Al Faro In Ivrea

Al Faro has been a favorite of mine for 34 years. We LOVE to go for the pizza, especially on our first night in town when we arrive. It is always like a welcome home. Great pizze, nice atmosphere (love the updated paint)and very attentive and genuine service.

A very elegant, warm, friendly, and peaceful place. The service from a Cuban lady was beyond excellent, as was the service from the gentleman who brought the food to the table. I went with my daughter two days ago and would definitely return. It's very reasonably priced for everything they offer.

One of the only places open on Mondays, so we rushed there. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The menu is extensive, especially when it comes to pizza, with the option of other dough types, including whole wheat and grain-based. The pizza is good, cooked to perfection. My only complaint, perhaps, is the degree of cooking of the zucchini, but overall, a great experience. 😊😊😊

We stumbled upon it by chance and tried it without a reservation. He kindly found us a table. We ordered both pizzas and drinks, the latter arriving almost immediately, and then the wait began. I understand it's a Saturday night, I understand the place is packed, but 45 minutes seems like too much. Anyway, the pizzas arrived: what can I say? The ingredients were good, but the dough left me a little unsatisfied; I didn't really like it.
