02/06/2026: First time for me, recommended by B&B Poggio Caiar. Nothing special. I ordered a mixed grill, while my companion ordered beef steak. They asked us the cooking level and switched my dish, which was supposed to be medium, with my companion's, which was supposed to be rare. I asked for bread to accompany the appetizer and had to ask another waitress because they forgot. The tiramisu wasn't very good; my companion left it after two spoonfuls. But she paid anyway without hesitation or questioning.
31/05/2026: The three of us walked there from Caprino Veronese without a reservation. It's a rocky and steep path, so sturdy shoes are recommended. For the return trip in the dark, you should bring a flashlight or headlamp. A mobile phone will do in a pinch. The restaurant is authentic, without any unnecessary frills. The pizzas are delicious; I tried the spaghetti with anchovies, which I also recommend. The rabbit with polenta was very good, as were the salads. The prices are perfectly reasonable, not at all expensive. We'll definitely go again, preferably on foot.

31/05/2026: The restaurant is very nice, close to the street and with tables both on the veranda and inside. Now that the nice weather is coming, it's very nice, especially at the airy tables. The service was very fast and the pizzas arrived promptly. I had the pizza with ravigiolo, prosciutto, and truffle and I was completely satisfied, very tasty and with lots of truffle on top. Very satisfied.

05/05/2026: Nice place to eat, with tables outside. I was with 2 my small kids. We ordered risotto fungi porting, gnocchi and seafood pasta. Risotto was good, with a kit of mushrooms. Though portion was not very big. For me it was OK, but for some people might be a disappointment. Pasta was very spicy. With a lot of seafood. But fish pieces were also with bones, which is not good for children. Also nobody told me that it is so hot, considering an order for children. Also toilet is not good for small children: no seat, an opening is too big. Toilet was one of the reason to stay there as kids need it, but it is not really suitable for small girls. Coperto is 3€ per person.

He was kind, quick and answered questions with a smile and wisdom - I cannot recommend this place enough! The homemade pasta and the decor make it even more worth visiting. Cristina has created the best restaurant in Florence! Bellissima!!!

Here you won't find frills or distractions: everything is essential, direct, and honest, exactly as any place should be where the primary goal is one: to eat and drink WELL. It's a wonderful place made up of exceptional and special people. Incredible elements and synergies of flavor are the best you could wish for. All these elements are brought to life by the heart and soul of the incredible and incredibly talented Patron Chef Katia Trippanera. She possesses an absolute, top-notch technique that allows her to work the ingredients like very few others, resulting in dishes that are beyond unique and incredibly flavorful, but above all...simple. 05/05/2026: Yesterday we had the pleasure of lunch at Ristorante Montenero, a true gem in the Amelia countryside, which this year celebrates an extraordinary milestone: 100 years in business, since 1926. A family-run trattoria that has successfully reinvented itself in its hospitality without ever betraying its soul: that of authentic Umbrian tradition. Dishes that tell a story of authentic flavors and passion, such as the hearty and authentic handmade fettuccine with ragù, game, pan-fried chicken, stewed mutton, and coratella (a kind of lamb cutlet). All prepared with local produce and the highest-quality ingredients. But beyond the cuisine, what truly strikes you is the atmosphere: a warm, family-friendly environment where you immediately feel at home. One of those rare places that still retains the profound sense of time-honored hospitality. My sincere congratulations to the entire staff for preserving and passing on such an important tradition. The cuisine focuses on classic dishes, which were very well prepared, but didn't really surprise us culinarily. Overall, however, it was a successful visit with good food and a pleasant ambiance.
12/06/2026: They had just closed for siesta but let us in from awful weather and let us order pizzas. To our surprise they were maybe the best ones we had on the whole trip!

31/05/2026: So, we're still sitting in the restaurant…so all the impressions are still fresh in our minds. Actually, at least six stars would do the experience justice…and it would become our go-to spot for special moments if it were closer. As it is, we simply have to enjoy the evening and cherish the experience! To sum it up: The service was very attentive, personal, and quick! We felt comfortable from the very first moment. The food was perfect, and many of the little touches were simply brilliant (e.g., the pizza bread slices at the beginning, the pastries with olives baked inside, the little cookies with the perfect espresso!). Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!
