08/07/2026: The place is truly enchanting, especially in the summer thanks to the large outdoor lawn, perfect for those with children (the indoor space is more intimate and suitable for winter). Another positive note is the variety and quality of the pizzas, cooked in a wood-fired oven. ​Unfortunately, the experience is ruined by very slow and disorganized service. Waiting over an hour and a half for food, receiving pizzas in staggered portions, or, worse, having someone's order forgotten is unacceptable. We hope they can improve the dining room management, because the place deserves a lot.

24/06/2026: Rustic, typical pizzeria atmosphere. Excellent service! We went for our class's end-of-year dinner, and the owner was incredibly good at handling both kids and adults! The pizzas are delicious, and they make them in giant sizes to serve as a centerpiece for everyone 😉

02/07/2026: We survived (with joy) the end-of-year school party. Foreword: I was there as a parent, so I was already psychologically prepared for a buffet of frozen croquettes and desperate wine. But no, a total surprise. A varied appetizer with more courses than a tired parent can count while yelling "stop running" at a child overexcited by sugar. Quality ingredients, meticulous preparation: something that almost made me forget why I was there. Then came the pizza, in various flavors, all excellent, but let's face it: the real star of the evening was the dough. So locally sourced that they literally make the wheat themselves. And the preparation? "Exquisite" is an offensive term: here we're talking about dough that deserves a lifetime achievement award. Drinks were included in the menu (a detail every parent is deeply appreciative of, given the state of their wallets at the end of the school year), and the grand finale was a Nutella pizza and coffee, just to make sure no child slept before midnight. Highly recommended. One of the best pizzas in the area, it survived the crossfire of thirty screaming children, almost twice as many exhausted parents, and the teachers, but ultimately, they were delighted. I highly recommend making a reservation.

22/07/2026: A casual pizzeria with some classic seafood dishes. Very popular in Torvaianica. If you don't book, it's hard to find a table. It's a regular stop for us. The presentation and flavors are very reminiscent of my childhood.

20/07/2026: A place where I noticed friendly waiters, quick with the dishes, and hardworking, but unfortunately the place was unsanitary. I brought family and friends—there were many of us—and we ate appetizers displayed in the restaurant that you could help yourself to, a few pasta dishes, and a few other items. The next day we were all sick! So much so that I had to take someone to the emergency room! I was a gentleman for not reporting what happened. Because obviously I have no quarrel with the kitchen staff or those who work there, but the fact remains that the food is poor quality. And health comes first. Oh, and be careful with fish, especially at the appetizer buffet. It was truly a nightmare. I'm sorry.

27/04/2026: If you are anywhere in the Sabina, do not miss La Taverna Del Tiranno. This was one of the most memorable meals we’ve had in Italy. We started with the Jewish-style meatballs—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. One of the standout dishes was a green spaghetti with friarielli and Cantabrian anchovies, finished with something delicately crumbled on top—completely unique, incredibly flavorful, and unlike anything we’ve had before. The pizzas (Ramolaccia and “Tasty One”) were outstanding: perfectly cooked, creative, and packed with flavor. There were also plenty of thoughtful vegetarian and vegan options, and the vegetable medley we ordered was fresh, vibrant, and clearly prepared with care. Dessert sealed it—an exceptional tiramisu and a panna cotta with caramel that was silky and unforgettable. What truly sets this place apart is the service. It feels deeply personal, like every dish matters and every guest is genuinely welcomed. You can taste the passion in the food and feel it in the experience. Highly recommended.
