04/03/2025: The staff at the counter (I think they are a couple) were grumpy and rude, they responded to me with an arrogant tone and told me to go to hell (but not with these words obviously, I can't write it otherwise they won't let me publish the review) because I wanted to have a coffee but my three friends just wanted to go to the bathroom without drinking anything. I agree that perhaps the bar demands drinks but there are ways and ways to communicate with people, since we, not being local, are used to other bars where drinks are not required to use the bathroom. They said they were "nervous", but the customer needs to be treated a little better despite the nervousness, it's your job. If they don't know how to manage certain events, such as during the Ivrea carnival period, they should remain closed.

23/03/2025: We organized a bachelor party in this restaurant/pizzeria. It was the first time we came here but we would gladly return. The pizza was good, but above all the waiters and owners were kind. An added value was the great friendliness of the waitress (and I would also say the great patience in putting up with "9 crazy people" who were celebrating). Thanks from the orange shirt 😂

09/02/2025: Era da tempo che avevo adocchiato questo locale per una pausa the nel pomeriggio della domenica, ma d’inverno i pochi tavolini all’interno erano sempre occupati. Oggi la buona sorte mi ha dato la possibilità di sperimentare l’offerta di Monastero (è il loro nome, non c’è alcun monastero nelle immediate vicinanze). Parliamo del banco vetrato che ha attratto subito il mio sguardo: a destra le brioche, dal croissant classico da farcire (10 possibili farciture “normali” e altre 12 particolarmente sfiziose con un supplemento di 0,5 euro) alla brioche siciliana ed altre ulteriori proposte. A sinistra un’ampia scelta di golose torte salate (almeno cinque tipi diversi), tramezzini e super toast oltre a varie crostate con diverse confetture che rendevano la scelta piuttosto complicata. Ma a trionfare, più in alto delle altre, era una Sacher torte che mi stava provocando un’aumento della salivazione. E la scelta è caduta su quest’ultima, accompagnandola con del the scelto da (c’è bisogno di dirlo?) un’imbarazzante varietà di the in foglia contenuti in vasi di vetro su due credenze presenti sulla parete di fondo. Il the è arrivato dentro una teiera pesante di metallo (ghisa?) contenente un filtro di acciaio che permetteva alle foglie di rimanere immerse nell’acqua bollente. Risultato: the squisito e almeno due tazze a testa a disposizione. La Sacher torte era eccellente (un po’ me ne intendo perché mi piace molto e la scelgo sovente) ed alla cassa ho chiesto se fosse prodotta in casa. La risposta è stata che tutto ciò che vedevo esposto è prodotto in casa. Accettano anche prenotazioni, opzione consigliata per evitare di non trovare posto.

29/01/2025: I purchased three takeaway pizzas. Saturday evening. Already on the phone of the rude people. Paid dearly and the pizzas They arrived OVERRIDED. I called and spoke to the owner, who told me he would send more. HE DIDN'T. He didn't call back, no. He apologized. Furthermore, to be quick, they sent NON-cooked pizzas. Shameful. Never again.

31/12/2024: Nice place, helpful staff but the food was very discreet, I would have preferred more choices of hot dishes instead of just the udon which once tasted we expected a savory dish but it was with a sweet and sour sauce, the price was slightly higher than normal, I expected more

03/02/2025: We often visit Ivrea In our opinion, Rosso is the best gelateria in Ivrea. The coffee is so good that we always buy some for home. the gelato is delicious...the sweets are of excellent quality. I'm a diabetic and rarely eat anything sweet...I'm happy to make an exception at Rosso! The staff is very friendly and attentive. Great to sit on the piaza in summer...but also enough space inside in winter.. Really 100% recommended!

20/10/2024: Very nice place, nice outdoor area on the town square. Some desserts are very good, others are not, the pasticciotti had the pastry detaching from the cream, it looked like they had been frozen or put in the fridge for days. The tarts with cream and fruit for 5 euros are a steal!

Refreshment point adjacent to the gym, recommended for a quick lunch during a work break, menu that varies every week. Dynamic and young environment. Recommended, also because, in the area, there is nothing better.
