22/07/2025: I must say I had a good cappuccino and an excellent cereal croissant for breakfast...so I also had lunch since I was working at the courthouse. Everything was excellent.

07/09/2025: Top pizzeria! Think twice about ordering a whole pizza. It was only years of practise and a deep desire not to look soft that got me through the whole thing. Lovely people, very popular with the locals which has to mean a lot here!

22/08/2025: I've been going to Pizzeria IZZI for 15 years now, and the pizza is always better! Nadia, the daughter of the legendary Agostino, is now in charge. Even though she's retired, she can't stay away from her beloved pizzeria! Alessandro, at the counter, is the new added value! Always kind and polite to everyone! The menu is varied, the dough is light, and the ingredients are quality! Highly recommended!

02/12/2025: Two experiences, one on Monday and one on Saturday. On Monday, there were three of us. The place was very nice, the service was fast and friendly, but the fried food was too greasy and the pizza was saltless. On Saturday, there were seven of us. We were in the "outside" area, which was closed but outside, and it was very, very cold even with two sweaters. The pizza was good, but the service was very slow. The meat, however, was delicious!!! Congratulations. So, I'd say it's a good place during the week for a night out with friends. Weekends are very busy, so I wouldn't recommend it.

11/11/2025: Very, very good fried foods and desserts. The owners are very kind and helpful. Personally, I'm not crazy about the pizza. There's something about the dough, the leavening, the cooking, or the combination of all three that makes it a bit chewy.

20/09/2025: The best way to welcome me and my family when we arrived in Rome, as it was near to our hotel. Pizza is extremely delicious. Light and just prepared right. Full of flavour and the price was even better. The owner speaks multiple languages too, so everyone can be served when coming to this place.

15/11/2025: I have never eaten such a bad pizza in my life... indigestible, the tall red one full of yeast, the low and raw white one... I absolutely do not recommend it!

28/10/2025: We were customers, but starting tonight, we won't be going to the restaurant again. My wife has a nut allergy, and the menu clearly specifies the allergens. After ordering, out of caution, my wife asks for confirmation, and in response, the staff, clearly unprepared, starts going back and forth with the kitchen, removing items from our order, until finally telling us we couldn't eat anything on the menu, not even pizza! One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. We got up on the way out, and they even asked us to pay for the Coke we didn't consume. Edit: I'm even more shocked by the restaurant's response... everything we ordered was marked as not containing nuts on the menu. If, upon closer inspection, the information turns out otherwise, this leaves me not only perplexed but also alarmed! If a restaurant, as you call it, "scrupulously" indicates that foods are allergy-safe, they can't then tell the customer that what they ordered actually contains nuts. If your flour, bread, or whatever else contains allergens, you must indicate so. This isn't an "Italian controversy," but rather food safety. I also find the response, "You've always eaten it, you could have continued to do so," abhorrent and unworthy of a response.

04/10/2025: We tried this pizzeria under new management, and the pizza was truly excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We'll also try the delicious dishes we saw passing by while we waited.

I have visited Rome several times, and this place has become my absolute favourite, a true home away from home. The quality of the food is simply phenomenal. Everything is prepared with evident passion and the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend trying the Pizza Margherita—it was the best I’ve ever had, perfectly executed and full of flavour. Their pasta is always perfectly al dente, and the wine selection is excellent. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the incredible atmosphere and the genuinely warm service. The staff treat every guest like family. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and create a cozy, welcoming environment. A personal highlight for me is that we are always offered their fantastic, complimentary Lemon Sorbet (Sorbetto al Limone) at the end of the meal. It’s the perfect, refreshing conclusion to a beautiful dinner and a wonderful example of their exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. This is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience the true taste and heart of Rome. Highest recommendation! We will definitely be back again and again.

09/11/2025: Pizza served on two generously sized plates, with good dough and quality ingredients (it was my first time trying nettle pizza, and I have to say it didn't disappoint). The fried foods were also very good, especially the various types of supplì. Friendly staff, good value.

06/11/2025: I was truly impressed by this gluten-free bakery; finally, a place where you can be spoiled for choice. The products are incredibly fresh, fragrant, and incredibly delicious—you'd almost be forgiven for thinking they're gluten-free. I won't list what I ate and how good it was, because there's no need for proof. I'll just say that you can taste and see the passion, research, and love for the craft behind it. Highly recommended not only for celiacs, but for anyone who loves authentic flavors and artisanal quality. A go-to place for gluten-free options, just a 10-15 minute walk from Rome Tiburtina Station.

06/11/2025: It's been a while since I bought anything because I wasn't thrilled with the quality. I tried again tonight. The rice balls were barely adequate, while the potato croquettes were inedible and ended up in the trash.

You immediately feel at ease as soon as you sit down at the table. The extensive menu offers primarily seafood dishes: appetizers, first courses, and second courses (some meat-based dishes are also available), side dishes, and pizzas. There's also a wide selection of wines, with selections from every region of Italy. There's a dedicated dessert menu, offering artisanal desserts, sorbets, and gelato. The seafood appetizer is truly exquisite, flavorful, and made with fresh, authentic ingredients. The first courses are very tasty: carefully prepared, they enhance the flavors and freshness of the fish. The combinations of ingredients are also excellent. The second course, the calamari 'vopiatto', is also delicious. It's a tasty seafood dish typical of the local tradition. The artisanal desserts are delicious: as delicious in taste as they are beautiful in appearance. The staff is kind and very friendly, starting with the phone reservation. They make you feel at ease and offer attentive customer service.

12/10/2025: The pizza resembles a stuffed sandwich, rubbery, tasteless, and undercooked. An experience not to be repeated. What a shame!!!
