03/03/2025: There are two restaurants adjacent to each other - takeaway one serves pizza by slice but be mindful that the prices listed are for kgs - yes the pizza is priced as per weight and the regular slice could anywhere be around 5euros - in pics we got two slices of mozzarella with basil and it costed us some 8-9 euros

07/03/2025: The centocelle pizzas are those of Giustina, just say pizzas and the mind goes to those of Giustina. Quality and goodness go hand in hand, they are exceptional. There must also be a reason why if you don't book them you will hardly be able to taste them without a bit of waiting.

27/02/2025: Really bad experience We ordered 4 supplì, 2 pizzas and 2 carbonaras. The pizzas with carbonara arrived first and then the supplì. A half burnt pizza and carbonara full of pecorino. The bill included 8 supplì (they gave us our money back) and an extra beer but we noticed this when we were already at home (for a total of 12 euros more!) Parking unobtainable Received... needless to say And anyway too many positive reviews 🤔

27/03/2025: Very nice authentic restaurent, very tasty food, the old granpa of the familly is still arround, he collected matchboxes left by customers and framed them on the walls, therefore the name of the restaurent ;-)

31/03/2025: Delicious food (the arrabbiata was a real highlight!), good portion sizes and really friendly service. The theme gave a nice vibe to the restaurant. Definitely worth checking out as it wasn't as busy as some of the other restaurants on the strip and we had a great time.

23/03/2025: Excellent pizzas, spaghetti carbonara was a delight. We went there several times during the week. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and accommodating (dining in or takeout). We highly recommend this pizzeria in Trastevere.

A pizza like I have RARELY eaten (...and I have eaten!): quality of ingredients, care in plating, excellent digestibility. It's a shame to live far from Rome...but highly recommended! In summer the summer garden must be wonderful!

07/03/2025: We came across this pizzeria near our hotel through a Google search as we didn't want to go downtown looking for a place in the chaos of Rome on a Friday night. A fantastic surprise to find such a clean, small and familiar place in a residential area far from the centre. Delicious and very digestible pizza and appetizers, as well as exquisite homemade desserts. The cherry on the cake is the welcome of Giuseppe, a super kind and professional chef who enchants you and encourages you to taste the dishes by describing the ingredients and the way they are cooked. Surely when we return to Rome we will come without hesitation to try other dishes on the menu and to see Giuseppe again, the most precious ingredient of the restaurant.

16/02/2025: Came in to purchase cigarettes and use the bathroom, offered to buy coffee or food to be able to use WC, however were refused in a super rude way. Both the lady in charge of the till and the waiter were disrespectful and were extremely terrified of the possibility that someone could use their toilet, even if they’re willing to purchase food solely for that reason. Rude and inconsiderate, terrible place with poor looking food & horrible service. Would never recommend.

11/02/2025: Llegamos a la trattoria Il Lucano en familia, el camarero fue muy atento con cada uno de nosotros. La comida estuvo espectacular, recomiendo la lasagne di carne y los spaghetti alla carbonara. Sin duda volvería a repetir.
