Restaurant across from the hostel where I was staying. On my last night of the trip I was exhausted and didn't want to walk much, so I crossed the street and took a chance. IMPECCABLE service, friendly waiters, a simple restaurant where Romans eat without fuss, I practically only heard Italian around me. VERY good prices, thin and tasty pizza and I even got a little dessert. Nothing fancy, but an honest meal in a welcoming place. I spent 12 euros on a large pizza, a bruschetta and half a liter of house wine.

I had lunch and dinner at the tavern, the food was good, the service was very good, the staff were friendly and relaxed! And it was great value for money too 🤌🏼

We were there for four days with about 30 students. The food got better every day. At the beginning it was okay, but by the end it was really good.

Very good restaurant but underrated ! I ate the best tiramisu in Rome here ! Also the stuff very friendly and local roman vibes near Termini that is crowded with touristic restaurants . I will come again to Taverna Pretoriana ❤️

Amazing!!!! Great prices and plenty of food. It's a shame we discovered it on the last day, otherwise we would have come from day one.

We were a group of nine guys late at night. They welcomed us even though it was midnight and served us drinks. They stayed open after closing time specifically so we wouldn't be stuck in the rain. Extremely kind and helpful.
