28/01/2025: I have been to this pizza restaurant many times, it is the only place where my daughter also eats the pizza crust, and this says a lot! The pizza dough is very light and they are seasoned properly with quality raw materials. Nice location and wood-fired oven. Saturday night is very busy, so it's best to book.

16/01/2025: Very busy, distracted staff. The pizza dough is not bad, but the toppings, paired in a questionable way, are scarce and are very salty. As if that wasn't enough, the place is very expensive: €41 for two pizzas, a still water and a beer.

03/02/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance. We were traveling on the Via Flacca. We had two fish first courses, two fried dishes and some side dishes. The quality of the food is good. Unfortunately the very long wait for the first courses, an hour, really ruined our day. If we hadn't asked about our dishes, no one would come and tell us anything. Only after our complaint, the owner came to us. But what we regret the most is that, by having a table near the door, we were able to monitor the entrance of customers well. And honestly it bothered us a lot to see that several people who came after us, 'local people', were served first. It really isn't done that way!

05/02/2025: We found ourselves there by pure chance and it was a very pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is super familiar, even if a little crowded, probably thanks to the excellent cuisine. To complete the picture, an extremely kind staff and an excellent price. Super recommended!

Fortunately, always in their place and increasingly better, but enriched by the kindness of the daughter and all the staff. Table of 16 people where we all ate at the same time, which is truly rare on such chaotic occasions, especially on a Saturday and with 16 different pizzas. Cleanliness and attention to gluten-free (a place like this is truly precious for a celiac), as frequenters of AIC venues, we must say that we are talking about excellence, as demonstrated by the various certificates issued by the annual inspections. The double kitchen is a guarantee and the surcharges for the products do not make you cry at the checkout. The latest reviews may have been the result of an unlucky evening (and I can cause a mix-up), it can also happen, but they must absolutely not undermine the respectability of a place where you can breathe passion and attention towards the customer, respect for those who work in this way. TOP, the more than positive experience made us say "we have to come back more often damn"

24/01/2025: Very friendly staff, good gluten-free fried foods but the gluten-free pizza tasted like the wooden cutting board on which it was served.

22/02/2025: The first courses are all the same, the pre-cooked pasta is put on the plate and then they add the seasoning, it is not stirred. Bad seconds. The bill was really excessive and as a gift my friends and I received a great trip to the bathroom... Don't go, I strongly advise against it, terrible in every way, from the cuisine to the poor service and the bill. Avoid it.

12/12/2024: Good food, very nice and equally well-kept environment; Polite and very helpful waiters. Too bad for the owner (Silvano): grumpy, not at all friendly and never with a smile on his face.

19/11/2024: Now it's called the little square. Good, run by young guys. Average raw materials and low prices. Good menu choice.

10/02/2025: Located in the center of Ostia, in the small pedestrian square, it is a restaurant where you can eat well, the prices are slightly above average, but you pay for the quality and here you will certainly be satisfied. Among their strong points there is certainly the spaghetti with clams with bottarga, an absolute must-try, but all the fish-based food is remarkable. They also make pizzas. P.s. in summer, book the outside tables, because inside, even if there are air conditioners, it is hot due to the oven and the neighboring kitchen.

10/02/2025: Gusto Glam restaurant was a stop for us a few days ago. They used to come to this place many years ago for our romantic evenings in Neapolitan style. The restaurant today is Glam, white, gray, with chic shades. The owner with leopard spots observes a lot but has no consideration for new customers.. (she didn't pay any attention to us until the end) the waiters were all nice and friendly (especially the older ladies) and finally the son of the owner assigned to deliveries.. he continuously shouted and swore at the delivery drivers. We had a seat near the oven, and maybe the seat wasn't the best, but the voice was really loud and a bit annoying. Would I recommend it?! I don't know.. maybe yes because the food is good, but the management leaves a bit to be desired.

I would also like to point out that the ordered water never arrived but it doesn't matter. :) If to mix a dish of pasta with clams you rinse a pan previously used to make a dish of gnocchi with 4 cheeses, obviously the product, whether it is 1 or 10 stars, will be affected. thanks again for the reply. :) PS. I decided to try the Pizzicotto together with my partner on February 14th. I understand the time and day so I take it for granted that it is an excellent restaurant even if... Excellent service and location I would say, everything fantastic and above all the friendliness of the staff. I'm more sorry, I imagine, than they are, but unfortunately nothing of what we ordered was appreciated, starting from the bruschetta, which was normal but the bread was practically cold and soft. The spaghetti with clams was, I'm sure, excellent, but unfortunately I found flavors very different from "tradition". Including parmesan and garlic and that's enough. The scampi risotto was nothing special, below average, scampi almost absent and a consistency similar to ready-made sauces, rice with a soft consistency. I'm sure it was the evening and not the venue. I'm sorry, again, but it was a dinner to forget. Thank you.
