This restaurant was a great find! Not only is the pasta homemade, but the bread and desserts, too! Everything was delicious, with generous portions, fast service, and friendly staff! The prices are fair, we'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it!

07/10/2025: A corner of home in the streets of the medieval historic center We often eat at this restaurant because we like the food and we feel at home. The staff is fast, precise and accurate and the food is always of excellent quality. We love the tagliata with lard and whenever we want it we eat it there: abundant, perfect and with two side dishes included in the price. Roberto and his family are truly a rare pearl of catering. We go there often and we also really like the pizza!

18/10/2025: We discovered this business by chance several years ago and continue to frequent it whenever we're in the area. Maurizio is a delightful, dedicated, and highly professional person, who, along with his staff, is always attentive to customer needs.

16/09/2025: I have to say, I'm always happy to have an excuse to come for a "Group Pizza Party" with friends, classmates, or family. The food is delicious and the prices are fair. The service and the waiters are excellent and available for everything. Recommended if you want to enjoy a good pizza dinner as a couple or group before going out to the square, since it's very close by car or on foot (4 minutes by car, 15 minutes on foot).
