07/07/2025: Restaurant with innovative cuisine located at the beginning of the historic center of Ivrea near the Lungo Dora. Rustic interior with tables outside. I did the Vecchio Ponte menu with appetizer, first course, second course based on fish and dessert. The lampuga civiche with avocado and tiger's milk and the swordfish steak with salicornia and gazpacho were good, the buttons with lobster and potatoes were decent and the portion was really small (4 in number), the dessert was very good (pineapple, passion fruit, coconut and vanilla Bavarian cream). Menu price €45 excluding the €4 cover charge (very high). One waitress is a bit grumpy, while the owner is very kind. The wine list is extensive.

06/07/2025: The location of the Ristorante San Maurizio is truly enchanting: a small jewel immersed in a suggestive context, with a refined atmosphere and a cuisine that promises sensory emotions. The dishes are well presented, with quality raw materials and combinations that reveal a creative hand and attention to detail. However, the overall experience was penalized by a welcome at the reception that was far from up to par with the rest. It would be desirable for the management to pay more attention to the initial customer experience, because when you cross the threshold of a restaurant like this, you expect not only a good meal, but also a warm and professional welcome.

05/09/2025: A typical Piedmontese trattoria in the heart of the historic center, housed in a period building. High-quality Ciao, freshly prepared risotto. We'll definitely be back.

02/09/2025: I'm sorry, but we didn't have a great experience. From the outside, the place looks promising, but the interior is truly dated, not to mention outdated. There are many photos from the good old days, featuring illustrious guests, but the place has stopped there. This applies also to the quality of the food, the presentation, and the service (which was courteous, but that's not enough these days).

25/08/2025: Best pizzeria in the region! Unbeatable value for money! Quality ingredients. A friendly and attentive team. The pizza maker makes his pizzas right in front of us. If you want to eat pizza in Ivrea, go there!

14/08/2025: Pleasant and attentive service. Honest and fairly light cuisine (not too heavy or too greasy), which is very pleasant. Pizzas, starters and main courses are well-filled. Delicious strawberry meringue, pavlova style, not too sweet. You leave feeling full but not bloated 👍

10/07/2025: While passing through Ivrea for an evening, we discovered this restaurant and had a great time. We ate typical dishes outdoors and were treated with kindness and professionalism. The price was fair. I highly recommend it.

10/08/2025: This restaurant specializes in fish and seafood. The dishes are delicious and quite generous. For light eaters, the mixed antipasti will suffice. However, the terrace is on the roadside, so it's quite noisy. If you're in the area, you must go.

We were very frustrated that we didn't take our time, as everything looked so delicious! A lovely welcome, professional service, and of course... very well-executed dishes! We hope to return one day.
