06/04/2026: It was definitely one of the restaurants that left me, my wife, and our daughter most satisfied. Despite the large number of guests, it was an overall excellent experience, both in terms of taste and service. We ate seafood: appetizers and first courses were generous in quantity and exquisite in quality and freshness. The mussel sauté was excellent, so much so that our daughter even mopped up the dish. The dishes were also beautifully presented, with the chef's skill and expertise. As for the service, there was no excruciating wait, and indeed, the smile of the waiter who served us was remarkable, which is not easy to find these days among those who work in what is undoubtedly a demanding profession. The attention to detail in the ambiance and the spacious, clean, and hygienically impeccable bathrooms round out a truly positive experience. Highly recommended for those who want a family atmosphere while enjoying excellent seafood. The menu prices are in line with the quality and quantity of the food. UPDATE APRIL 6, 2026 An Easter Monday filled with excellent food in both quality and quantity, fast and friendly service, and professionalism—everything you'd expect from an excellent restaurant. I can only confirm and reiterate my already positive review from a year ago, adding the spectacular tagliolini with lobster, which were truly tasty and succulent. We enjoyed it so much that we couldn't help but mop up the bread for both the appetizer and the main course. I highly recommend this restaurant.

04/04/2026: We arrived at this restaurant after 10:00 PM, without a reservation and with little hope, but we were pleasantly surprised. Despite the time and the busy restaurant, our table was ready after just 5 minutes. ​There are three things that make this place truly special: ​Availability: The staff greeted us with a smile, making us feel immediately welcome despite the late hour. ​Speed: The service was lightning-fast! From the initial wait to the arrival of our dishes, the timing was perfectly managed. ​Quality: Despite the speed, no detail was overlooked. Excellent raw materials and carefully prepared dishes. ​It's rare to find such a perfect combination of efficiency and goodness. If you're looking for a place where you can feel pampered even after hours, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

21/07/2026: Impeccable. I've been eating at Gegé since it first opened on Cassia. A guarantee. The parmigiana pizza with fried eggplant leaves that melt in your mouth, does that sound like it? The fresh basil leaf is always there. A testament to attention to detail and care 🫶🤩

19/07/2026: One of the best pizzerias in Rome! The pizza with ciauscolo (a little-known salami from the Marche region with a unique flavor) was truly a feast for the palate. The other flavors we tried were all delicious, including the vegan ones (of which there was a good selection—not a given). The supplì were also delicious. The staff was friendly, and the place was small, but it was easy to stop for a quick bite.

09/06/2026: Good pizza and fried food. Even the hot dishes are always good and well-cooked. The rotisserie chickens are delicious. Excellent homemade pies and desserts prepared by a young woman who works there. You can eat in at the tables on the veranda or take out. The staff is fast, friendly, and helpful. Recommended.

19/04/2026: All very good We ate both pizza and fish menus and I must say that we were pleasantly satisfied. Simple but well-made dishes and honestly that's what I look for when I go out to eat, menus that are too elaborate always leave me a bit perplexed. Fairly fast service and kind and professional staff, more than fair price. This place has become our salvation when we don't feel like cooking and then a stone's throw from home. I recommend it without a doubt.

08/07/2026: Nothing to complain about about the menu or the excellent pizzas. However, I think the new location has lost the authenticity and intimate, romantic atmosphere of the historic restaurant. What a shame!

06/07/2026: With their new location, Pepe Verde has hit the jackpot. Excellent ingredients, impeccably cooked food. The staff is courteous and attentive to their customers' needs. Alessio, the waiter who served us, is disarmingly kind. Highly recommended.

14/05/2026: I've never had such a sad pizza, not even in Germany. Rubbery like Big Bubbles. Due to the succession of pizza makers, certain people should be banned from making pizza, especially in a city like Rome.

26/06/2026: Wonderful pizza by the slice, loved the owners sense of humor while working in a heatwave. 36* outside so hate to think how hot that kitchen was. Choose your pizza, serving size & its reheated for you to enjoy to go or at one of the tables inside. We took ours away to watch the piazza social activities. Great price-we missed the hot chicken but there’s other ready made meals also with a selection of beers in bottles.

05/07/2026: I went with my girlfriend for a delicious pizza. The beer was excellent, and they recently opened an outdoor area near the river. The atmosphere was fantastic. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for good pizza in Tivoli. Excellent food, service, and quality. Very clean bathrooms.
