16/10/2025: I've always had a great time at Chicco and his wife, who run this place. I'll have to return soon because I'm accompanying a local gentleman who rents Antonioli quads to create a video of a ride up Mottarone. It's a great idea to stop here for lunch.

27/10/2025: The location is definitely exceptional, great wine list and at good temperature and prices, the waiter friendly, but not enough to give a good service, to explain the menu you could feel his stress, the menu seemed small to me without daily specials, the seasoning was not so special, especially the vegetables, without any taste, I had higher expectations

Unfortunately, the staff was EXTREMELY unfriendly when we said we didn't want a set meal, but just wanted coffee and cake! We were then asked to leave the restaurant and go to the terrace, where we had to pay an additional €21 (!) "service charge" - for whatever reason...
So, better enjoy the panorama somewhere else with friendly staff!

11/10/2025: I celebrated my birthday a few days ago at this restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect, with soft background music and no noise, perfect for a romantic or relaxing evening. The food was excellent, and the staff was extremely kind and attentive to every detail. Thank you for making my evening so enjoyable.
23/09/2025: Disappointing experience - where do we even begin!
Asked for still water, got a bottle of fizzy water of the brand “Bolle Stille” (€4). We thought it wasn’t a big deal if the food was ok.
Ordered a red prawn carpaccio (€24) as starter, and 2 pastas. Carpaccio was flavourless but smells very fishy (and we’re no stranger to seafood / sashimi / sushi). The 2 pastas (smoked trout €22, vongole €25) were so salty you’d need a kidney dialysis if you finish the whole thing. We kept having bread to cleanse our palate. Pastas were not freshly made. Price is astonishingly disproportionate to the poor quality of food.
Finally, I might overlook the fact that the antipasti was served at the same time as the 2 pastas if they didn’t charge €4 each for service.

10/10/2025: Small establishment with a family atmosphere. The anímela appetizer was outstanding and the dishes were flavorful but small portions. Out of the main path in town with seating both indoors and outdoors. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Cautiously recommended

04/10/2025: The ambiance under the pergola is pleasant and the service friendly, but the value for money leaves something to be desired. The ravioli porcini tasted okay, albeit somewhat sparsely filled. The tagliatelle porcini seemed plain, almost too minimalist, which is disappointing given the prices. The portions are also rather small, which doesn't justify the whole experience. Overall, it's solid, but the prices are too high for what's on offer.

I ordered a Prosciutto di Parma pizza and I must say it was extraordinary: light, crispy, and fragrant dough, ultra-fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors. Every bite is an explosion of flavor!
The restaurant at Via Giuseppe Mazzini, 29, Canzo is welcoming and immediately exudes an authentic atmosphere. This isn't just any pizza, but pure art: tradition, passion, and attention to detail that few can match.
If you want a pizza that will make you forget all the others, Pizzeria Alba is the number one place. A true legend in Canzo for those who love uncompromising quality and flavor.

09/10/2025: Nice room, the only flaw being the double bed with separate beds, so there's a gap between the two beds. Otherwise, the location is excellent, the food is excellent, the breakfast is plentiful, and the owners are helpful and very kind!
25/09/2025: We ate there; it had a nice selection and portions that were large enough to allow for a starter and main course. The meal cost about €30-40 per person, including all courses and drinks.

14/10/2025: We booked for Sunday lunch for four. The menu was good, with a wide selection of meat and especially fish. The ingredients were high-quality, and the dishes were beautifully presented. The wait time was reasonable. The atmosphere was quiet, with no noise to disturb the conversation, and the tables were well-spaced. The quality/price ratio was excellent. If you're in Stresa, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

20/07/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante porque no podíamos entrar en el que queríamos. Resultó ser un golpe de suerte - Amici es genial! Empezamos con parmesano de berenjena y burrata. Ambos fantásticos. Luego, tuve los ravioles plin y mi hijo tuvo el osso bucco. Finalmente, de postre tuvimos el pistacho semifreddo. Tenemos un litro de rosa de la casa. Volvería a este restaurante de nuevo, fue genial. Todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial. Era hermoso sentarse afuera bajo las vides.
12/07/2025: Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi ossolani (come riportato nel menù) ma, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i salumi, mi son sembrati di tutto (anche se di qualità) tranne che ossolani. Per il resto discreto locale particolarmente gradito ai turisti, buon servizio e prezzi nella media.
