09/06/2025: Informal but overall pleasant atmosphere and really kind and courteous waiting staff. Dishes with very (too?) abundant portions and a slightly higher bill than expected. Overall a positive experience
06/04/2025: Excellent cuisine. The menu is not very extensive and therefore a sign of attention to the purposes and their quality. It is based in the premises where a historic Novara tavern existed and, since the activity takes place without interruption, it is a historic venue in Novara

01/11/2025: Truly excellent pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven as it should be, with a light dough and good-quality ingredients. The flavor is authentic, and you can taste the care taken in the preparation. The only downside is a few minor service issues: a bit of a wait and a few lapses in attention, but nothing serious. The place is welcoming and clean, and the staff is friendly even at peak times. Overall, a good place for a good traditional pizza. We'll definitely return, hoping for a more organized service.

10/11/2025: The restaurant and pizzeria Il Gallo Verde in Gattico didn't impress me at all in terms of food. On the other hand, the pizza is decent. They should improve the food a little more with the cooking of the pasta, and it's too cooked for my taste. The staff is very kind and friendly, I don't argue about that. Next time I want to try the food again and I'll keep you updated. Enjoy your meal everyone.
28/10/2025: I decided to celebrate my birthday in this pizza restaurant (Saturday evening)
The dishes from the kitchen are really excellent.
But the pizza is really super.
Thin and very easy to digest with great ingredients.
Even though there were a lot of people, we were served quickly.
Friendly and welcoming staff

29/10/2025: We ordered two simple pizzas with quality ingredients. We weren't disappointed, and the price was reasonable. The wine was good and cost us less than half the price of another restaurant.

It was a single block, arrived late but hot.
It tasted like a frozen pizza.
€18 a total waste.

24/02/2025: Locale rustico ma accogliente, agriturismo che utilizza davvero prodotti del territorio, menù fisso buono e abbondante,con possibilità di chiedere numerosi “bis”, prezzo ottimo in virtù del fatto che oltre ad un menu abbondante ( 4 antipasti , 2 primi ,secondo,dolce) sono compresi anche il vino e l acqua, ovviamente non aspettatevi raffinatezze culinarie o location eleganti, il locale è spartano e il cibo verace,ma il rapporto qualità prezzo è davvero ottimo, è sempre un piacere tornarci

31/10/2025: The quality of the products, which wasn't already that high, has dropped significantly...now they've even raised the prices to pastry shop levels, at this point I'm going to the pastry shop...
29/10/2025: All confectionery products cost between 30 and 40% more (sometimes even 50% more) than those found in supermarkets for the same brand and type. I wonder how they manage to stay open.
The fresh pastries are horrible.

27/09/2025: I wanted to try this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend.
A very rustic yet family-friendly place, run by a kind and helpful family.
Competitive prices.
I tried the chicken biryani (spicy) and found it very good, as well as the garlic naan (garlic bread).
The dishes are generous.
I'll be back to try other delicacies 😋

05/10/2025: The €4 cover charge with straw placemats, a bottle of water another €4, a regular coffee and a sparkling one €6, are details that overshadow the well-prepared food and the otherwise excellent service provided by friendly staff. After all, it's an out-of-the-way place.
Spending less would help...
16/08/2025: I liked the name of the place. I liked the place, too. But the price was too high. Starting with a cover charge of €4, no tablecloth, woven straw napkins, and no welcome drink. A bottle of water = €4. A bottle of 2024 Erbaluce wine = €30. It all seemed disproportionate for what I ate. Perhaps the proximity to the Golf Club raised the prices? Too bad!

17/09/2025: Crazy prices (coffee 1.80, cappuccino 2.50), mediocre croissants that taste like nothing, and the staff is snobbish.
If you come in dressed a certain way, they smile at you from head to toe; if you're not wearing any well-known brands, they'll say hello.
12/09/2025: It's a somewhat dated bar, at least inside. As for the outdoor seating, I'd say it's very nice. However, for an aperitivo, it's barely adequate, and while the place may look super tempting from the outside, I wasn't thrilled with it, as it clearly needs a bit of a makeover.

29/10/2025: Inside, a very tall structure, quiet, well-maintained, and heated.
Welcoming and smiling staff (which isn't a given). Friendly, no-frills service, just right for a small-town trattoria. Very generous and truly flavorful dishes. Paniscia, perhaps the best in the area. Good coffee.
Fairly priced for dinner. We'll be back.
