02/06/2025: This is clearly not a michelin table. For anyone used to french michelin table (I'm not talking about stars or anything) please don't be fulled. When a client is asking for a non alcoholic drink and the only thing you have to propose is sprits without proposing anything else when the client is not interested, this is not a michelin. The menu is made of paper sheets, decorated with oil drops 👌 this is not a michelin. The quality of the starters, well, there is no balance in the tastes, the salade is thrown in the plate the sauces are too acidic. For the plate, you don't put aluminium paper around a potato in a michelin table plate, nothing is neat, from the poor salad leaves that are lost in the plate, the stuffing is grossly cut, no balance in the tastes. This is really the level of an average braaserie you'll find in france, and that you'll forget about. Let's skip the dessert cause it is of the same level really. I was scared of another tourist trap, well I should have thought twice before going there.

23/05/2025: We had a wonderful lunch on Saturday, May 17th at Stornello: the dishes were excellent and refined, and the service impeccable. The best part: Mimo's friendliness. 11/05/2025: Productos de calidad alta pero precios demasiado altos frente al tipo de comidas ofrecidas (al menos para los platos con mariscos). Por ejemplo, seleccionamos una "meseta" de pescado crudo que por 60 euros era de calidad muy buena pero no tan rica tanto en cantidad como en tamaño de cada artículo.

10/05/2025: We had a wonderful taste menu lunch. We chose the modern option and got interesting interpretation of the lively chef. We like the fact the chef was serving the dishes explaining and having a small talk. We learnt the fishes source is mainly Sicily and not the lake. Over all the food was tasty, we got several techniques of the same fish which was nice. We were lacking a bit more of everything the toppings and the sauces to make the dishes and flavours more rich. For the cold starter we got lumberjack sashimi which was fresh and good but could enjoy more olive oil and tomatos. For the warm starter we got cuttlefish with Katsuobushi (dried Japanese fish) it was a refreshing topping to the delicate cuttlefish, again a bit more sauce would make it better. For the secondi we got sea food ravioli which was very delicious. The main dish was beautiful fried lumberjack which was very tender. For desert we got a delicious apple pie with ice cream. All the pleasure with a nice local wine and tip was 100 each.

04/06/2025: My companions and I dined here for lunch at around 12 noon on a Wednesday. We each got the light lunch menu which was around 24 euros. It includes a main course, a dessert, coffee, and water. The tortelli ripieni al lucioperca was delicious and filling. I highly recommend it. The tiramisu and crème brûlée are really good and are highly recommended as well. The staff are efficient and hospitable. The ambience was lovely and the interiors are tastefully designed. We look forward to dining here again when we come back to Stresa.

02/05/2025: The restaurant is located at the top of Mottarone, it takes a while to reach it but the journey is worth the dinner. The dishes are excellent and it is clear that the raw materials are of excellent quality. The only note is that although you can book the vegetarian menu on the site, in fact the dishes offered are almost all with meat or fish. The choice is therefore very limited and in a restaurant of this level there should be more choice on the menu.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, thanks to the lovely family who runs the agriturismo — they truly make you feel at home. The food is delicious, made with local ingredients and lots of care. Perfect for a peaceful getaway with authentic Italian hospitality. Highly recommended!

29/05/2025: Very good artisanal ice cream. You can really taste it. However, it's still relatively expensive for Italy because the cones are very small and industrial.

25/05/2025: Finally a lactose-free ice cream with special and delicious flavors! I tried the "ricotta and caramelized figs" and I fell in love! Very kind and helpful staff, friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend it to those who, like me, suffer from lactose intolerance and want to enjoy a delicious ice cream far from the usual flavors ♥️

31/05/2025: Three families of us ate here. The food was good, but the service was terrible! Our order was wrong, and then they arrogantly brought us the right food, but it wasn't cooked as ordered! Our wives' food was completely forgotten, and then they blamed us! Never again

14/05/2025: I was in Stresa for a weekend and on the advice of the concierge of the hotel where I was staying I tried this place. At first I didn't have a good feeling given the location but once inside I changed my mind. Highly friendly staff, really good food. We chose an appetizer to share and then a pizza. The pizza was really good and with a nice variety. Excellent quality/price, let's say it's that typical place that makes you feel at home and it was exactly what I was looking for since I've been living abroad for a lifetime. Highly recommended, if I ever have to return to Stresa I'll know where to go. Congratulations.

10/05/2025: Este es un restaurante de visita obligada. Escondido en las calles traseras, es un lugar encantador con una maravillosa bienvenida. Comimos dentro que es acogedor pero hermoso ya que estaba lloviendo, pero la terraza se veía preciosa. El servicio era excelente y la comida también era excelente. Deja los restaurantes junto al lago a otros y sé aventurero y encuentra esta pequeña joya.

08/05/2025: Das Ambiente des Lokals hat uns angelockt. Sehr schön und toller Blick. Ein Service war im eigentlichen Sinn nicht vorhanden. Das hochpreisige Essen war das Geld nicht ansatzweise wert. Langweilig und lieblos. Schade.
