We recently had lunch at Osteria Oca Giuliva, and the overall experience was decidedly good, despite a small reservation at the end.
The atmosphere is welcoming and informal, ideal for a quiet evening.
Strengths
Service: The staff was attentive, courteous, and quick. We were treated with the right amount of discretion and professionalism. A real plus.
Food: The quality of the ingredients and the execution of the dishes were impeccable. We ate very well, appreciating the authentic flavor of the preparations.
Wine: The selection of wines offered is top-notch, and the one we chose turned out to be excellent and paired well with our dishes.
The Only Downside
Everything was perfect until it was time to pay. Despite the deliciousness of our meal, we felt that the balance between the quantity and type of dishes chosen and the final price was slightly unbalanced. In short, for what we ate, we spent a bit more than we expected.
In Summary:
Osteria Oca Giuliva is a place where you can eat and drink well, with excellent service. If you're willing to overlook a bill that's perhaps a little above average for the offerings, it's a recommended place for lunch or dinner.

08/03/2026: We came all the way from Milan specifically to try their famous pizza and, of course, to meet the two stars of cRust in person!
The place is truly delightful and intimate, all stone with fairy lights that brighten the atmosphere.
Honestly, we didn't have many doubts about the pizza: the pictures on social media are so beautiful that it would have been truly incredible if the taste hadn't matched the aesthetics.
We ordered a whole wheat pizza and a black charcoal pizza, both delicious.
Our only regret is not having ordered the tasting menu to try more pizzas, but we'll definitely make up for it in the future.
As for the two protagonists:
Claudia: reserved and very professional.
Martina: an explosion of energy and sweetness.
Together, a perfect match!
We were truly satisfied and will definitely be back.

02/03/2026: I've been here several times to see if anything went wrong in previous visits, and that's normal. You usually walk in and there's a rather unkempt gentleman at the bar, who greets you and barely even gives a nod. The food isn't always good quality; the mixed fried food has been tried several times and reheated several times, the bread is stale, and the waitress is rude. Never again.

The lady at the register calculates the bill mentally, looking at the order slip her husband took. She moves quickly and doesn't produce a written receipt detailing the courses ordered, but simply states the total: €170.
I pay by debit card and leave.
I think about it, and with a menu in hand, I recalculate.
The bill would be €69.
I return, explain, and the lady recalculates verbally and states: €92.
I pay anyway, even though the figures don't add up again, but she also gets the change wrong.
I ask for at least the change due to pay the €92.
I go back out and this time I'm really leaving.
P.S. The cooking and food are always excellent, of course, but I hope you'll soon start to change your approach to this aspect of your work. Thank you.
23/02/2026: Overlooking the hills and vineyards, it offers typical Piedmontese dishes, reasonably priced, I recommend it.

11/01/2026: A typical Piedmontese trattoria, the food, service, and price were all excellent and fair... just one thing: the peppers with bagna cauda and cardoon flan would have been better if they had been a little hotter. The spaghetti cacio e pepe was a bit too peppery for my taste. The cod al verde was excellent.
We'll definitely be back.

This is the second time I've been fortunate enough to return to taste Chef Enrico Pivieri's cuisine, and once again the experience proved both surprising and completely convincing.
This time, instead of dinner, my partner and I chose to go for lunch on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The splendid sunny day allowed us to fully enjoy the air-conditioned veranda, a very pleasant and bright space that made lunch particularly relaxing.
Unfortunately, I don't remember all the dishes from our previous visit precisely: there were eight of us, and we shared numerous samples from the various courses. However, I remember very well the quality of the cuisine, which had already proven refined, balanced, and meticulously crafted, both in its presentation and in its aromatic and flavorful expression.
This time, too, the experience lived up to expectations:
Location: simple and elegant, with a refined yet never formal atmosphere
Service: attentive, professional, and yet friendly
Wine list: essential but well-constructed, featuring quality producers and an interesting selection of organic wines
Bread and breadsticks: excellent, with various varieties that pair well with the meal
Appetizers
Ceviche: fresh, balanced, and very elegant in its contrasts.
Fried egg yolk: delicious and perfectly executed.
First courses
Tajarin al nero: intense and enveloping.
Gnocchi with baby octopus: a dish rich in character and very well-balanced.
Second courses
Pluma: juicy and cooked with great precision.
Fried rabbit: crispy, light, and truly surprising.
Desserts
Three-chocolate pill: elegant and satisfying.
Sunrise: fresh and perfect to end the experience.
The coffee and final small pastry were amazing.
The bill was absolutely reasonable considering the overall quality of the experience.
In conclusion, a cuisine that demonstrates technique, personality, and great attention to the ingredients. Compliments to the chef and the entire staff: we'll definitely be back very soon.

24/02/2026: Good Tradizione menu but very small portions: focaccia necessary (tried the gorgonzola one: good). Fair choice among wines. Average quality for the price.
