04/12/2024: Per caso ci siamo trovati in questo ristorante e ci siamo sentiti un po' a disagio perché è un ristorante lussuoso mentre noi eravamo vestiti da viaggio. A parte questo, punteggio 4 perché ottimo cibo, ben curato e servizio di tutto punto (Quasi fin troppo per noi abituati alla trattoria).
Consiglio questo ristorante per occasioni speciali o comunque non in jeans e felpa!
04/12/2024: Da oltre 15 anni quando posso torno qui. L’ambiente elegante ma senza fronzoli, accogliente e caldo. Il servizio, governato dalla moglie dello Chef, è perfetto, con uno staff eccellente. Menzione particolare per il Sommelier, bravissimo e innamorato del proprio lavoro! Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione tartufo. Superbo! La carne battuta, i taglierini, le uova con fonduta e cardo, tutto “irrorato” con generosità da un ottimo tartufo bianco. Ma da provare carrello dei formaggi, con una varietà difficile da trovare. E i dolci? Fantastici. Tornarci presto è d’obbligo!!!

16/11/2024: Unfortunately I would have liked to try this splendid place but we were not given the opportunity. We went 20 minutes before opening and were asked to come back at 6.30pm (opening time) even though there were already people inside (it seemed like friends of the owner). Once we returned at 6.35pm they told us that we couldn't sit because the place was fully booked for dinner... the conclusions are yours

05/12/2024: We generally have lunch in this place once a year, on the occasion of the ritual tour of my dad's home town and every time it is a pleasure both for the food and for the service and the atmosphere. Even for the inhabitants of Monforte this structure is a guarantee. We have always had a good time and the prices are right. I highly recommend it.
19/11/2024: Premetto che conosco bene le Langhe.... ho pranzato con amici.....cibo non all'altezza degli altri locali in cui ho mangiato. Prezzi onesti, porzioni anche, ma la qualità inferiore rispetto alla media degli altri ristoranti di Monforte. Ma soprattutto troppi vincoli nel menù........minimo 2 portate a testa....menù degustazione per tutto il tavolo o nulla.....TROVO DAVVERO INSOPPORTABILI TUTTI QUESTI VINCOLI!

11/12/2024: This is a long-established auberge with one Michelin star ristorante.
The hotel is a long-established hotel with a red theme, giving it a dignified yet cute feel.
The restaurant was the best on this trip.
The ravioli, tajarin, and main dishes were all delicious.
The staff are kind and warm like family.

€55 euros for the Alba white truffle tasting, it tasted like nothing! No flavor!
I ate a simple pasta with butter.
Another negative flaw is that if it hadn't been for the chef's welcome I wouldn't have given even one star. I saw too many gender preferences, those who wanted staff were treated with kid gloves, others were treated like rags. They didn't worry about anything!!

Delicious food, lived up to expectations.
I really appreciated the service thanks to a very young team, truly prepared and very humble.
The chef, born in '88, was an extraordinary host.
Overall very satisfied and I wish this project a long life.
20/11/2024: Family, peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Surprising and joyful local cuisine that the owners know how to appreciate! A little paradise at the bend of a vineyard nestled in the heart of a region which has offered its guests the best of itself... get there as quickly as possible and enjoy the little pleasures of life that only Italians know how to transmit.

18/11/2024: Un'autentica presa in giro. Va bene pagare 48 euro un piatto di cappellacci con ripieno di parmigiano e col tartufo bianco, peccato per la porzione di pasta degna di un fingers food e peggio senza aver visto pesato il tartufo.
03/11/2024: Ristorante posto nel centro storico di Monforte, location molto bella, personale gentile e professionale. Si mangia bene con piatti piemontesi e non presentati con eleganza e fantasia! Buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo! Sicuramente consigliato!!!

16/11/2024: Restaurant. We stopped in this restaurant while walking through the streets of the village, during a small holiday around the Langhe. In the square on the main street. Normal, welcoming, informal environment. The person who welcomed us was very courteous and willing to listen and advise. Good food, fair service, normal prices, two courses for 4, side dishes, water, bottle of Nebbiolo, coffee, 40 euros each.

26/08/2024: Beautiful swimming pools (one for adults and one for children), clean, tidy, frequented by many tourists. It is possible to have lunch with a typical Piedmontese menu, pizza and good wine. In the heart of the Langhe, in a town known for the Monforte Jazz festival.

26/10/2024: Piccolo locale senza grandi pretese, abbiamo ordinato delle pizze scoprendo che erano piuttosto ridotte per il prezzo pagato. Nulla di entusiasmante e sicuramente non ci ritorneremo.

16/12/2024: Decent food although certainly not unforgettable, rather sterile, cold and poorly lit environment. Very unhelpful staff. Not knowing that the place did not accept dogs, we asked if we could kindly make an exception since it was a very good, quiet and polite small dog. Without even trying to evaluate we were told absolutely no, putting us in a position to look for another place or leave the dog in the car in the cold. It hadn't happened to us in years. Dogs, if well-behaved and especially small, are now accepted everywhere. Too bad we won't be back again. Furthermore, important prices.
05/11/2024: Absolutely high level both in cuisine and in the preparation of dishes.
Typical and pleasant environment, during my stay quite quiet, only one very noisy (too) small child.
Wide choice of wine, I take the liberty of recommending the Langaroli DOC, Nebbiolo, Barbaresco and Barolo, they have the best cellars in house.
For the weekend they require your credit card details to accept the necessary reservation.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone without any hesitation.
