23/03/2025: Beautiful experience. The hotel rooms are nice and very clean! The view from the room is particularly pleasant. I really liked the breakfast, the buffet was not particularly varied, but the products that were there were all fresh and very good! The restaurant also has a positive opinion, good dishes and friendly staff. It is the ideal place to spend a weekend to relax.

20/03/2025: Back in the area we had lunch at the Ristorante del Castello. In addition to the very beautiful and elegant location both externally and internally, excellent preparation of the table settings, order and cleanliness, we had lunch with excellent dishes perhaps outside of the typical Piedmontese but appreciated for this reason by those who also appreciate new flavors or classy reinterpretations. The service was affable and friendly, an absolute place to visit if you want to feel cared for both by the kitchen and the service. Last but not least, excellent quality/price.

17/02/2025: Villa Bordone is an excellent choice if you want to have a romantic getaway immersed in the Langhe. Giovanni will open the doors of his home to you, an excellent owner who will pamper you in every way, attentive to every detail and to your well-being. Giovanni will cook you exceptional meals of traditional cuisine with the care and research of haute cuisine, he will be able to recommend the best wine to accompany each of your menus. The gem is his own saffron liqueur where you can taste it in his cocktail made up of sparkling wine and liqueur in the smoked version and as a digestive in the gold version. Another positive note is the breakfast, we tried both the sweet and savory breakfast, the sweet breakfast consisting of croissants, jams and very fresh yoghurt. The savory breakfast instead consists of cured meats and a selection of cheeses combined with jams and truffles, finishing with a fantastic omelette. For Valentine's Day dinner Giovanni opened the doors of his beautiful room, with a saffron menu and live music by a pianist and violinist who made the dinner even more intimate and romantic. A weekend immersed in well-being and complete relaxation between the Finnish sauna for private use and massage. The large room with retro style in line with the mood of the villa has all the comforts for an excellent stay, equipped with a kettle for hot tea, coffee machine (milk, ginseng, espresso...) snacks and fresh water. Plus it has excellent soundproofing. We will definitely be back for another romantic getaway.

25/03/2025: I have known this restaurant for at least 20 years and I have returned very willingly. It is run by 2 friends who have made catering their life essence. Over time nothing has changed, excellent food, well prepared, classic in its being typically Piedmontese. Good wine list, with particular attention to small producers. Applause to Sara in the kitchen and Patrizia in the dining room. Excellent value for money.

16/02/2025: Particular food, you will find cuts of meat that are rarely offered, served with excellent cooking. Naturally the price is related to the product, a very particular menu with an American West theme but nothing to do with the chain that bears the similar name. There is quality here! The cube roll is something indescribable, it melts your mouth. The service was a little fast at the end, the girl cleared the table and we still had a bite in our mouth, not even the time for the slipper, she already asked if we were taking anything else as if she had to free up the seats even if there were no other people waiting and in any case other free tables. We often go there when we want to indulge in a good, unusual second course

01/02/2025: Always a good place, I've been going there for years now. Good Mexican food and super selection of meats, decent portions and price in line with the type of place. Very nice environment and pleasant atmosphere. It is necessary to book on weekends and if there are more than 2 of you. Excellent for a dinner as a couple but also for a family reunion with friends.

29/08/2024: A particular place where you can enjoy excellent fried food and many other things, all also suitable for people with celiac disease, which is no small feat, in fact it also has AIC certification. We accompanied our fry with an excellent, very fresh white wine. It is a very easy place for those who prefer taste over form. 👏🏻

21/02/2025: Period restaurant located in the square of the historic center of Cocconato, with very well-kept interiors. The cellar on the lower floor is particular and rich. Ordered a raw meat with mustard ice cream cream, a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses (with all the various robiola specialties of the area), a Schisciola (similar to a pan pizza but less leavened) with melted robiola and mixed seasonal vegetables. Two glasses of wine, one white (Pinot grigio delle Venezie) and one red (Grignolino). To conclude, a cup of strawberries with cream ice cream and a hazelnut and chocolate cake with cream. Staff more than friendly. The choice and freshness of the raw materials should not be underestimated. Prices slightly above average, but for the dishes served it is absolutely worth it!

05/01/2025: E vi è andata bene che volevamo solo fare una degustazione "inter nos", praticamente assaggiare 3 vini da abbinare a salumi e formaggi ma la prossima volta saremo più per i piatti "cucinati". Dunque, torniamo indietro a quando la Padrona di casa ci ha accolti e accompagnati al tavolo, personalmente avevo già un bicchiere di Barbera d'Asti Superiore in mano, poi abbiamo fatto l'ordine del cibo prendendo 2 antipasti caldi (ottimi) e 2 "taglieri" diversi come piatti principali (eccezionali). Abbiamo bevuto un Sauvignon e un Rosato da Nebbiolo e Barbera di loro produzione, anch'essi degni di buona nota. Come dicevo prima, la fretta ci ha portati fuori dal locale anzitempo ma la prossima volta assaggeremo di più. Grazie mille per l'ospitalità.

31/08/2024: A great little panificio that makes things fresh on site! If you want a cornetto (Italian croissant) filled with chocolate or pistachio, they do it for you fresh there and then. All the sweet treats are amazing and fresh as is the bread. There is a small selection of other things in the fridges available, drinks, cheese and meats. The staff are friendly and chatty and do speak a little English, the prices are extremely reasonable, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
