23/02/2026: Unfortunately everything they write is not true, we went to Stresa for 2 days for a birthday, my daughter had a cake made, it was scandalous, paid 60 euros, it seemed homemade, dry sponge cake, non-existent cream, a real disgrace, we made a fool of ourselves in front of our guests, never again

29/07/2025: Viajando con un grupo de 33 personas, cenamos en este atractivo restaurante anoche. Pasando por el comedor principal hacia atrás hay un comedor al aire libre con plantas y arbustos. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente. Empezamos con una ensalada mixta, que tenía muchos trozos de tomate. Lo siguiente fue muy buen risotto de hongos, y una galette de queso y espinacas. Me hubiera gustado tener algo de guarnición en el plato.
20/07/2025: Certo, non sarà il Grand Hotel Et Des Iles Borromees, ma se cercate un buon alberghetto tranquillo, in pieno centro a Stresa, a 3 minuti a piedi dal lago e dall'imbarcadero, con camere essenziali ma pulitissime e perfettamente insonorizzate con bagno con sanitari rinnovati, e letto supercomodo, il Fiorentino fa per voi. Molto gentili il signor Federico e i suoi collaboratori, pronti a soddisfare ogni necessità; convenzionale, ma con prodotti di qualità dolci e salati (veramente ottime le marmellate) la colazione, con bevande calde espresse direttamente dal bar. Prezzo nella norma. Possibilità di usufruire di un ottimo servizio ristorante (che ho già valutato positivamente in passato).

05/01/2026: A place with a homey atmosphere. We had dinner here and felt right at home. The owners were friendly and the food was excellent. We tried the gnocchi ossolani, which I recommend, and a tagliata with gorgonzola, finishing with a delicious pear and chocolate cake.
A pleasant and relaxing evening.

Exquisite fine dining with impeccable service and excellently crafted dishes. Pleasant and refined atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. The three Bellossi brothers are the directors and creators of this beautiful place. The artichoke with bagna cauda and parmesan shavings is sublime. I celebrated an incredible birthday. I highly recommend it 🤗

26/10/2025: We came here on a recommendation. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. They even accepted orders for dishes not on the menu (though the price was a bit higher than expected). But it was delicious, home-cooked. During our week in Stresa, we visited many cafes and restaurants in the city and can say that this pizzeria is definitely worth a visit. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Happy business!

I came back After the first time because the coffee was good quality and the service was good. My impression from the decor, atmosphere and other customers is that it has a loyal customer base of locals. Comfortable and quiet Atmosphere.

The most absurd thing is the insane prices.
A cappuccino costs €4.50, a water €3, and a tiny tart like the packaged ones costs €4.50.
Not even on Isola Bella or Isola Madre did you find these steal prices.
Avoid.
05/10/2025: A beautiful location on the lakeside promenade, quiet, well-shaded with adequate umbrellas and a small covered veranda with a perfect view of the lake and its islands. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful lunch: a perfectly cooked entrecote and a slice of beef, along with excellent homemade desserts. The prices are a bit higher than other similar establishments, but the menu is displayed outside and you can consult it before entering. We went, and if we ever return, we'll definitely return. Money well spent for a great experience and delicious food.

I'll start by saying that the staff was very friendly, and they gave me a €2.20 discount because I paid cash.
I imagine the food was frozen and reheated.
I noticed at home, because I didn't have glasses, that the cover charge was for seven people, but there were three of us.
Never happened to me in my life...
Of course, it's easy to make a mistake with people you won't see again because they're tourists...

23/10/2025: We had lunch here, and found the food excellent and the atmosphere great. We had the bruschetta, tartare, carbonara, and tagliata, all delicious. We paired our lunch with a bottle of house red, which was also excellent. Plus, the staff was especially helpful and friendly. Definitely a place we'd recommend!
