09/01/2025: Authentic feeling Italian atmosphere (music, family photos, meat shop). Best pasta in Rome (I had the fettuccine bolognese). Best tiramisu in Rome. Not that busy in the evening, they served our party of 8 who showed up out of nowhere. Then the waiter told us about his grandmother in the photos above us when we asked. Literally the best food in my 9 day trip. Go out of your way to eat here.

29/12/2024: Such a perfect place to go. We had Italian breakfast and my son had pancakes with strawberries and maple syrup. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with lovely element of history and an incredible view of the coliseum. The staff were so friendly and breakfast was perfect! Highly recommend!

21/12/2024: In this quiet historic restaurant, such as you can't find anymore, for the first time in my life, I liked everything, from start to finish without any flaw... it's very difficult for this to happen in the vast majority of restaurants in the capital. ...and then that scent of embers that gives the sensation of being "out of town" despite being between Tufello and Bufalotta, is priceless! ...and the Macaw parrot, Pedro who greets you is an added value!

Five stars deserved in the local context, that is, considering that it is a self-service diner in the suburbs. So don't expect refined dishes or chef attention. But overall the food is plentiful and more than decent, with an excellent price-quality ratio. In reality it's all quite good, with a wide choice of first courses, second courses and side dishes. I particularly recommend the meat second courses, but choose calmly and carefully, because the menu depends on the chef's imagination (it changes every day) and there are always 3-4 dishes that are not banal and that even by eye you can tell they deserve them. The pizza is less good, but still edible. If you are one of those who love to eat Roman style, that is, abundant and traditionally rustic in taste, this is the place for you. You will wake up satisfied. The staff is courteous and helpful and doesn't mind if you are the complicated type who likes to mix different choices. The room is very large and comfortable. There is also a large outdoor space, which is spartan but can be appreciated especially on summer evenings. The toilets leave something to be desired in terms of cleaning and maintenance (which they would need). However, they are accessible and in any case there is also one for disabled people, which at least is kept closed and reserved for disabled people only.

22/10/2024: Starting from the assumption that tastes are personal, I'll immediately say that as far as I'm concerned the quality and variety of the pizza is really excellent, there are also various types of fried foods and usually a free drink is also given away for slightly larger orders. . A very important thing, at least as far as I'm concerned given that my wife has celiac disease, is the possibility of also ordering gluten-free. Outside there is ample parking in the adjacent areas and there is the possibility of some seating. The entrance is on the ground floor and therefore also accessible to disabled people. Definitely recommended
