09/06/2025: The food is very good, the meat is of good quality and well cooked, the atmosphere is nice in saloon style as the name promises and the service is punctual and attentive. We will definitely be back.

02/06/2025: Restaurant in the center of Moncalvo. Inside the rooms are a bit small and outside you are right on the street. The food is excellent! The Fassona meat is exceptional! The service is very courteous, helpful and friendly. Medium-high prices. The Fassona tartare with parmesan flakes and artichokes is excellent!

15/04/2025: Had dinner one evening during the week.. It was after 9pm... When others, with the most banal excuses, told you that their service had already ended... Instead, here I was welcomed with great availability and a familiar approach. I had dinner tasting an excellent trio of typical Piedmontese appetizers... sumptuous tartare, veal with tuna sauce and a spectacular Russian salad... A fresh potato gnocchi seasoned with excellent Castelmagno sauce... to make the slipper... To finish, homemade tart with fruit and chocolate... here's some orange peel... mouth-watering!! I was already very full... after finishing the glass of Barbera TOP (strictly Barbera Asigiana), beautifully scented and with interesting complexity... Nice atmosphere, excellent service....what else can I say... Totally adequate for everything I have described to you... Try it too... I'm sure it's worth it!!! Happy Easter and thank you for everything!!

30/04/2025: The cappuccino, coffee and croissants are excellent. They should put more care and attention into cleaning the toilet. The toilet paper should be replaced as it is old and yellowed, the toilet paper should be placed as best it can on a shelf, the hand paper should be thrown into a plastic fruit and vegetable box. Improve!

16/05/2025: This has been a favorite for me and my family since I was a little child. 25 years later it continues to satisfy every desire for Chinese food while giving me the peace of mind that the place is clean and well maintained. The owners are the sweetest couple and their attention and service are unmatched. My favorite dish is by far the Singapore noodles, it just brings back all my childhood memories! But their seared octopus is also great! Worth trying are the dumplings as an appetizer, and my meal would not be complete without the coconut ice cream!

30/05/2025: We ended up there last Sunday, my wife and I, "attracted" by the blackboard seen in the images here on Google; on the phone, the owner confirmed a gruff friendliness. On the spot, we found a homely atmosphere, where the friendliness of the service was really big, as big as my belly was (already before, but especially after eating): 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, all with encores or even tris!, plus dessert, coffee, pusacaffè, water and wine, 39 euros each. We left happy. I forgot that you couldn't pay by card, and the owner (who is also a member of the Granata team) waited for me to return from the ATM. We want to go back, maybe with children and friends!

12/05/2025: Discovered by chance, I celebrated with my family with an excellent lunch! Very friendly staff and excellent quality of food! I will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

21/04/2025: Pranzo di Pasquetta: servizio attento, atmosfera rilassata, ampi spazi esterni per giocare a Calcio balilla, per alzarsi tra una portata e l’altra. Giro di antipasti, un primo di pasta ripiena veramente buono , poi carne alla brace memorabile, tutto servito con Ottimi vini. La giornata è trascorsa in un ambiente veramente piacevole. Bravi Bravi Bravi.

09/04/2025: During my visit to Caffè Ponchione in Asti, I noticed that the steam wand was caked, raising hygiene concerns. It is essential that the lance is cleaned after each use to prevent bacteriological risks. The croissant was good, but the cappuccino was too hot, probably due to the reuse of reheated milk. The price of €2.70 is acceptable.

03/06/2025: Found by chance, and sometimes luck comes unexpectedly! We had lunch here with the family, a table on the lake shore, excellent traditional dishes, abundant quantities but that did not compromise the taste: a spectacular vitello tonnato and tajarin to be repeated. Attentive and very kind staff. We are not exactly very close, but we will plan to return! Well done.

01/06/2025: Because I can only give 5 stars but I would give it 100! We took a little tour in the Langhe and stopped almost by chance at this restaurant. We ate outside near the lake (trout and carp if I understood correctly). We were welcomed with kindness and professionalism. Walter prepared me the Fassona tartare with parmesan flakes and pear and calvados sorbet. A new dish that I was happy to be the 'guinea pig' for. Delicious!!! But also the veal with tuna sauce and the tartare on castelmagno cream were spectacular! For the first course we ate Tajarin (very fresh) with sausage sauce and plin with roast sauce. A real marvel for the palate. Portions more than abundant so much so that we couldn't eat anything else. Walter is really nice and jovial and it was nice to chat. He also offered us a bitter. Very clean and tidy environment. Tasty traditional dishes that do not disappoint expectations and a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home
