04/07/2025: We had a brilliant meal here last night. The food was so fresh and tasty. Probably one of the best meals we have had in Stresa.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The restaurant is just off the central square so a lot quieter and more relaxing.
We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We went there twice during our stay.
The kindness of everyone and the delicious food!!!
Everything was perfect.
Our daughter was spoiled from start to finish thanks to them.

18/07/2025: It's definitely not cheap, but it's worth it, especially for wine lovers.
The food is beautifully presented, the flavors are fantastic, and finally, when I order a dish, I get a truffle the way it should be, not just some truffle shavings.
We were there with an 8-year-old child, so he was full and happy, especially after dessert.
Delicious prosecco with herbs and a small starter.
Minus one star for the service, as the wait between meals is longer with more people, but it's worth the wait.
20/06/2025: Lovely evening meal at this restaurant. Nice and cool in the garden shaded by grape vines. Staff were attentive and helpful. I would recommend visiting.

16/07/2025: Refined cuisine. I loved the rabbit cordon bleu and the linguine with black truffle. Reasonably priced for authentic Piedmontese cuisine.

14/07/2025: Excellent restaurant, all the fish was very fresh, and the service was impeccable. We had both a fish first and second course, and everything was delicious. We also saw some very tempting pizzas made in their wood-fired oven, and they even offered us a few slices of freshly baked focaccia! The only shame was the lack of air conditioning on a hot July day, which was definitely needed at lunch.

A really good lasagna for 14 euros.
The young waitress and the chef were super friendly.
The tiramisu feels homemade.
I can definitely recommend it.
03/07/2025: A very simple room. On the other hand, a very warm welcome. We were delighted, the only small downside was a fan in the room instead of air conditioning. Too bad. But we will return, because the setting is really very pleasant and the city very friendly.

10/06/2025: My wife and I occasionally stop by Gigi bar to enjoy the good pastries... since about 2002.
A couple of times now I have found the surcharge of 1.20 per person for table service! The prices applied already include the surcharge for table service. In no bar in Stresa have I found such a tax to pay.
It means that if there are two of you you pay 2.40 euros, for three 3.60
For four 4.80... just to give you an idea!
And why???
And since when!
Goodbye Gigi bar, we will do without it without any problems as you certainly do without us... there are many other chickens.

23/06/2025: The owner and restaurateur is extremely unfriendly! My food also had mold, which I didn't notice until the first bite. The next day was horrible! I can't imagine what would have happened to me if I'd finished my meal... I don't even want to think about it. We left everything. Instead of apologizing, he became rude and rude. Stay away from this place!

20/07/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante porque no podíamos entrar en el que queríamos. Resultó ser un golpe de suerte - Amici es genial! Empezamos con parmesano de berenjena y burrata. Ambos fantásticos. Luego, tuve los ravioles plin y mi hijo tuvo el osso bucco. Finalmente, de postre tuvimos el pistacho semifreddo. Tenemos un litro de rosa de la casa. Volvería a este restaurante de nuevo, fue genial. Todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial. Era hermoso sentarse afuera bajo las vides.
12/07/2025: Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi ossolani (come riportato nel menù) ma, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i salumi, mi son sembrati di tutto (anche se di qualità) tranne che ossolani. Per il resto discreto locale particolarmente gradito ai turisti, buon servizio e prezzi nella media.
