I usually choose this place for lunch as they always serve light, homemade dishes that are very digestible. Try the Apulian pizza with a drizzle of spicy olive oil. The quality and price are good, and it's a historic pizzeria in Ivrea.

15/02/2026: The atmosphere is more like a bar than a pizzeria. I ate a tasteless pizza (the bagged breadsticks were better), a terrible experience... No background music, just the buzz of voices... I think if it weren't for the fact that it's in a busy area, it would be empty... It's the first time I've eaten pizza in Ivrea, and I don't think I'd want to return if everyone here makes pizzas like this.

The restaurant has a unique charm: the interiors were created from a historic stable at Ivrea Castle, transformed into a restaurant over 50 years ago. The atmosphere is warm, authentic, and rich in history. The current management, active since the mid-1990s, manages to keep this tradition alive, with great attention to both quality and hospitality. We were particularly impressed by the fixed-price tasting menu, which was extremely comprehensive and well-structured: four appetizers, a first course, a second course, dessert, coffee, water, and house wine included. A truly generous offering, allowing you to take a true journey through Piedmontese cuisine. The dishes, as you can see from the photos, are carefully prepared, balanced, and made with quality ingredients. The cuisine successfully combines tradition and refinement, with results that closely resemble those of a gourmet restaurant. The presentation is also excellent. One detail that deserves special mention is the bread: artisanal breadsticks, crunchy and flavorful, accompanied by a truly unique and delightful sweet bread with raisins and figs. As soon as we finished the first basket, the service was prompt in refilling our baskets, a sign of attention and care towards the customer. The service was fast, precise, and friendly. The owner was very helpful and passionate, even showing us an interesting photo book dedicated to the famous Ivrea Carnival and the historic Battle of the Oranges. The walls of the restaurant are adorned with historic photographs of this tradition and images of famous people who have passed through the restaurant over the years, further enhancing the experience. In conclusion, a restaurant that impeccably combines history, quality, and hospitality. Highly recommended for those visiting Ivrea and seeking a truly local gastronomic experience.
