26/12/2025: Hello, I don't usually write this type of review, partly because I don't feel the need to. On this occasion, however, I felt compelled to leave this comment. I recently ordered a birthday cake. It was done (almost perfectly), the calligraphy was beautiful, and so was the cake. However, they didn't get the text correct, which consists of just one word. The text is "VEINTIDÓS." Since there was a lot of traffic at the bakery when I ordered, I decided to call them to correct the text, as I had a feeling it had been spelled incorrectly. Which was the case, so I asked them to correct it from "VENTIDOP," which they spelled over the phone, to "VEINTIDÓS," as it's spelled correctly in Spanish (which I did spell). I was reassured because they told me the text had been noted, so it would be spelled correctly on the cake. So today I went to pick up the cake, and the text was misspelled "VENTIDOS." Now, the error isn't a big one grammatically speaking, but for a birthday in Italy (where I don't currently live), I wanted the cake done properly, as one normally expects on a birthday. I didn't want to argue, because I'm not the type and didn't want to argue pointlessly on my birthday, but I expected better service and attention to detail on a cake from the staff, rather than from a customer. It wasn't a very long text to write, and a Google search on any translation platform would have been enough to make sure I didn't make a mistake. 02/01/2026: A very well-maintained and welcoming pub, with an inviting appearance and a traditional atmosphere that invites you to linger. Excellent parking and a convenient location, just a short distance from the center of Orta San Giulio. A good selection of beers and perfectly pub-style tables, ideal for an informal meeting or an evening with friends. The sandwich was authentic and made with quality ingredients: the piadina and vegetables tasted fresh and well-sourced, although overall the flavor was a bit delicate and lackluster. Truly excellent service, with attentive, helpful, and always present staff who make the difference and make the experience very pleasant. Overall, a recommended place, especially for the atmosphere, the beers, and the customer service.

25/09/2025: We celebrated our wedding reception here. The staff is super friendly, the service is great, and the location is fantastic because you can party until late. The view of Villa Crespi was also lovely, and they make great cocktails! A really nice place for a drink.

23/10/2025: Delicious pizza and kebab, excellent service, always kind and smiling, even after long hours of work in the middle of summer, when it's 40 degrees outside and 50 degrees near the oven. Quiet, well-maintained atmosphere, food can be eaten in or taken away... My favorite pizza? Gorgonzola and spicy salami 😋😋

02/04/2026: We were warmly and courteously welcomed by chef Mario and well-served by the kind and discreet waiter Edmondo. The restaurant is clean and well-furnished, with standard restrooms with towels and paper towels available. The food was high-quality and beautifully plated, served promptly and with synchrony. The homemade dessert, made on-site, was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Recommended.

14/12/2025: A beautiful place in the center of Oleggio. The atmosphere is welcoming and well-maintained, with an elegant, old-fashioned style. The staff is friendly and helpful. The coffee is excellent, creamy, and not burnt or bitter.

09/03/2026: Fregola and mussels, out of this world. The idea of ​​adding a club sandwich to the menu is unusual, perfect for lunch. The accompanying loaf is warm and crispy straight from the oven. The level of detail is unexpectedly high, both on the plate and at the table. The head waiter manages everything herself, meticulously. Excellent experience

04/01/2026: Menu: Very well cooked and varied. The four-course tasting menu with dishes chosen by the chef (surprise) for €45 is interesting. Service: Slow, especially at the beginning. We waited quite a while, even just for water 😅 Location very close to the square, welcoming. Adequate prices. I recommend it.
