18/08/2024: Excellent experience - 3 nights with 1 dinner - excellent quality of food, punctual service - a plus for the spectacular raw meat - excellent location with a remarkable view of the valley - I travel with a 28kg male Labrador dog who was welcomed kindly - the structure It is notable for the presence of many cats - in short, dogs and cats do not always get along - but there were no problems whatsoever thanks to the commitment of all the people in charge of the structure - I also recommend it to all the owners of our dog friends

10/12/2024: I tell it to motivate the review stars. Today I was in Asti for the Escher exhibition; I was alone. I wanted to try one of the stuffed potatoes. I arrived at the restaurant at 12.23pm, freezing and in a light rain. I touched the door which was open and I went in... they told me "we open at 12.30". I asked if I could sit down in the meantime (given the few minutes before opening, the weather conditions and the need for a bathroom); but they replied that I could be seated from 12.30. I waited outside. It doesn't exist. The venue is very beautiful. The potato I ate was good and the price was right; I had to ask for bread because they didn't bring it to me. Ok, I ate the potato, but never again with such inhospitality.

Probabilmente mi avrà presa per matta ma quando sono andata a ritirarla sono rimasta contentissima, era oltre le mie aspettative con una cura dei dettagli assurda. Oltre che bella era anche ottima e ovviamente i miei ospiti sono rimasti stupiti Grazie di cuore 💞

05/11/2024: Update 2024. At the beginning of October we were back in the Barolo area. So it was clear to us that we would plan a meal at Santisè on the return journey via Asti. The weather was a bit too cool for an outdoor lunch, but the interior is also very nicely decorated - somewhat Italian-rustic. As expected, the food was again excellent and the service was very friendly and personal. Another highlight was the “open red wine” that my wife ordered. She could choose, took the Barbera d'Asti Bricco dell Uccellone and was thrilled. The bottle from which the wine was served had an elaborate attachment that protected the wine from oxygen - very appropriate for this good wine. - Until the next trip to Piedmont! We were there for lunch in September 2022. Very nicely prepared and delicious food in a very pleasant atmosphere outside in the garden of the restaurant. We liked it so much that we stopped there again a week later on our way back.

02/12/2024: I didn't know it, but it was a pleasant discovery! Not an excessively large place (it is advisable to book) where I found an excellent quality of food and above all a "customer-friendly" service; many times in these restaurants the dishes arrive all together or in any case in a sequence that does not allow you to enjoy the food and the meal with peace of mind. Not here, the service was pleasant, without pauses but without hassles: well done! I will definitely return and recommend it with pleasure.

26/08/2024: La pizza in se non è malaccio, perlomeno, gli ingredienti sono buoni, nel complesso non è una pizza super ma accettabile, vino sfuso della casa anche buono. Purtroppo i prezzi sono davvero troppo troppo alti. Forse il locale punta più sul ristorante che sulla pizza, e forse è rivolto più ad una clientela di "turisti" (da spennare), non lo so, ma parlando esclusivamente della pizza il rapporto qualità prezzo non è per nulla equilibrato, oltretutto non è nemmeno un posto con vista da giustificare almeno il panorama. Minacciava temporale e siamo stati messi fuori in posto scoperto in quanto ci dissero che era tutto prenotato, sta di fatto che quando ce ne siamo andato oltre il 50% dei tavoli era ancora vuoto, per fortuna avevamo finito ma stava iniziando a piovere e ce ne siamo andati (metti caso che avessimo voluto un dolce era impossibile) e nessuno ci ha chiesto se volessimo spostarci su un tavolo coperto per finire con un dolce o un caffè. Di sicuro non ci torneremo.

22/08/2024: Abbiamo voluto provare questo ristorante avendone sentito parlare molto bene...e ieri 21 agosto siamo andati a cena li. Ambiente semplice ma curato con possibilità di mangiare fuori con zona fumatori nel caso.....personale decisamente professionale e molto presente....e il cibo provato ci ha lasciati molto soddisfatti...!! abbiamo preso un antipasto di terra ed uno di mare...bellissimi alla vista ma tutto era squisito...particolare non da sottovalutare poi...le porzioni...praticamente sarebbero bastati come cena!! nonostante il "pieno" dovuto agli antipasti abbiamo poi voluto provare la pizza....una margherita ottima ed una con cornice ripiena di ricotta che purtroppo per metà abbiamo dovuto poi portare a casa xchè proprio non ci stavano....c'è stato però un ottimo tiramisu' a conclusione della cena...!! consigliatissimo...!!

In Vesime, in the Town Hall square, opposite the beautiful medieval building with portico which houses the Municipality, and high up on the hill the imposing view of the remains of the castle, on the left there is this pastry shop and bars where, in addition to excellent desserts and selected products, you can find ice creams that alone deserve a detour and a stop...
