13/09/2025: The person who served me was professional and very kind, and offered me a fruit tart made that same day (just what I was looking for). The café (thankfully) is no longer there. Excellent pastry shop at reasonable prices.

21/10/2025: We had the privilege of celebrating our wedding vows at Approdo Agareno. What can I say? Sublime ingredients, breathtaking preparation, and indescribable flavor (the octopus was exquisite, excellently prepared). They served us a top-quality wine, and the service was perfect. 21 steps from the sea? Absolutely! In fact, the sea was on your table!

23/09/2025: Splendid seaside restaurant! A rarity in Salerno! It's complemented by a menu featuring flavorful ingredients and the freshest fish, and friendly, attentive service! A month later, I still remember the flavors and atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

24/09/2025: This is a self-service restaurant we occasionally go to for lunch, given the relatively quick service, despite most of the dishes being a bit "heavy." Today, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Roast chicken was INEDIBLE BECAUSE IT WAS COMPLETELY RAW, despite the price being quite high for a restaurant of this type. When we reported the mix-up, the chef, called by the (very helpful) cashier, not only didn't apologize, but verbally attacked us despite the obvious (pink meat, not crispy skin). They'll never see me again!

14/06/2025: We are in Novara. In its historic center. There is this very popular old convent where lunch is served in self-service mode. The mushroom risotto and rabbit are good. The sachertorte is good. Fair price. Good for a quick lunch. There is also a separate bar with a cafeteria.

08/07/2025: Ho prenotato presso questa struttura la festa a sorpresa per i 60 anni di mio marito circa un anno fa. Versato caparra, fissato menù, stabilito sala ecc. a qualche gg dalla festa il titolare mi dice che non saremmo stati nella sala pattuita perché nel frattempo gli è subentrato un matrimonio. Si dimentica che avevamo nella ns festa anche un dj…. Conclusione? Chiusi nella sala interna (x non disturbare i clienti del ristorante) e senza musica sempre x non disturbare, peccato che io abbia comunque pagato dj e tutto il resto. Tutti invitati scontenti. Non ci tornerò

29/10/2025: Overpriced for what they offer, ordinary croissants, zero service. $3.50 for a cappuccino, and you even have to carry it to the table on a tray. It's just a money-wasting bar.

25/10/2025: Definitely good, but incredibly expensive: three croissants and two soy cappuccinos cost €19, which is understandable, but for €19, it's unthinkable that there's no service and you'll just be handed a tray like in a cafeteria. Given the prices, I expected a similar level of service from such a prestigious name.

04/07/2025: Good pizza and friendly pizza chefs. But the rude and impolite cashier... and I won't continue... immediately started off with: "the place is mine and I decide" my response: "I won't come back here again!! " You've lost customers

24/06/2025: Pretty good pizza but the lady at the cash register makes me sad. She must have serious problems with the world, she answers the phone rudely, she answers if you ask her to cut the pizzas saying eh you should have told me on the phone we don't have time. I'm sorry she lives her life like this, it will certainly be difficult for her... but bringing anger and resentment to customers hurts her. I hope she can find some peace and empathy and maybe one day be able to do a job where she doesn't see people like that maybe she can finally feel good 🤭

05/08/2025: Always taken there huge pizza with homemade ingredients excellent pizza for the parking does not matter and 50 meters from where I live excellent kindness and courtesy compliments

07/06/2025: I order two pizzas at 7:50 pm and they tell me they would have brought them at 8:45 pm. The pizza chef shows up at 9:15 pm and when it's time to pay he says he doesn't accept debit cards, only cash. Moral of the story he takes the pizzas back and I had to order from another pizzeria.... thanks to them, since they didn't even have a receipt, people continue to earn money under the table and honest people pay taxes

29/07/2025: I arrived, the table was still to be set, and once it was set we noticed that the tablecloth was dirty, when we arrived the pizza had a hole in the center, and the topping on top was raw, the staff had no desire to serve

The value for money is simply exceptional. It's rare to find a place where you can eat so well, with generous portions and more than fair prices. A place that focuses on true quality, without inflating the bill. Highly recommended for those looking for authentic, tasty cuisine without breaking the bank. I'll definitely be back!

24/03/2025: Con l’amico Luca siamo stati ospiti nella Hostaria Orcobacco di Borgomanero giovedì sera. La scelta è stata fatta in base a commenti positivi che abbiamo raccolto da amici e che ci hanno invitato a provarlo. Il locale all’esterno è anonimo ma entrando si percepisce un’atmosfera piacevole, l’ambiente carino, i tavoli ben disposti e temperatura gradevole, dato che c’è una bella stufa in ceramica. Il menù è esposto su una lavagna a tutta parete, si compone di 3 antipasti, 3 primi, 3 secondi e 3 dolci. Discorda da quello inserito sul sito dove vi sono 4 secondi. La nostra scelta è ricaduta su: Flan di topinambur con fonduta di toma Maccagno, il flan aveva un gusto appena appena accennato, la fonduta ha dato un po’ di tono. Crema di vongole veraci con pane croccante alle erbe e crumble di guanciale, al mio amico piacciono i toni decisi per cui lo ha apprezzato. Agnolotti ripieni di gorgonzola riserva con pere decana e burro alla maggiorana, la pasta piuttosto spessa (va a gusti) il gorgonzola riserva sovrastava il piatto. Petto d'anatra con purè di pastinaca, salsa al whisky e amarene, purtroppo ho dovuto far togliere le amarene per una mia problematica ed il piatto è stato inevitabilmente trasformato. La carne era cotta, il purè era ben eseguito, il tutto di mio gradimento. Tiramisù classico, purtroppo non ci siamo proprio… i savoiardi erano asciutti e con troppo mascarpone. Una vera delusione. Servizio cortese e molto presente. Il conto ammonta a 104 euro, con due calici di franciacorta, i prezzi del menu sono tutti esposti sul sito. È un locale da provare.

28/06/2025: Scandalous and senseless treatment. I am passing through Novara, I go in and ask for frozen yogurt and the person serving me looks at me with disdain and asks me which one. I ask which cups there are, he points them out to me and I choose the two euro one. When I ask what fruit to put in it, he replies that it is enough to read and that my behavior is exaggerated. I make too many requests. Exaggerated because I ask for information on what to put on yogurt in a place I have never been to and that I do not know?!! I left shocked without buying, obviously.

08/09/2025: Friendly baristas and a relaxed clientele, great for breakfast. Accessible via ramp and steps. Outdoor seating and table service. They bring cappuccinos with water and a chocolate bar. We had a great time.

29/10/2025: Neat and clean, with a friendly and welcoming owner. Excellent and tasty seafood, very reasonably priced. Recommended!

27/10/2025: A typical family-run trattoria where they focus on the essentials: the food is good and the portions are generous. In fact, little attention is paid to the decor of the dishes. Prices are absolutely competitive. The service is clean.

15/03/2025: Tre sale medio-piccole con tavoli appiccicati, da faticare a muoversi. Coperto a 4 euro, ma tovagliette e tovaglioli sono di carta. Dopo 20 minuti non erano venuti a prendere nemmeno l'ordinazione delle bibite. Frastuono da non poter parlare, tanto che ce ne siamo andati in anticipo (e così hanno fatto anche i signori dei due tavoli vicini); antipasto scarso, paniscia salatissima. Conto per 1 antipasto, 3 panisce, mezzo litro di vino sfuso della casa e 1 bottiglia d'acqua (niente dolce né caffè): 77 euro. Mai più.
