03/05/2025: Tuvimos una noche muy agradable en el Cesare. Buen vino barato. Deliciosa pasta. Servicio encantador. El plato de pasta de trucha y tomate cherry puede ser lo mejor que hemos comido en este viaje. Muy asequible. Me alegro de haberlo encontrado.
27/04/2025: Ci siamo trovate benissimo, sia per i piatti (personalmente consiglio la trota, molto buona) che con il personale.

Al di là della posizione panoramica impagabile, trovo che la qualità della materia prima sia notevole, per chi ama la sostanza (e viene di certo accontentato anche chi ama la presentazione!).
Per ultimo ma non meno importante: servizio impeccabile.
Costo adeguato.
Ci torno sempre volentieri.
Ovvio che per avere tutto questo… bisogna prenotare per tempo!

09/06/2025: We stopped by chance....among countless restaurants, this seemed the least chaotic and least expensive. We couldn't have made a better choice. We were given a table right "on" the lake. Very friendly and nice staff. We had a simple Milanese cutlet and Greek salad. Both good (maybe the salad could use a little more feta). Very affordable prices....
04/06/2025: We stopped here by chance, during our excursion between one island and another and we were welcomed by the very good and very sweet and very polite Caterina. Excellent food, beautiful location and impeccable service. It is rare to find a young girl so kind and good at her job that leaves a good memory to the customers. Recommended.

Come prima impressione si potrebbe descrivere come un ristorante di famiglia alle prime armi.
09/02/2025: como su nombre indica restaurante con fantástica vista al Lago Maggiore que hace del lugar un sitio especial. El espacio es amplio y agradable. La caray combina carnes y pescados como platos principales destacando la Tagliatta di Scottona alla griglia. Calidad/precio muy correcto por lo que es recomendable en la zona

04/06/2025: Accueil et personnel très attentionné et sympathique.
Plats goûteux, et un coup de cœur pour la pâtes al vongole à la poutargue! Un délice.
Un peu déçu par le tiramisu, beau mais un peu sec, mais on lui laisse 5 étoiles (4,5 si on pouvait).
27/05/2025: Eravamo cinque amiche e ci siamo imbattute in questo bellissimo ristorantino nella piazzetta principale di Stresa. Fin dal primo momento ci siamo sentite a nostro agio: il personale è stato super efficiente e cordiale. Il cibo, così come le porzioni, era ottimo e ha superato ogni aspettativa. Lo consigliamo vivamente!

30/04/2025: Sehr leckeres Essen…wir haben das Ristorante zufällig entdeckt, waren mehrfach dort und waren absolut zufrieden. Wir hatten Calzone, frittierte Calamari, Linguine, Fleisch und Nachtisch und es war alles super lecker. Auch die Portionen waren perfekt, nicht zu viel aber auch nicht zu wenig. Auch der Service war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Preis der Speisen war angemessen und nicht überteuert.
26/04/2025: Inqualificabile per il comportamento dei camerieri. Ho chiesto una bottiglia d’acqua tre volte, non è mai arrivata! Per il resto, lasciamo stare!

27/04/2025: Esperienza che sfiora la perfezione. Hotel bellissimo con una camera molto spaziosa, bella e soprattutto pulitissima. Cena squisita inclusa (antipasto, primo, secondo, dolce, acqua e caffè) tutto ottimo a base di pesce super fresco e delizioso. L'atmosfera è elegante ed accogliente. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!
25/04/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo suggestivo ristorante vista lago. Servizio attento e cortese, menú incentrato sul pesce di lago, con poche varianti, pietanze ben cucinate e presentate, anche se a mio parere non indimenticabili. Prezzi in linea con offerta e qualitá dell esperienza.
Nota dolente le opzioni fuori menu per i bambini (prezzo non esposto). Una cotoletta con patatine fritte viene fatta pagare 20€, che sommata ai 10€ di coperto (che include il servizio trasporto in motoscafo, ma noi ne abbiamo usufruito perchè pernottavamo in altro albergo sull isola), fa 60€ per sfamare (male) 2 figli. Meglio andarci senza.

23/05/2025: Pubblicità di garanzia di pietanze senza glutine per cui prenotiamo la sera prima certi che avremmo evitato l'elemosinare in ristoranti e trattorie a cui siamo ormai abituati. Ma per garanzia di pietanze senza glutine non si può intendere solo frittura con farina di riso e per tutto il resto? Le risposte sono state "ehm non lo so devo chiedere". Sciatteria dei camerieri e poca pulizia dei luoghi. Un buon secondo senza glutine lo avremmo trovato sicuramente anche in altri Ristoranti senza sbandieramenti vari.

14/05/2025: Great little resteraunt on far side of isola superior pescatela. Has two areas, one is raised up back from the actual edge of Lake Maggiore and the other area just down at the edge of the Lake. Seating very good with covers to shade you from the sun. Food range is good from snacks, sandwiches, or pizza to full meals. Service very fast. Well worth using.
01/05/2025: Nice place with lake view, we had lunch on the terrace and both the view and the food pleasantly surprised us. Given the tourist place we didn't expect such a good dish at an adequate price.

01/06/2025: Mi sono fermata con mio marito per una Coppa gelato la posizione è meravigliosa sul lago ma le coppe un po' care tre palline euro 9 coppa fragola aveva due fragole tagliate in mezzo e la salsa di fragole con gelato e panna euro 12 potevano sprecarsi con le fragole

09/06/2025: Wonderful experience. The young waiter was a delight. He politely explained the composition of the dishes to us, with tact and humor. He deserves a raise. We'll be back for him. Everything was delicious. The tomatoes were cut in a way you wouldn't believe. The trompe l'oeil of Parma ham hiding the melon made my wife and I laugh a lot.
08/06/2025: Unfortunately, our visit to this café/bistro was very disappointing. The eggplant focaccia was barely edible – the eggplant slices were far too thick, hard, and completely bland. The rest of our order either arrived incorrectly or only after a long wait. The bread basket was particularly irritating: It contained a slice of bread that looked as if it had already been bitten into – completely unhygienic and unacceptable. Overall, the place feels like a classic tourist trap: overpriced, poor service, and poor quality food. Unfortunately, I absolutely do not recommend it.

05/06/2025: The restaurant's ambiance is truly beautiful, and we can't say the staff was unfriendly—the service was fine. Unfortunately, our visit was still disappointing.
Price-wise, the restaurant is definitely one of the more expensive on the island, but the value for money isn't right at all. The mixed appetizer with variations of fish from the lake was still okay, but the pizza was the last straw for us: The base felt like a processed product and was also moldy—an absolute no-go, no matter which restaurant.
The staff apologized, but we'd lost our appetites, and we demanded the bill. In all our vacations in Italy, this was unfortunately the first time we've had a truly bad meal.
01/06/2025: Delicious food – prices appropriate to the ambiance – a tourist restaurant. Attentive service – you can even create a vegan meal from vegan side dishes 😉.
