11/08/2025: Servizio al tavolo ok, personale gentile e veloce, unica nota negativa, i prezzi. Prendo una lattina di Schweppes e scopro che costa 5 euro, quando per la stessa il 9 giugno ho pagato euro 3.50. Non so quando possono cambiarsi i prezzi per la stagione. Ma lo trovo un po esagerato. Purtroppo l'idea di alzare i prezzi é terribile e a pagarne le conseguenze siamo tutti.

26/07/2025: Goede kwaliteit prijs verhouding met mooi uitzicht op Isola Bella. Met snelle goede bediening. Snap niet waar de slechte beoordelingen vandaan komen, het restaurant is meer waard!

13/04/2025: We spent a night in this place, but without using the restaurant service 🍽 (which I therefore cannot judge). Let me start by saying that in the past I have had the opportunity to try a wide range of different structures... from cabins and refuges... passing through very modest guesthouses and hostels (the latter also in places such as the suburbs of Budapest 🇭🇺, Riga 🇱🇻, Tallinn 🇪🇪 and Vilnius 🇱🇹...). In consideration of this, therefore... I won't even dwell on the infinity of small and large flaws (to use a euphemism......) of this structure, in relation to the state of the rooms 🛏 and the environments 🛋... just read several previous reviews 📝 (which I feel I can fully agree with) to get an idea. What really struck me rather, was the ABSOLUTE LACK OF TACT AND COURTESY of the staff (with the exception of the youngest girl 👩🏻, who kindly and jokingly - this must be said - showed us to our rooms). After checking in, around mid-afternoon, the owners asked us if we intended to eat there in the evening ✨; after replying that we preferred to "go for a walk around", we had the impression that our decision had at least annoyed them. Furthermore, before leaving, the older lady 👵🏻 asked us (with a severe look 🤔...): "where do you have to go?"...after explaining our intentions, the same lady added: "because here we are open until midnight 🕛". After reassuring her of this, we went out for dinner. The next morning, ready to check out at around 8.30 🕣, we found the reception and the ground floor completely deserted, in addition to the main 🚪 door closed 🔒 (therefore without any possibility of leaving independently). After a few minutes ⏳, despite the initial amazement and doubts, we looked for and, fortunately "crossed paths", another lady 👩🏻‍🦱...who in a decidedly annoyed manner 😒 (this time it was certainly not a simple impression) replied: "you could have warned us before, now I'll call the owner". After a few minutes the owner 👨🏻‍🦱 actually came down (clearly having just gotten out of bed 🛏) and greeted us with the same cordiality: "early risers eh". Maybe he didn't consider that maybe we might just be planning to make the most of our day. We therefore hurried to pay the bill (not so modest by the way) and leave the facility. From the first to the last moment of our, albeit short, stay... I didn't see the slightest smile on the faces of the staff (with the exception of the young girl, I underline this once again) nor even that minimum of courtesy that any restaurateur/hotelier should show (if only to be able to continue to have customers). Almost (and in fact, let's remove the almost) one had to feel embarrassed 😳, if not guilty, for the fact of having allowed themselves to leave the hotel 🏨 (and perhaps, as mentioned, having dragged the staff out of bed..) at 8.30 🕣 in the morning. SIMPLY AMAZING 😱. When we came out we all breathed a sigh of relief. To put it like Dante Alighieri: "Abandon all hope, you who enter". Jokes aside...obviously NOT RECOMMENDED IN THE MOST ABSOLUTE WAY 👎. 23/06/2025: Como habíamos estado en Caffe Lago (ahora el limonero) antes, decidimos volver a visitar para un aperitivo cuando estuvimos en Stresa. No nos decepcionaron. Tomamos el ferry de Carciano a Isola Bella y paseamos por el frente, pasando por algunos puestos de venta de muchos tipos de recuerdos. El gerente y el personal que encontramos eran muy educados y serviciales. Muchas las habíamos visto en visitas anteriores. Nos sentamos en la pequeña terraza y al otro lado de la carretera en la zona cubierta que daba al lago. Nos decidimos por jamón y melón, ya que no queríamos una gran comida. Para acompañarlo tomamos cervezas. Todo fue excelente, así que les hicimos varias visitas. Volveremos.

25/08/2024: Purtroppo gelato caro e deludente. Incuriosito dalle recensioni sono andato di proposito. Pistacchio che non sa di nulla, forse un accenno di nocciola. Non lo consiglio

24/08/2024: Me detuve aquí para un helado con amigos mientras estaba en Stresa. Fue aceptable, pero no genial. Hay mejor helado a precios más bajos en la zona. Para ser justos, las vistas del Lago Mayor que están cerca son geniales.

05/03/2025: Vista top! Cibo buono :un piatto affettati misti e una tagliata con verdure.peccato per lo strudel era surgelato ! Poca scelta nel menu di primi .

17/02/2025: A pranzo. Piatti buoni e veloci nel servizio. Un po’ troppo costose le birre. Un po’ di disorganizzazione ma personale gentile. Purtroppo (almeno per il mio gusto personale) troppo caos. Un posto di montagna per me è un posto dove rilassarsi dopo una bella camminata , invece, complice la possibilità di arrivare al ristorante praticamente con 2 passi dal parcheggio, troppo caos . Ma ripeto, è un difetto solo per chi come me dalla montagna cerca relax e silenzio.

26/01/2025: Ho soggiornato in questa fantastica struttura qualche settimana fa, posizzionata in vetta al monte Mottarone, personale molto gentile e attento!!! Anzi oserei dire al di sopra di molti altri ristorati della stessa località. Raclette eccezionale. Consiglio a tutti, una vera esperienza di montagna!!! Unica pecca la pessima gestione del comprensorio sciistico da parte dei Borromeo, che ovviamente don dipende dal hotel casa della neve, ma una sciata mi avrebbe fatto proprio piacere

27/02/2025: Cibo eccellente e personale molto cordiale, gentile e professionale. Non sempre nei ristoranti in cui ci siamo recati nei nostri giri da freschi pensionati abbiamo trovato queste caratteristiche

11/01/2025: Posto carino, proprietari disponibili attività di famiglia tutti molto carini.. e disposti a soddisfare le nostre esigenze. Sono stati calorosi, cibo molto buono. Trovato posto anche senza prenotazione, e ci hanno servito subito e offerto l’ amaro.

20/04/2025: Dejeuner le midi en famille. Service sympathique . temps moyen ce jour là donc peu de monde vers 13h nous avons ete servi vite et bon. Escalope milanaise. Ils ont des chaises hautes. Belle vue sur le lac

07/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale durante una visita alle meravigliose Isole Borromee. Il pranzo è stato ottimo, sapori straordinari, personale eccellente, luogo da favola. Consigliato a tutti, se, oltre alle bellezze del luogo, volete provare i buoni sapori del posto.

10/03/2025: Sono andata a pranzare in questo ristorante con vista. Il servizio era ottimo come d’altronde il cibo, che era squisito, niente da dire!!! complimenti allo chef!

25/04/2025: Peu accueillant, prix excessif, le plus mauvais déjeuner que l’on ait mangé en Italie. Très déçue, seule la vue ne faisait pas défaut.

25/04/2025: Ci sono stata oggi con la mia famiglia ,ci siamo tornati dopo due anni , abbiamo ritrovato lo stesso staff , abbiamo pranzato in terrazza con una bellissima vista lago ,il maitre Luca molto ospitale,gentile come tutto il personale .Locale pulito .Cibo ottimo complimenti allo chef e a tutta la cucina . Prezzi adeguati perché c'è da tenere conto che la merce deve essere trasportata con le barche ... Lo consiglio !! Ci torneremo !
