23/08/2025: We managed to secure a table on a Saturday evening at this discreet and refined restaurant. The atmosphere is understated, and the staff attentive and professional. The menu is limited, but it showcases the chef's creativity! Despite the average zucchini fritters, which were between hot and cold, the pasta dishes were full of flavors and perfectly cooked. We will definitely return to try the chef's other creations if the opportunity arises. Thank you.

22/08/2025: Definitely one of the must-try restaurants in the area. This is the place to enjoy dishes made with local and seasonal ingredients, which means the menu changes throughout the year. What never changes is the top-notch quality and the chef's solid technique. A few months ago, we tried the white truffle with egg and cheese fondue, followed by tagliatelle with white truffle: both absolutely excellent. The meat here is also a safe bet: tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Honestly, it's hard to find anything that isn't good at Osteria Mercato. The wine list is very interesting and well curated, a great match for the dishes on offer. The only downside was the waiting time: even with a reservation, we had to wait about half an hour before being seated. Most likely this only happens in high season, but it's still not the best start. Prices are fair for the quality provided. Overall, a recommended spot in Stresa, just hope they improve the waiting time. One of the must restaurants in the area. People come here to savor local, seasonal produce, which is why the menu changes throughout the year. 18/07/2025: It's definitely not cheap, but it's worth it, especially for wine lovers. The food is beautifully presented, the flavors are fantastic, and finally, when I order a dish, I get a truffle the way it should be, not just some truffle shavings. We were there with an 8-year-old child, so he was full and happy, especially after dessert. Delicious prosecco with herbs and a small starter. Minus one star for the service, as the wait between meals is longer with more people, but it's worth the wait.

20/06/2025: Lovely evening meal at this restaurant. Nice and cool in the garden shaded by grape vines. Staff were attentive and helpful. I would recommend visiting.

08/07/2025: Great value for money. A really good lasagna for 14 euros. The young waitress and the chef were super friendly. The tiramisu feels homemade. I can definitely recommend it.

03/07/2025: A very simple room. On the other hand, a very warm welcome. We were delighted, the only small downside was a fan in the room instead of air conditioning. Too bad. But we will return, because the setting is really very pleasant and the city very friendly.

13/09/2025: A good mix of tourists and locals. The food was homey and delicious, the service was kind. We shared a warm octopus salad which was very good. I had lake perch which was fresh and delicate. Husband had mixed grilled fish. Also well prepared and tasty. A nice view of the lake from the outdoor patio.

07/09/2025: Can't go wrong with this place, great selection on the menu and done right, cordial and hospitable staff with good flavours, marinara could've been more intense / herbaceous but that's just my preference

13/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant. I had some delicious cured meats and unique cheeses. Not to mention the polenta with sausage and porcini mushrooms, truly, truly excellent. Then there was dessert... the best tart I've ever had, with homemade cream and cooked blueberries.

20/07/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante porque no podíamos entrar en el que queríamos. Resultó ser un golpe de suerte - Amici es genial! Empezamos con parmesano de berenjena y burrata. Ambos fantásticos. Luego, tuve los ravioles plin y mi hijo tuvo el osso bucco. Finalmente, de postre tuvimos el pistacho semifreddo. Tenemos un litro de rosa de la casa. Volvería a este restaurante de nuevo, fue genial. Todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial. Era hermoso sentarse afuera bajo las vides.

12/07/2025: Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi ossolani (come riportato nel menù) ma, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i salumi, mi son sembrati di tutto (anche se di qualità) tranne che ossolani. Per il resto discreto locale particolarmente gradito ai turisti, buon servizio e prezzi nella media.

22/06/2025: It's a really nice Italian restaurant in the middle of Stresa. We tried two different pizzas, and they were out of this world. Straight up, 10/10.
