19/10/2025: Yesterday was an excellent new culinary experience! Everything was delicious, excellent Piedmontese cuisine of the highest quality, both in terms of ingredients, cooking, and presentation!
We'll definitely be back!
18/10/2025: I've been several times and have always had a great experience. The food is top-quality (always made in-house, including bread and grissini). I'll be back in the fall.

09/10/2025: Encouraged by the good reviews, we tried this trattoria (which is nothing like a trattoria), but unfortunately, we were disappointed. The dishes have been revisited, losing the originality that distinguishes authentic Langhe cuisine. But be careful with your bill, because the menu says the price of the dishes includes service, but in reality, you pay a cover charge. This is not very appropriate. The location is elegant and refined.
07/10/2025: Beautiful place...found it online since we were from Liguria...they even accepted our Labrador...everything was delicious...we'll definitely be back.
We recommended some friends to dine there the week after our stay.

02/10/2025: Good cuisine with local products, reasonably priced compared to similar restaurants in the area.
The raw meat is excellent. Avoid the butter and sage plin, however, as they have only a hint of seasoning, resulting in dry and stringy pasta.
The desserts are decent, but nothing special.
The service is courteous and friendly.
28/09/2025: Excellent trattoria nestled in the hills of Monforte. Generous portions and very reasonable prices for both quality and quantity (the tajarìn with ragù was only €10). The food was all excellent and beautifully presented. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially one of the waitresses who was particularly approachable and made us feel at home. It's the perfect place for a quiet Sunday lunch with friends. Highly recommended!

28/09/2025: Felicin is a historic family-run residence.
The room where we stayed, No. 108, features furnishings that belong to the family's ancestors, which speaks volumes about the tact and respect that should be shown when staying there.
The food is top-notch; a local wine merchant told us that the Felicin restaurant serves the best tajarin in the Langhe, and indeed, it did. The same was true for the rest of the dishes served. The staff is genuinely kind and attentive. The setting is beautiful; the residence is in the historic center of Monforte, also enchanting to visit, and just a few kilometers from Barolo, another worthy destination.
The view from Room No. 108 and from the entire residence is priceless.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, which I highly recommend.
09/09/2025: Incredible welcome; they immediately upgraded us to a nicer room with a wonderful view of the hills.
Everyone was incredibly kind; they even let us stay by the pool after checkout. Parking was also very convenient.
The room was gorgeous, spacious, and the complimentary coffee and water were not a given.
We will definitely be back; the property and pool are located high up, and the view is truly breathtaking.
Everything was perfect, truly compliments. Peace and tranquility reign supreme.

05/10/2025: A truly unique, vertically arranged, beautiful venue. The atmosphere is that of a high-end restaurant where conversations are hushed. The food, unfortunately, is very disappointing, both the first course (cheese gnocchi drowned in oil) and the second course (rabbit roll, tasteless and in modest quantities).

10/10/2025: I discovered it a few years ago, by chance, during a motorcycle ride, and was completely satisfied. Today I purposely returned—again, by motorcycle. What can I say? My memory was not only confirmed, but even surpassed. The ingredients are always excellent and expertly enhanced by the chef's elegant touch.
The desserts, made by the hostess, are also excellent!
A very elegant place in the Langhe, without being overly elaborate.
I won't dwell on the wine because that would be reductive.
Excellent value for money and impeccable service.
In my opinion, and on my palate, one of my favorites.
10/10/2025: We booked for four people. Two friends contracted COVID and couldn't attend. The owner charged us €80 for the two absent guests, even though their website doesn't allow changes to the reservation. We ordered two tasting menus. The food was average. The owner was rude and unhelpful. Not recommended.

11/10/2025: I ate at this restaurant for a couple of days (I was in town for work) and enjoyed the cuisine, which pays great attention to the finest ingredients, with some excellent reinterpretations of traditional recipes, and a wine list worthy of the place. The service was highly professional and the warmth that makes you feel at home.

And given the kind request...
Here it is!!
A 30-minute difference between the dish I ordered (a risotto that arrived in 2 minutes) and a pizza for my wife.
I had lunch alone, while my wife ultimately declined.
PS. I love risotto and know how to prepare it.
In 2 minutes, you can barely reheat something already prepared, and in fact, the taste/digestion of it left much to be desired.
A warm beer, which we politely declined.
We were remarked on the enormous patience shown towards us when we asked to move to the table next to ours because of the sun in our faces.
I apologize for this inconvenience.
Furthermore, we were charged a cover charge for my wife, who didn't eat anything, and obviously we didn't pay.
I doubt our paths will cross again.

31/08/2025: This is the third time in two years I've been here. I'll start by saying the gelato is decent, nothing more. I make gelato myself, so I know what I'm talking about. The service, however, depends on the manager's mood. It's not always pleasant. But the real problem is something else. The prices. By law, they must be displayed. Here, besides being very high and unjustified, they're never shown. €6 for a cup of three flavors is unacceptable. It's also punishable by law. I don't think it's fair.
I won't be returning.
30/08/2025: Average ice cream, extremely unfriendly, rude, and unhelpful owner. Totally ruined experience.
