23/12/2025: This is one of the best and most authentic cafes in Ivrea. The owner is friendly and loves what she does.
I came in early in June and bought all of her Croissants and a ton of her food for my groomsmen and my wife’s bridal party to eat before my wedding.
She prepared it no problem! 👌👌👌
09/10/2025: I just had a coffee and sat outside. I had time to read a bit.
The atmosphere was delightful and quiet, and the staff seemed friendly and helpful.
They had some lovely pastries on display, but alas, my diet...

06/12/2025: One of the best places I've ever eaten meat!!! Wide selection of excellent meats, top service, and delicious wines!!!! I recommend the dry-aged meat and the entrecote! The staff was incredibly friendly and explained each course and even the history of the wine!

08/04/2026: Thin and truly light pizza, also excellent for lunch as an alternative to the daily menu. I usually choose this place for lunch as they always serve light, homemade dishes that are very digestible. Try the Apulian pizza with a drizzle of spicy olive oil. The quality and price are good, and it's a historic pizzeria in Ivrea.
15/02/2026: The atmosphere is more like a bar than a pizzeria. I ate a tasteless pizza (the bagged breadsticks were better), a terrible experience... No background music, just the buzz of voices... I think if it weren't for the fact that it's in a busy area, it would be empty... It's the first time I've eaten pizza in Ivrea, and I don't think I'd want to return if everyone here makes pizzas like this.

19/12/2025: Intrigued by the variety of panettone, we decided to try a "panettoncino" (small panettone), and we went home with a panettone. Quality, research, and dedication clearly emerged from every bite, and the exquisite staff knew how to pamper and surprise us. Thank you so much.

We found a good variety of Sicilian seafood dishes with a more modern twist, both in presentation and flavor. We recognized remarkable quality and attention to detail in preparation and presentation. The price was justified by the quality of the food, in a welcoming, discreet setting, and with attentive, prompt service.

17/04/2026: At Caffetteria Il Monastero, you'll find a wide selection of croissants, cakes, and savory pastries. The atmosphere is lovely, with pleasant music and decorations that change over time. The staff is friendly. I always order the same thing because I've fallen in love with it: a cappuccino with just a little coffee, because it's too bitter for my taste. The "buondì" is also excellent, simple but truly delicious. The tables outside along the river are also lovely; it's truly delightful to have breakfast on a beautiful sunny day.
12/04/2026: It's a real shame that they replaced the red umbrellas, which are aesthetically very beautiful and a truly original idea, with anonymous blue awnings... 😔

12/03/2026: This restaurant/winery has been in Ivrea for several years. I've been there several times and it's always a great experience.
The place is very well-maintained and welcoming. The owner is extremely helpful and warm, a true host. The selection of wines is truly remarkable, and the quality of the food is incredible.
The dishes are truly well-crafted and impactful, with unique pairings that are always well-executed.
The tasting menu option is excellent, even for a limited number of guests.
Excellent value for money.
I've been back several times and everything is consistently excellent, from the food to the service!

We ordered a tasting menu of appetizers that included water and dessert, and a first course and a drink for €62.00.
The service was friendly, albeit slow, and the food was good. The place was a bit chilly...

01/02/2026: Truly excellent pizza, really good pizza dough, well cooked, and the dough is definitely well-leavened with excellent flours. Special pizzas with quality ingredients that you won't find easily elsewhere.
They also offer dishes from the kitchen, but we only tried two different pizzas... excellent. Coffee, two beers, a lemoncino and a mirto.

Wonderful!!!
When the Chef and his wife leave the kitchen at the end of the service, they still offer you an amaro or limoncello.
They truly deserve a wonderful compliment!!!

14/12/2025: The grilled octopus on a bed of chickpea hummus is excellent. The arancini on dried lentils might be a bit confusing. The place is pleasant and the service is courteous. Pricing is, of course, subjective these days, but compared to other places offering traditional Sicilian cuisine, it's certainly not competitive. However, I highly recommend a visit.

Currently run by young and very friendly and courteous staff.
The restaurant is very small, with just four tables. Dine-in is available, but the main business is takeout.
The food quality is above average for this type of restaurant.
The prices are reasonable and the portions are particularly generous.
The average wait time is about 20 minutes.
