20/09/2025: Best pizza I've ever eaten! The location is very welcoming, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh and seasonal. The desserts and liqueurs are also delicious. We'll definitely be back for the next pizza :)

20/09/2025: A place surrounded by greenery, the diners are incredibly friendly, and the pizza is AMAZING!! Made with local ingredients and homemade. They even gave us each a bottle of wine, which was a much-appreciated touch. We'll definitely be back to enjoy their wonderful pizza, and word of mouth will certainly spread.

16/11/2025: Very disappointed!!!!! After years of going, they put us in a room under the stairs, very noisy, with a small table that doesn't even exist in the hospital anymore, attached to a wall, we kindly asked to move seats, they said yes, immediately after they gave the table to 3 others, I'm sorry but we will never return

10/08/2025: We're a couple from Genoa and celebrated our anniversary at Madama Vigna restaurant near Asti, and I can say it was a real treat! The food was simply divine, every dish an explosion of flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. The service was incredibly professional, and the staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We'd heard great things about the famous Michelin-starred restaurant nearby, but I can honestly say that Madama Vigna is twice as good, if not better! The quality of the food and the friendly service were a real treat for us, and we'll definitely be back. Thank you so much to the entire Madama Vigna staff for making our anniversary dinner unforgettable!

28/10/2025: We went to the "Grüner Kater" (Green Cat) on the recommendation of our hotel (don't worry, there's no cat there) and we had a very good meal. They have many truffle dishes on the menu, but we were quite satisfied without them. My tip: pair it with a bottle of NIZZA DOCG from the region (the winery is only six and a half kilometers away); it was a perfect match. Very friendly staff!

01/08/2025: We spent a day at this splendid property in the historic center of Mombaruzzo, taking advantage of the spa package with lunch included. The staff's welcome was impeccable, professional yet warm. The spacious and well-maintained spa is the ideal place to relax and be pampered: clean spaces, a tranquil atmosphere, and an excellent selection of treatments. Lunch, served on the terrace with a splendid view, was a truly enjoyable experience, with refined and beautifully presented dishes in an elegant and relaxing setting. A place we'll definitely return to, to unwind and indulge in a moment of well-being.

17/09/2025: The thin-crust pizza wasn't bad. The service was poor. No one claims to be "smooth," but a little customer service wouldn't hurt. If you pick up the pizza plates and there's nothing coming, you might expect a response like, "Is everything okay? Would you like anything else?" Well, that wasn't the case for us.

17/10/2025: We had a wonderful time. The rooms are large, beautiful, and spotlessly clean. Two balconies, a large bathroom, a large shower, and two sinks. They feel like suites! The restaurant is exceptional, with a top chef, Valter. The service provided by Roberto and his wife is impeccable. I highly recommend it. Oh, and the aperitivo was magnificent, both for the wine and the food!! Thank you.

21/09/2025: Very spacious room with a sitting area. Bathroom with a huge shower and double sinks. Air conditioning. Very comfortable king-size bed. Larger-than-average TV. Pool towels provided. Large pool with loungers, umbrellas, and a lifeguard.

07/10/2025: I often return to this restaurant because everything is always excellent! The meat is delicious and carefully cooked, as are their appetizers... the Russian salad is exceptional!!

02/11/2025: We had dinner with colleagues, tables full. The place was welcoming, spacious, and clean, with young, friendly staff. The only downside is that there were 10 of us, and we ordered five 1.5-liter jugs of beer, a pizza, and everyone else a deconstructed sandwich with burgers made of different meats—Chianina, buffalo, Angus, and Fassona. When they served them, after the main course they brought to the table, the waiters no longer knew what type of meat they were serving us. We realized they were all the same, the pizza was very salty, we left half, and no one asked why... oh well... We paid €230.00. Okay, we asked for two amaros and they charged us €5. What can I say... make your own assessments.

The restaurant was quite busy, which immediately gave us the impression that it’s somewhat of a local gem — and judging by the number of locals dining there, that certainly seems to be the case. La Douia offers both a generous buffet option and a full à la carte menu, which gives guests a nice variety depending on their appetite and preference. We decided to order à la carte, and the food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care and high-quality ingredients. From the antipasti to the main courses, everything had that unmistakable homemade Italian touch. There was a small mix-up with the antipasti and primi piatti, but the staff handled it with professionalism and kindness. The service overall was very good — friendly, attentive, and efficient, even with the restaurant being quite full. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with that authentic, local charm that makes you feel instantly welcome. It’s the kind of place where you can tell people come back again and again — not just for the excellent food, but for the genuine hospitality. All in all, Ristorante La Douia is a place we would absolutely return to. Whether you’re in the mood for a leisurely lunch, a cozy dinner, or just want to enjoy true Italian cuisine among locals, this restaurant is well worth a visit.
