16/11/2025: Last night we attended an 18th birthday party, and what can I say... excellent food, truly exceptional professionalism, and customer service. Besides being a guest, I set up the room in the afternoon, and they also provided cordial support. Before the cake, we wanted to show a video, and they were also ready to help if we needed an extension cord, power cord, or anything else. I mentioned their kindness before, because it's rare to find staff like that. The food was excellent.

11/11/2025: We came back here for our last meal of the trip. We ordered the spaghetti Carbonara and spaghetti with pesto twice because they were so delicious. The pesto is very flavorful, homemade with quality ingredients; I've never had such an excellent one. The tiramisu is quite good, very light and airy. The waiters are a bit gruff, but I highly recommend it!

08/10/2025: The food is excellent; try the homemade pasta (superb) and the meat (good and well-cooked), obviously with a cascade of porcini mushrooms. The place is a bit dated and could use some more tidiness; there are only a few tables. The wild strawberries in Nemi are a must; they're also available here, but I had mine overlooking the lake (spectacular).

I had the pleasure of enjoying a plate of homemade fettuccine with wild boar, which was a true masterpiece. The pasta, with its perfect texture, embraced a rich, flavorful sauce, with the wild boar adding a rustic, delicate touch to the dish. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that made me feel instantly immersed in the local gastronomic tradition. Next, the suckling pig platter was a real treat. The tender and flavorful meat melted in your mouth, its flavor reflecting the care taken in selecting the ingredients and preparing them. The platter was enriched with a selection of excellent cheeses, which, accompanied by a jam, perfectly complemented the experience. Every bite was a journey through authentic and genuine flavors. The combination of fresh ingredients, culinary expertise, and impeccable hospitality makes Le Scalette a must-visit for anyone who wants to savor the true cuisine of Nemi. 02/12/2025: Outside, on Via Bergamo, the line is already a declaration of love: patient people, customers constantly pouring out laden with bags, the door that never closes in time... Inside, "I Molisani" is a small treasure chest crammed with baking trays, steam, voices, and aromas that smell more like home than a "trendy" place. I went there to buy vegetables, but I admit that the fried foods are a spectacle, and all that goodness staring at you from the window puts any diet plan on hold. The vegetables I bought aren't just a leaf to clear your conscience. The puntarelle, seasoned to perfection, with garlic that doesn't ask for permission but takes center stage, are excellent, and the chicory, bitter and just the right amount, reminds you that Roman cuisine can be both rough and tender in the same forkful. The lasagna deserves a chapter all its own, with generous portions, well-defined layers, a flavorful sauce, and, above all, none of the minimalism of nouvelle cuisine. Here, the "teglia" (a dish of bread) is an institution, and you can see why it's one of the most popular dishes: it's the classic thing you grab "to share" and then end up holding on to. The beauty of "I Molisani" is that it doesn't make a fuss, it's about substance. It's a real diner, with the pace, rhythm, and humanity of a place where you come to eat well, spend a fair amount, and feel, for a moment, part of a neighborhood. The line outside the little shop isn't a nuisance: it's the prelude to lunch, a sign that something truly good is happening there. And every time I leave here, I tell myself that certain Roman institutions should be protected by law.

15/11/2025: I ordered a buffet for a party. I got sandwiches, pizzas, and desserts, and everything was delicious. I received so many compliments from many of the guests! The delivery was prompt and precise.

17/10/2025: Experience (now several years) with Ciani, always impeccable! Party for 30 children and as many adults, a catering success. Mini sandwiches made like this are unmatched anywhere else, the brownie is out of this world, the presentation is top notch, and they even deliver. Last but not least, Paolo is incredibly kind! 💜

18/11/2025: I was here for a birthday dinner, and what can I say...excellent food, equally excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The first courses were exquisite; the rigatoni with ragù sauce was something you could mop up. The second course, with zucchini and guanciale, was appetizing and flavorful just right. The pasta was cooked al dente and was a pleasure to eat. The second courses were a rare tagliata (you can ask for it any way you like), tender and flavorful. The hamburger was generous, cooked to perfection, and the meat was top-quality. The side dishes, starting with the baked potatoes (the best), moving on to the chicory, and finishing with the fried scallop shells...truly plentiful and delicious. I'll conclude with the appetizer :) by saying that the cured meats and cheeses were top-quality, so good that I ordered several portions, accompanied by a warm focaccia that was soft and crispy just right. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations. (I'm sorry I didn't attach any photos, but as a guest I didn't think it was elegant to take any.)

16/11/2025: A wonderful experience. We stopped by for lunch with my sister-in-law and niece. The menu was excellent, the staff was kind and friendly, the portions were generous, and the bill was reasonable. I would recommend it to everyone. If I were to ever be in the area again, I would gladly return. Thanks to all the staff.
