11/07/2025: Local gem! Some locals recommended this spot when we were looking for a good place for an aperitivo — and it turned out to be so much more! Great atmosphere, tasty drinks, and surprisingly good food for a light meal. We’ll definitely be coming back!

13/07/2025: After a motorcycle ride, we stopped for lunch. The polenta with sausage and mushrooms was good, as were the other dishes, but the highlight for me was the apple pie with chocolate chips. A generous slice, tasty, soft, and slightly sweet, so much so that I enjoyed another... ...who knows if they'll be back tomorrow? Service was prompt.

01/07/2025: I stopped for lunch after a hike on Mottarone.. it was very hot I had a focaccia with cheese and ham.. kind service. Good quality food. When it's less hot I will definitely come back to try the dishes of the kitchen. Honest prices. Beautiful view I recommend it

29/07/2025: Viajando con un grupo de 33 personas, cenamos en este atractivo restaurante anoche. Pasando por el comedor principal hacia atrás hay un comedor al aire libre con plantas y arbustos. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente. Empezamos con una ensalada mixta, que tenía muchos trozos de tomate. Lo siguiente fue muy buen risotto de hongos, y una galette de queso y espinacas. Me hubiera gustado tener algo de guarnición en el plato.

20/07/2025: Certo, non sarà il Grand Hotel Et Des Iles Borromees, ma se cercate un buon alberghetto tranquillo, in pieno centro a Stresa, a 3 minuti a piedi dal lago e dall'imbarcadero, con camere essenziali ma pulitissime e perfettamente insonorizzate con bagno con sanitari rinnovati, e letto supercomodo, il Fiorentino fa per voi. Molto gentili il signor Federico e i suoi collaboratori, pronti a soddisfare ogni necessità; convenzionale, ma con prodotti di qualità dolci e salati (veramente ottime le marmellate) la colazione, con bevande calde espresse direttamente dal bar. Prezzo nella norma. Possibilità di usufruire di un ottimo servizio ristorante (che ho già valutato positivamente in passato).

10/07/2025: There are many restaurants on Pescatori Island, but we chose well. The homemade food was simple but very good. The portions were small, but the prices were good. The service was fast and the waitresses were very friendly.

02/07/2025: The little restaurant, run by young and dynamic staff, excellent food, fresh pasta, lake fish cooked very well and I didn't find even a thorn, homemade desserts, I think we will definitely be back.

04/06/2025: Accueil et personnel très attentionné et sympathique. Plats goûteux, et un coup de cœur pour la pâtes al vongole à la poutargue! Un délice. Un peu déçu par le tiramisu, beau mais un peu sec, mais on lui laisse 5 étoiles (4,5 si on pouvait).

27/05/2025: Eravamo cinque amiche e ci siamo imbattute in questo bellissimo ristorantino nella piazzetta principale di Stresa. Fin dal primo momento ci siamo sentite a nostro agio: il personale è stato super efficiente e cordiale. Il cibo, così come le porzioni, era ottimo e ha superato ogni aspettativa. Al di là della posizione panoramica impagabile, trovo che la qualità della materia prima sia notevole, per chi ama la sostanza (e viene di certo accontentato anche chi ama la presentazione!). Per ultimo ma non meno importante: servizio impeccabile. Costo adeguato. Ci torno sempre volentieri. Ovvio che per avere tutto questo… bisogna prenotare per tempo!

La caray combina carnes y pescados como platos principales destacando la Tagliatta di Scottona alla griglia. Calidad/precio muy correcto por lo que es recomendable en la zona

29/05/2025: Fue un poco nervioso venir aquí, ya que las críticas eran un poco arriba y abajo, pero había un plato en el menú que quería probar! Me alegro de haberlo hecho también, haber tomado los espaguetis con crema de pistacho y guanciale -y vaya! qué plato- muy sencillo pero un plato absolutamente perfecto de pasta así que estaba contenta. La pizza de mi hijo estaba bien también por el precio. Me encantó el interior del restaurante también, parecía muy elegante y de alta gama, y el personal era amable también.

14/05/2025: Great little resteraunt on far side of isola superior pescatela. Has two areas, one is raised up back from the actual edge of Lake Maggiore and the other area just down at the edge of the Lake. Seating very good with covers to shade you from the sun. Food range is good from snacks, sandwiches, or pizza to full meals. Service very fast. Well worth using.

17/07/2025: Impeccable atmosphere and service. The staff speaks excellent French, and the food is delicious and substantial. The only drawback is that the fries are frozen and the sauces are in sachets, but this is Italy after all.

25/06/2025: We were in Stresa at the end of May and stumbled upon Daniel's Bar more or less by chance. The location is wonderful, the ambiance was decent; as with many restaurants, you shouldn't judge by appearances. The food and service were excellent. The prices were reasonable. I don't understand why people are complaining about the coperto, as has happened several times here; that's common practice in Italy. In any case, we received very good service and visited Daniel's Bar again, again with good food and good service. A definite recommendation!

22/06/2025: Savoring a perfectly crispy calzone overlooking Lake Maggiore is a pleasure in itself. But the scenery doesn't stop there: along the Croisette, the scene flows gracefully—between elegance, well-dressed attire, and the Italian charm that's so much a part of the landscape.
