07/09/2025: Top pizzeria! Think twice about ordering a whole pizza. It was only years of practise and a deep desire not to look soft that got me through the whole thing. Lovely people, very popular with the locals which has to mean a lot here!

22/08/2025: I've been going to Pizzeria IZZI for 15 years now, and the pizza is always better! Nadia, the daughter of the legendary Agostino, is now in charge. Even though she's retired, she can't stay away from her beloved pizzeria! Alessandro, at the counter, is the new added value! Always kind and polite to everyone! The menu is varied, the dough is light, and the ingredients are quality! Highly recommended!

14/10/2025: Good place, friendly staff, but I didn't like the pizza, my kids did. But they're Roman. I'm not.

27/09/2025: Super pizza, good value for money, unfortunately I don't like going there, you come out with a very strong cooking smell in your hair, on your clothes, basically you have to do a total wash of yourself and everything you have on!!!

12/10/2025: Pizza by the slice and round pizza—try both, with different doughs—they're spectacular, easy to digest, and come in a variety of flavors! Handmade fried food deserves top marks! The supplì are incredible! A must-try!

02/10/2025: We get takeout pizza here every Wednesday night, and it's fabulous! The flavors are varied and always excellent, with a crunchy bottom and soft top—a guarantee!

19/10/2025: The "sfizi di mare" appetizer is good, the fried calamari and shrimp are tasty, the "Albatros" pizza is decent, the grilled fish is very good, the berry cheesecake is excellent, and the "o Baba" is good. The quality/price ratio is good. The restaurant has been renovated and made modern, pleasant, and clean. The service is good. 4 out of 5 stars, in my opinion.

19/09/2025: More than an idea, it was a mistake 🤢 We happened upon Cocciano by chance. We ordered a few slices of pizza. Shortly afterward, we noticed a strange, bitter, rotten taste in our mouths. Poor-quality ingredients sold at high prices as if they were good quality (but literally, poor quality). Immediate closure!

24/06/2025: Da moltissimi anni i tranci di pizza li porto a casa mia o di amici, anche lontano da Frascati, l'accoglienza e il gradimento sono sempre al top. I gusti sono numerosi e tutti con prodotti di alto livello e costantemente buoni, mai registrato un calo nell'impasto, nella cottura o nella guarnizione che è sempre abbondante e di qualità. Talvolta ho prenotato un ritiro per telefono e il confezionamento è stato effettuato in mia presenza, aggiungendo magari qualche altro trancio con gusti nuovi visto sul banco. La pizza bianca, poi, è buonissima e nel surgelatore ne ho sempre una scorta. I gusti che meglio rendono evidente la qualità, preferiti da me e dai miei amici, sono con la cicoria, la porchetta, la verdura grigliata, quasi inesistenti in altre pizzerie. Il bello è che, come al bar dove vai tutte le mattine, il Personale conosce già le mie preferenze. Anche i fritti sono molto buoni e preparati sul momento. L'organizzazione conta molto in un locale con così ampia scelta, l'attesa non è mai lunga, la cortesia è un altro punto a favore di Pizza Idea di Cocciano - Frascati.

18/11/2025: Truly excellent pizza by the slice, one of those that makes you want to try everything in the display as soon as you walk in. The crust is perfectly crispy, light yet flavorful, and each slice is generously topped with well-balanced toppings. You can tell they've put a lot of care into both the ingredients and the preparation: nothing improvised, everything done right. And then there are the supplì... truly spectacular. They're one of the restaurant's true highlights: crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, with a flavorful and well-seasoned filling. You can tell they're handmade, and they're not the bland supplì you find in many places. These are supplì that take you back to childhood, the ones that release aroma and flavor as soon as you open them. Practically irresistible: you'd eat ten of them without realizing it. The only slightly less exciting thing is the prices, which are slightly higher than the local average. We're not talking about exorbitant prices, but it's definitely a place that focuses more on quality than on savings. The good news, however, is that the quality-price ratio remains fair: what you pay for, you get in the taste and freshness of the products.

14/11/2025: I placed an order for home delivery. I can assure you that, two kilometers away without traffic, an hour's delay is too much. The pizza arrived cold. On the plus side, it was very good after reheating. A word of advice: don't make deliveries unless you're equipped.

15/11/2025: Food is the reason most people choose a restaurant, and while it's true that we're now more or less aligned with a medium-high quality standard, people choose it for other reasons as well. I personally come to ReTrombone every now and then, but since I have my own restaurant, I don't have time, at least in the summer. I can tell you that having a place where the people serving you are kind, polite, competent, and "absolutely delicious." I didn't mention the owner Alessandro in the review because he doesn't deserve it, 🤣 I'm kidding, all the credit goes to him. Well done guys. Excellent service. ...

The extensive menu offers primarily seafood dishes: appetizers, first courses, and second courses (some meat-based dishes are also available), side dishes, and pizzas. There's also a wide selection of wines, with selections from every region of Italy. There's a dedicated dessert menu, offering artisanal desserts, sorbets, and gelato. The seafood appetizer is truly exquisite, flavorful, and made with fresh, authentic ingredients. The first courses are very tasty: carefully prepared, they enhance the flavors and freshness of the fish. The combinations of ingredients are also excellent. The second course, the calamari 'vopiatto', is also delicious. It's a tasty seafood dish typical of the local tradition. The artisanal desserts are delicious: as delicious in taste as they are beautiful in appearance. The staff is kind and very friendly, starting with the phone reservation. They make you feel at ease and offer attentive customer service.

27/10/2025: If you come to this place, be very patient with the wait: when it was full, I had to wait a good hour and a half for a pizza. Now I wanted to try again because it's human to err, but I had to change my mind because our table was freed right away. Something arrived quickly, but after over an hour of waiting, nothing had arrived. The lady serving us was very kind, but patience has a limit. It's not possible that it takes two hours to get a pizza. You need to organize yourself with more staff, or if you can't make more than a certain number of pizzas per hour, you should not take reservations and seat people because that's not fair. I didn't say you're not working, but it's respectable and honest to warn those who come for a pizza that they'll have to wait a certain amount of time to get one, rather than immediately giving them a table and then making them wait hours. It's right that customers know the waiting times.

26/10/2025: A typical Roman pizzeria with a pleasant 1990s atmosphere. The pizza, dessert, and appetizers left me indifferent. I might have even given it a star more if they hadn't forgotten to give you a receipt.
