02/05/2026: I was hungry and came here for lunch… I had a lasagna, and what can I say: the children's portion is at least twice the size everywhere else 😳 A very small portion for an exorbitant price of €14… in my opinion, that's an absolute rip-off! I will definitely never visit this restaurant again!

06/05/2026: The food at our hotel with half-board is absolutely terrible! But here we had a fantastic meal in a lovely atmosphere, with friendly service and at a fair price. We can easily do without our half-board for that! We highly recommend this little restaurant.

06/05/2026: A 15-month-old child was asked to be served a short pasta dish with tomato sauce first, so that he would eat it before the adults. Instead, a plate of spaghetti was served with the pizzas.

01/05/2026: Disappointing... 5:00 PM restrooms. No toilet paper, pee everywhere, and toilets with non-flushing flushes, foul-smelling due to the obvious presence of feces, as dirty as the bathrooms in the worst bars in Caracas. I point out to the counter that, given the cost of drinks, it would be appropriate to send someone to restore the restrooms to their expectations. The response was: "There's been a line since this morning, we can't do anything about it." Well, this note will be made public. Thank you for your interest. See you next time.

02/06/2026: A fantastic restaurant! It's a nice place with good food, but what impressed me most was the quality of the pizza dough, which I found truly light and digestible. The atmosphere is very warm, and the staff is extremely friendly. The price is truly fair: a generously sized pizza, a medium red draft beer, and a craft liqueur, totaled €34. How many stars? I can't help but give it a perfect rating, because I can't find any flaws. As soon as I have the chance, I'll be back.

01/06/2026: A very pleasant surprise. My favorite restaurant in Stresa since tonight. The food was excellent, the service was very attentive. Andrea, the owner, is a guarantee in every way. And then, you can find the white myrtle. And can we talk about the wine list? And that white Genepy??? Superb dinner, the price was actually low for the quality of the ingredients and the attentive service. Well done, well done, well done!

02/05/2026: A quaint mountain hut on the summit of Mottarone. Friendly, cheerful staff. I recommend the tasting menu for €25 per person, which includes polenta, stew, donkey bites, braised beef, tripe, chicken cacciatore, sausages, and a variety of cheeses, along with water and wine. The food is very good, the portions are generous, and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

05/11/2025: True hospitality in a small hotel with a big heart. Just 2 km from Stresa, it has parking and a private beach, excellently soundproofed rooms, and a breakfast buffet with homemade pastries, cured meats and cheeses, and freshly cooked eggs. The staff are friendly and professional, both in their welcome, room cleaning, and breakfast service. Congratulations, we'll be back!

09/10/2025: Large room, large bathroom, and large balcony. Clean. Good breakfast buffet. A bit noisy on weekdays, right on the street. Parking is available across the street. Staff and manager are friendly and accommodating. They always try to accommodate. Approximately 2 km to Stresa, not recommended for walking. No continuous sidewalk. Part of the way is on the street.

08/06/2026: I dined at La Rosa dei Venti in Stresa and overall the experience was positive, especially for the quality of the cuisine. Among the dishes I particularly enjoyed were the spaghetti allo scoglio, well-prepared, rich in seafood and with a balanced flavor, and the gnocchi alla piemontese, tasty and well-executed, with a preparation that showcases local tradition. The dessert selection was also excellent. The strudel accompanied by gelato was fragrant and pleasant, with a nice contrast between the warmth of the cake and the freshness of the gelato. The apple tart with gelato was also very good, well-made and perfect to end the meal. Unfortunately, there were some aspects that penalized the final rating. The bread served in the basket had an unusual odor, likely due to the placemat used, which seemed to have been washed with a particularly strong detergent, so much so that it had soaked the bread itself. Furthermore, the table gave off an unpleasant odor, as if it had been cleaned with a cloth that had not been rinsed properly or dried thoroughly. These are details that may seem minor, but they impact the overall customer experience. Considering the quality of the restaurant and the final bill, one would expect greater attention to these aspects. It's still a good dining experience, thanks to well-prepared dishes and truly delightful desserts.

19/04/2026: Compact, but incredibly tasty place. When you enter the premises and see the laconic interior, you don't expect anything incredible. But!!! Every bite of each dish is a masterpiece! The chef is just an artist. The waitress is great. Recommendations!

07/04/2026: A top-notch culinary experience. We tried the lobster, red shrimp, and scampi agnolotti (sublime), and two slices of the catch of the day, both incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. The dessert and recommended wine were also excellent. ​Note on the service: The order is taken directly by the chef; this slightly lengthens the initial wait, but ensures extreme care in explaining the dishes. Once we ordered, however, the kitchen was extremely fast and the service impeccable. ​Highly recommended for those who prioritize the quality of the raw ingredients.

15/05/2026: The restaurant is modern and well-kept, sophisticated but not pretentious. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food deserves a special mention; all the dishes were excellent and meticulously crafted down to the smallest details, from the plating to the food pairings. The value for money was excellent compared to other restaurants we tried in town, where the service was also significantly inferior.
